We had the mussels, oysters, and the poke! Poke was pretty good, but the oysters and Mussels were phenomenal. Our server Logan was awesome. Often food is great with the compromise of service. Not a problem here, great food and great service.
JAX has great staff. Their boots, jackets and clothes are available in sizes that fit and last for years. Best bang for the buck on the front range!
I am 11 years old and my dad took me to theJax store off of college to look at bows. Reese helped us. He was very helpful and he didnt treat me like a child. He answered my questions. He watched while I shot my bow, and then he found me a good bow. After I shot it, he put together two bows for me and my dad and let us use of the range to find the one I liked best. Thanks for such great help!

I went here to find a gift for my boyfriend. You could find anything you’re looking for in terms of sports, I got a tackle box and some organizers for only about $20. However, there are definitely pricier items throughout the store. But it’s well organized and well staffed, I’ll definitely be returning!

I heard such great things about this store so I went. First of all most of the stuff in there is way over priced and to make it worse they do not mark the price on most items so you have no idea what you are paying until you get up to the register. There was a dog treat that rang up at $12.99. It was tiny. I would rather buy my dog a real steak than to pay $12 for the bone with a tiny scrap on it. Plus it was unmarked so I wouldnt even know how much I was paying unless I was paying attention. Obviously they are trying to get over on people by not pricing items. I walked out in disgust!

So I actually did not go into jaxs this time, however the food truck that uses the parking lot is amazing. Great food, great prices, and the workers are friendly. I recommend stopping there befkre or after your shopping at Jax.
I was having some issues returning an item and left a review outlining the issue.I was called within 24 hours by the assistant manager Chris Brown. She assured me that she would make the issue right and she did.Annabelle was the kind young lady that helped me return the item when I went back into the store. She was very informative and easy to chat with. Much more polite and curious than the original set of employees I talked to.It was a good experience in the end and I will continue to chop at Jax because of Chris Browns and Annabelles great customer service.
I love this place; its an adventure in and of its own to shop here. They have a mind-blowing selection too. I needed an obscure map for Southern Colorado on short notice--they were the only one in town who had it. I needed my camera serviced--they had an expert in the camera department. I needed some advice picking out backpacking gear, and they were very knowledgable in that department too. I also attended a free community presentation from an Arctic photographer and researcher at this location, and have rented cross country skis and snow shoes. They will give you local guide information (where the best trails are, road and snow conditions, etc) whether or not you are purchasing anything. They also offer animal dental cleanings on certain days, and have a knife sharpener. I take all my friends here for the experience when they visit. Maybe their prices arent the most competitive, but you make up for it with the expert knowledge, friendly staff, and incredible selection. Truly, I dont know where they find their products but they have a superior selection to Amazon--and good quality at that.
Jax has been my go to store for everything outdoors since I moved to Fort Collins over 15 years ago. Today I purchased a pair of trail shoes that I can also use for work. Theyre made by Altra...a brand Ive never considered until Nate in mens shoes sold me on Altras concept, design, local footprint (No pun intended) and logic behind their vision on how shoes should fit. Great job Nate...I couldnt be happier with my purchase.
Staff is super helpful. The prices can run a bit high but often times they carry equipment that most other places dont. Ive found prices at Jax are usually better than REI, with a better selection.
This is not your typical Jax. It’s very modern. Friendly staff all around. And they’re the newest Specialized Bicycle dealers in town. They’ve got a nice selection too. Do check em out.
Great store, just needed more time
I used to see JAX as the place I would go for great outdoor equipment and excellent customer service... that was until I bought a bike from them. I thought I got a great deal until I rode it twice. The first time one of the crank arms almost fell off and the second time the suspension fork was sticking and had to be warranted. The bike and camping department staff were great! They were apologetic and even set me up with a loaner bike so I could still go riding. Then, what started out to be a two week repair become 8-10 weeks without my new bike. I talked with the bike department staff about exchanging or returning my bike and they were very understanding and helpful... but the JAX administration/management insisted that I pay a 10-15% restocking fee for a bike I rode twice. That may not sound like much but when you figure this is on a purchase that costs $1000, $2000 or $3000 that could add up to $150 to $450... for a bike that couldn’t even be ridden! I went ahead and returned the bike and paid the restocking fee. Luckily I found a better bike at a lower cost... but I will never darken JAX’s doorway again! Due to poor corporate level customer service you have lost one, and possibly more customers forever! I hope it was worth it for you!

Fun place to shop good products i would like to add some thing more i had purchased a pair of pants for my son yesterday there were to small brought them back with a receipt a got a bigger pair also bought another pair or Levis for my self I am retired and have grown my beard and hair out not really wanting to go to a barber but enough of the back ground. The FoCo north College store had a pair of shoes transferred from another store. FoCo store didnt have the style/size combo we wanted of a Chaco sandal, so they got them from another store.We went to pick up the shoes. The box was marked with the size we wanted. However, the shoes were a different size. Evidently, the transferring store didnt check that the shoes matched the box.We are thankful that the cashier at the FoCo store DID check.Shoe Guy at FoCo (I regret that I didnt check name badges) checked their inventory and found a shoe that might work.If the shoe (worn indoors) doesnt work, we can return it.

Best outdoor store for all your outdoor needs. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and I am always impressed at the amount of choices. They have anything from kids toys, hot sauce, hiking boots and sunglasses to camping gear and high quality clothing. Very highly recommended.

Be aware that by shopping at any Jax store, you are supporting anti-law enforcement sentiment amounting to basic virtue signalling.. If a company makes the choice to publicly pull support from law enforcement in your local community, they are making a broader statement that they would rather not get behind those who would uphold the law and protect your families. They support the sentiment that it isnt popular right this moment to support your police and sheriffs department so they remove a product line.. They have made it clear they dont care that they lose your business..

Wonderful place for anything you can ever want for the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing etc. Also they have a great kitchen and cooking section that includes a small candy area with affordable and delicious fudge and truffle selection.

Always a great selection of baits . Staff is knowledgeable about conditions. There minnows died but had saved some and we caught fish with the shiner brine they made.
Love this store and have been going there for over a decade it seems, but highly disappointed to hear that they removed the thin blue line police gear. We should be celebrating our police force and thankful for having them, not crusading against them. Not sure I will be going back now!

Its nice having a shooting range down the road to shoot bows. But the down side is they only really deal in Matthew, and our group shoots all sorts of brands. They were great at stepping back and saying they dont wanna tweek with the bow we needed fit for my boyfriend because they didnt have the experience with the brand. Itd be nice to see other/more gear in archery.
They have everything you could ever want in terms of outdoor gear. Its unbelievable! They many giant departments. I would give them 5 stars except for one thing that is really disturbing. In the hunting structure, there are photos on the wall of hunters and their kill, including trophy hunters with exotic animals including an ELEPHANT! I didnt even think that it was legal to kill an elephant, but I do know its not something to celebrate on the wall of a store. Shocking. You guys really need to take some of those down.
Not a discount store, thats for sure, natural high quality products. The place is like a high end general store. Fun to go in even if youre not looking for anything.

Obviously this shop has just about everything you could imagine for outdoor rec (and your house, and etc.) but I mainly go for the fishing, and they always have just about anything youd ever need - from fly fishing to ice and spin and bait.

We will never set foot in these stores again. Spineless ownership pulling its support for law enforcement tells us everything we need to know. Funny part is, the excuse used for pulling law enforcement support products, is just that...an excuse and a lame one at that. Word is out. Hopefully the loss of support is enough to put this business out of business or at least have a profound effect on current business.

Bought a Reddington vice 6 wt. for 80 bucks off normal price. Great fishing selection and tons of flies. Customer service/friendliness in the fishing department is lacking, but overall a great place to pick up leaders, tippit, indicators, flies, etc.. Very nice gun department as well.
My go-to for outdoor gear. They even dig ski wax out of storage for me in July!! 🍻
If I could go lower than one star I would. Do to requiring your customers to wear masks which is unconstitutional and one of your customers making a rude comment, I will not be in the store again. Night alone you want out on a minimum I have $130 sale not to mention future sales that could total up in the thousands due to what Im looking to buy. I will order online from a different vendor you too they have it for the same cost and it will be shipped to my front door. If you think Im kidding look at my Facebook the things I have posted about Walmart and you understand how Ive badmouth Walmart. I dont recommend anyone shopping at Walmart even
