Friendly, however, staff not knowing where lawnmower blades were (eye sight from front counter) nor the location of pool supplies ( isle 4 ) proves ether lack of training, truly not caring to give the best customer experience possible or the inability to record his surrounding for use at a later time. I went on the hunt myself as he stayed behind at his counter position, not how I was trained much earlier to take the customer to the location, ask if they have any questions and earn their business. Pricey _ but had what I needed.

Ace Hardware is about 1 mile east of Home Depot. If you are looking for a lot of one thing, it will be less expensive at Home Depot. However, if you are looking for a very specific item, and cant find it at Home Depot, then Ace Hardware is the place to go. You might pay a few pennies more, but it is well worth it.When you are thinking of finding a large quantity of a particular item, Home Depot is a few pennies more per item. It certainly saves running all over the place, to find the item.The employees are very nice, and know exactly what you need, and will walk over to show you what you are looking for.This is my new favorite Hardware store! Very helpful staff. A good variety of hardware and home needs. I feel that the downtown Ace Hardware or Josephs hardware have a better selection for more obscure parts or hardware. Still this is a fantastic neighborhood hardware store

I was there this afternoon buying a shelf and various items, and was immediately followed around by staff, which was no big deal. But after a few minutes the guy with glasses (Im assuming the manager) walked up to me very confrontational and started asking me a bunch of ridiculous questions and accused me of shoplifting! Asked me if I had anything in my pockets and told me to stop shopping and check out or leave! For absolutely no reason I was there maybe 10 minutes and bought items, I was not acting suspicious or doing anything weird or anything that would call for that behavior. Im still very confused as to what that guys deal was, but what an idiot definitely not going there again.

The entire staff is so helpful and pleasant. A real hardware store with people who know what theyre talking about.

This place was the worst I have ever dealt with in a hardware store.Call the head they had 4 gallons of my stain I needed I said I would be in after 330 could they shake them they said yes,Got there they did not have the product didnt have anything close I could use I asked them to call and see who else had it in stock I needed to stain the play land tonight,The gentleman that was helping me was beyond rude would not call any other place to see if they had a product so that I could get the job done !They now have a lost of good customer...😡

Found all of the plumbing supplies that I needed here when the Home Depots couldnt keep any in stock! And the folks here are much more attentive if you need help.

Used to be a great place, they expanded, and are now closed at 4pm or 6pm during the week? How is that convenient for customers? Were not all retired. Cant get there before they close on workdays...

Aside from being mask nazis, they are the best for customer service and expertise, as well as better project- planning ideas and hardware to meet your specific needs for customers who may know kind of what they want but not exactly what they want.A word of advice: go to Ace before you go to Home Depot, or you may end up having to make 2 stops instead of just 1. Ive learned that lesson a couple times now.

Grant was the most helpful ever! We came in with a huge camper van building project and he spent over 30 minutes helping us with everything from polyurethane application to a very strange plumbing setup. He was so patient and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He made a stressful project seem less overwhelming and more doable. thanks Grant!

This place is excellent. I am in a hardware or home improvement store 1-2 days per week, and I prefer the experience here to the big-box type of store. The selection was good, the prices were reasonable, and I got what I needed for my project in short order. Peter and John were professional, personable, and humorous.

Went into this store over the weekend and had a great experience until I went to the registers. I overheard one of the managers talking very rudely to their cashiers. Being unnecessarily sassy and demeaning, in front if customers. I think her name was Lindsey. Other than that everything went well with the help from some great workers.

Looking for specific hardware to fix a pump. Their parts aisle was perfect. The employees helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Kids loved the fresh popcorn while I figured things out. Success!

Man, do I LOVE Ace Hardware! If they dont have it they can get it. Just give em a little time. The downtown store has a lower level as well, with FURNITURE and patio stuff.There are three locations in town now, so most areas in Fort Collins are served. The one nearest me, on Harmony, is the second largest, and is always well staffed with pleasant, eager to help personnel.They are somewhat pricier than Home Depot, but if HD doesnt have it, Ace will!

I love the downtown ace hardware. Their friendly and very. Knowledgeable. I definitely give downtown ace hardware 5 star . .. but he ace on harmony and lemay not so much. They rush their customers. They dont really let you shop.. its like they want you to get what you need and get out !! So no 5 stars for harmony ace.

Great store! Prices a little higher across the board at this Ace, than others Ive shopped. More comparisons of pricing equal to Lowes. Still a great store with lots of friendly Associates willing to help you find what you seek.

When I need something normally Ace will have what I need and being a veteran they give a 10% discount on everything I purchase. The service is very good and I find the people are very knowledgeable on what Im looking to purchase. I highly recommend this store.

I went in there to avoid paying $29 for a replacement device that I only really needed a $2 part from the whole thing. I met a very nice and funny guy that helped me find the replacement solution for literally 28 cents. Very helpful and actually know what theyre talking about.

My wife and I strongly believe in supporting well run customer-focused local small businesses, even if it means paying a premium for products or services. After all, its hard for a small business to compete with the financial advantages that a large scale operation has. We LOVE this ACE Hardware and have never been disappointed with the huge, diverse selection of items, but moreover, the friendly knowledgeable staff. Ive never stumped them with an electrical, plumbing or hardware need. Two thumbs up to the owners, management and crew.

Very helpful staff, excellent service.

My furnace was not lighting, and found a bad ignitor element. I called Ace, described the problem, and Eddie (employee) knew the issue and what replacement part was needed. I got to the store right before closing, he showed me the part, and described how to install it. All in all, it was a very good experience and the furnace is fixed. (Other local big box stores didnt carry the part.)

Our online other was ready and waiting, and picking it up was quick and easy. Just like it is supposed to be!
