This is the biggest Fareway I have been to. Did not disappoint! Went to get some good meat and found some stuffed pork chops for dinner. The meat department was very busy but I only had to wait 5 minutes!

Would have given them a 5, but they seem to be out of their specials a lot

The meat counter is fantastic. Most of the meat choices that you would want are readily available. I was specifically looking for thick-cut fillet mignon, without bacon. I settled on 10 flat iron steaks. The produce was absolutely beautiful and the shelves were stocked with everything to pull off a fantastic meal for my wife and father-in-law.

Love this store if I could afford it I wouldnt shop any where else.

I really like Fareway. Their meat dept is 2nd to none. I would do all my grocery shopping there if they were more dependable about having the items I need. They have very fair prices and great people. I would also rather just take my own groceries out.

The best store in Ft.Dodge. Buy most if my groceries there. I do buy at Aldis for some baking items because theyre a lot cheaper, but you dont get the personal attention there. All the Fareway people are friendly and helpful.

Newer store with a large parking lot and easy entry and exit to streets. Fareway is known for its meat department and this location lives up to expectations with a large variety of meat products, great staff, and excellent prices. In practically every other grocery department though, Fareways selection, while ample, is not on the same par as Hy-Vee or even Wal-Mart. Produce will be fresh, but again, significantly less variety than Hy-Vee. Fareway is a bit of a throwback, no-frills type store, but you are likely to find 90% or more of what you need here and save money and time in the process. They have excellent specials and prices are typically lower than Hy-Vee across the board. Very clean, well-staffed, and they still carry your groceries to your car if you want them to.

Best meat counter (beef, pork, ect., not fish) in town! Just like an old time meat market.

I love shopping here but hate that I need to teach the young kids the proper way to bag my groceries every trip.
