They run the perfect scam, will charge your insurance company a lot of money and will install a cheap mexican windshield that distortions your vision. When you complained they will tell you they will need to contact your insurance again to upgrade to an OEM. The warranty they offer is based on the knowledge that they are selling low quality products that will need to be replaced, if you identify the scam. My car is a 2017 Hyundai Santa fe Sport. Will contact BBB and the consumer protection agency to report the scam.

Not Professional at all.spoke with representative 4 days ago, gave the the model of the truck, year and all information that they needed.they told me what is the cost, I agree and we schedule appointment for Wednesday.They sent us a confirmation, we confirmed the appointment.on the day of the appointment we wait for the technician 4 hours, the guy didnt show up, we called the company and they told us that they did mistake with the window.So, we reschedule the appointment for the following day.. no problem... happen.TODAY, they didnt show up again... they told us that the technician has delay and he is on his way.Then they called us and told us that the price is not $375 plus tax, they made another mistake and the price is $675 plus tax.Thank you... but Im not looking for unprofessional.
Great experience. 🙂I arrived just before 8AM. I have a spinal cord injury and cant walk. They let me sit in the back if my van while they worked on the windshield. It was completed in under an hour.Professional and fast.I Highly recommend this Safelight Auto Glas located.
My window was replaced in 2 1/2 hrs. It had to be special ordered and took 2 1/2 wks but it was worth the wait. I waited in a clean air conditioned area for the installation at the Oakland Park location.

Well they need definitely a better customer service attitude, they have a guy sitting in the front desk in a computer with a heavy and mean attitude towards the customers. He is the heavy set white guy with glasses right next to the back exit sign. He needs to have a better positive working attitude because your customer service will be awful if he continues with this type of behavior.
I made an appointment on the company website for my vehicle at 7:30am on a Friday morning to replace the rear window on Saturday morning. I paid for the services at the time of making the appointment and thought everything was all set. I received a call on Saturday morning from their office telling me that the replacement glass was not going to be available until the upcoming week. I have to go out of town and was not given any time by Safelite to make other arrangements. Someone from corporate should have contacted me during the day on Friday so I could make other arrangements. It does me no good to receive a call Saturday morning to tell me that Safelite was not able to meet their obligations. Horrible experience! Safelite has not offered to make this right and I will be taking my business for both personal and my company elsewhere. This is not how you do business!!!

My boyfriend has made 2 appointments with this company and both times it was cancelled at the last minute or the technician just didn’t call or show up. The first time they claimed they didn’t have the windshield and had to get it delivered from another store. They didn’t even let us know until 30 minutes before the appointment. Monday comes around and we are waiting from 12-5 for the technician to show up and we never get a call. We called the store after the window and no one could give us any information on where the technician was or what was happening. This is just completely ridiculous at this point. No one has even called us today about the technician not showing up. Not sure what’s going on over there but I don’t recommend this place.
I brought my Honda in for a new windshield, back in February. The installer was professional and did a good job. The issue I have is with the recalibration rain sensor of my brand new car. Safelite said they needed to recalibrate my rain sensor in order to finish the job. When doing so, the recalibration messed up my brake and lane assist programming. Im updating this review since I have been talking to a very helpful Safelite customer service representative. Angela was able to reverse the recalibration charge on Safelite billing so that I could get reimbursed from the insurance company for the recalibration fees. Hopefully this works and I wont have to pay the $500 out of pocket.
Pedro was extremely courteous, professional, and kind. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He even offered to get us an Uber! He kept us updated throughout the whole process, giving us his personal number. I would recommend them to anyone.
After 4 hours of waiting, they gave me the car with the glass that replaced in bad conditions, the crystal had some marks that tried to cover them with a black marker, with very poor taste and not professionalism at all! You cant do that with any car! Much less with my Lexus I care very much and always impeccable! After complaining and demanding that the crystal be changed again and do the work as they correspond to me, they told me that I have to wait a few days before the new crystal arrives and lose another 4 hours to get it installed again! I hope they will do what they said and do their job well this time!

I was very worried this was a bad place because they dont even answer their phone no matter how many times you try. Cant get even a question answered. When a finally got there after an on-line booking where I do all the work, a man named Pedro walked out and said You must be Mr. ******* and weve been expecting you Im telling you, that this man was so nice, so professional and easy to deal with I wish my glass would break more often. This man is exactly who I want to work for my business and represent my company. One of the tiny few educated, professional good guy employees left in south Florida. Great experience, and on time as well as called me an hour or two early to come pick up my car up. This happens almost NEVER in this area of south Florida. Work was perfect as well.

I had a great experience at this location. Pedro helped me from beginning to end. This was the first time that I had to get my windshield replaced. As soon I arrived, I was greeted by Pedro and he offered to Uber me for free while I waited. He finished my car in less than two hours and I was ubered back. You couldn’t even tell that the windshield was replaced and everything was completed flawlessly. When I left, the car was parked facing towards the exit and the front seats and floors were vacuumed. Best part was my insurance picked up the entire tab and I had to pay nothing! Awesome! Not sure why there are some negative reviews because it was phenomenal customer service from beginning to end!

The repair was done in Ocala, and it was done incorrectly. They sent a tech last Thursday to Miramar to correct, and the tech told me they had to order a new windshield. He called his manager and scheduled me for this Tuesday, April 27. Nobody showed up. I called, and they said there was no appointment set up. Trying to talk to their customer service is a mission. I would recommend using another glass company. I used them because State Farm told me to.

I have used them in the past before I didnt have any problems then. This time I didnt go with them for my choice of service because they were on the expensive side. I found a company for 100 dollars less,than what they were going to charge. I must say that this company were just as good as safelite, they even vacuumed the glass out of my car from the break in.
Cancelled three times stating it’s a “two man job.” Shows up late when we’re closing with one guy. An hour later the tech is sitting in his car waiting for the other guy. The installers were polite and friendly but I was very frustrated.

Worst experience, I had a 10am appointment. They never even touched my car until 11:30am. My car was done around 2:30pm. The adhesive from the old windshield was left all over my dashboard as well as my floor mats. It appears the tech hit something while driving into the garage. Cracked my side marker light and scratch the paint, to top it all off they left my hood seal sitting on top of my engine. I drove home on 595 the whole way home. The blue in the first picture is where that seal goes. The yellow is where I found it...
We spent the whole day on Saturday from 10 AM to 5:30 PM with our car at Safelite. We were originally told to expect weight time to be between three and four hours. Apparently there was an issue with their calibration system. We were not notified of the delay. We left Saturday evening and my car is not functioning correctly. I receive error messages and the cameras are not working and was told that they would get back to me and let me know how to fix this issue. I have yet to hear from anyone.

I cant explain what an amazing experience I had in this shop, I mean completely blew my highest quality standards, as soon as I came in, they knew my name, they were expecting me, they took my car right away and treated me to coffee and ordered an Uber ride which was safely monitored (both ways). My car service was absolutely perfect, they replaced my windshield with the exact original glass, everything looked like nothing happened and my car was cleaned and disinfected and it was exactly on time. Pedro was absolutely fantastic, he kept me up to date and even waited longer for me to get there to collect the car just so I could take it the same day, they were so sweet and respectful and treated my mom like a queen. Honestly I havent received this level of service even on my luxury dealer... expectations are high now!!! thank you thank you totally recommend this shop to anyone!
They dont do a clean job. Car was washed before I took it there for windshield repair. Hand prints everywhere. Sticky marks all over hood. Did not glue/ tape the plastic surrounding area back properly near the bottom. Very expensive. Not oem quality glass at all.

Terrible way to run a business not able to talk to a real person got three estimates all with different price very disappointed
So I used AutoGlass Perfections which as I have learned a subcontractor for Safelite AutoGlass. I caught 1 of the guys ready to put his shoe on my leather seat and stopped him! It was cloudy when they installed and cloudy the next day. The first sunny day I noticed a 3 mark on the leather on my dashboard, I immediately contacted Tamara from AGP (an alleged friend of more than 15 years) to let her know. They asked if they could send someone to look at the damage, sure why not. They claim I didnt open my truck for their man to come to see the damage, seriously what would I benefit by not letting someone look at damage. Why would I deceive a friend let alone anyone else if the damage wasnt theirs?? Anyway, several messages unanswered and a month still later she finally responds by telling me to contact her insurance (Safelite). They send out 2 men to see the damage and both of them confirm it appears to be a chemical burn, they both said to me it looks like their adhesive dripped and it appears someone tried to wipe it off. Safelite is now ready to send me to repair and then suddenly call off my repair because I signed a paper saying the glass install was ok, no where does it say anything about clearing anyone from potential damages. Anyway, they were ready to fix what AutoGlass Perfections damaged! They already acknowledged it was damaged by the changing of my windshield. I WOULDNT recommend AutoGlass Perfections or Safelite AutoGlass to change with windshield on my Barbie Car!!!

They did a great job 👏. But just Slow 🐌and I mean every word. It took 5 and half hours for 2 hour job. They put me in a Uber and sent me home cause I couldnt wait that was nice. And supposedly when my car was ready they sent me an Uber to bring me back to the shop. But my was at 12pm they called me at 5:15pm letting me know the Uber on its way. Wow!WOW!
I was greated early by Christopher ID 1840-187 who was not only punctual and friendly but did a fantastic job replacing my windshield. He also took great care working on my car making sure everything was done and put back correctly. Great service and quality craftsmanship! Pedro did my windsheild and did an excellent job. Mercedes Benz with night vision camera attached to the glass and no problems whatsoever. Same night we had a serious storm and no leaks. Very happy. Dont hesitate to being in your Benz or BMW as they can handle it no problem. I opted to have mine done at the shop. Very happy I did as I was able to eat lunch near by and shop at the auto parts store too while waiting. Geico insurance made it easy on their website. And Safelite was the obvious choice for a quality job. My glass was pre-ordered and all was ready to go when I arrived to my appointment. Thanks! Only wish all things in life went this smoothly! 😎
Technician Matt from the Oakland Park, FL Safelite office arrived on time to remove and replace my damaged windshield. Matt was super friendly and took the time to explain the removal and replacement process. I can honestly report that Matt took every care in the world with my truck, Ill go as far as to write, he treated my truck exactly the way I expected.From scheduling, to assisting with the insurance claim to the final step of install, the Oakland Park Safelite dealer did an excellent job. My advice, request technician Matt from this Safelite dealer to remove and replace your auto glass.
Would give zero stars if possible . Spent an hour on hold with Safelite to schedule a replacement service . Arranged my entire day to be home in time for the repair, upon arrival was told they couldn’t do it mobile because of the make of the car (which they already knew ) and then the guy drove off with zero apology. Will never use again.
Quick and fast service.they provide Uber service for dropping off and pickup your vehicle.I also know that they do mobile glass repair means they can come to your place.I had a broken windshield and My vehicle required special sensor alignment so I had to take it to their store but the process was painless and insurance covered all the cost.
I was at a loss for words when I got off of work and saw that my window had been smashed and my car had been broken into. The police officer told me his girlfriend had used Safelite and said they werent too expensive. Then, talking to my fiance on the phone, he sang the Safelite repair, Safelite replace jingle and told me to try them. Getting an appointment online was a breeze, my fiance dropped it off and said they had already started cleaning out all of the glass in the car before he had even left... our car was ready to be picked up a few hours later and we honestly couldnt even tell that we used to have a broken window! Exceptional work! I was a bit confused that the lady kept insisting I needed my license to pay, considering we had told them my purse was stolen, but it was finally resolved by showing her other paperwork with my name on it from our other car. That was the only small hiccup in everything. Thank you so much! I have already begun recommending this company to others!

What a POS company....Had appointment between 8-12 and requested a call ahead which they said it would take place before technician will be on his way to my house...he showed up at 1pm without any call ahead...What a wasted day off...tried to reach office for ETA since the morning...that was a waste of time as well. These guys has no respect for customers valuable time. I just told him leave my house Ill take my business to somewhere more decent business, if that even exist anymore....

Had severe on vacation with 3 children 5 & under one disabled. Our car had 2 windows broken into. Immediately called for help on Saturday & they stated they could not help us till Wednesday. Needless to say VERY disappointed with their response. Every time I see one of their false commercials I get very angry.
I can not get anybody to answer the phone. The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. They need to answer their phones. Very disappointing. I will never use them again.
I went to this safelite location to have my windshield glass replaced, and I dealt with PEDRO and he was absolutely AMAZING! He ordered my Lexus windshield glass which had to be directly ordered from Lexus, and within one day it was delivered and installed! Im a very happy customer thanks to Pedro!! 😊

DO. NOT. USE. The tech came to my house to fix a small crack from a rock. Explained to me it wasn’t a cosmetic fix but I would seal it. Fine. Came back out and he has made it bigger. The glass had spidered up and down. Told me it was a bad job, I didn’t have to pay and would tell corporate I never picked up my phone. WOW! I called to get someone else out here to fix what he had done. They told me “it’s glass and this can happen” and that I had to pay over $1000 for a new windshield....my car is 2 weeks old. Unacceptable.

DO NOT GET SERVICE FROM THIS SAFELITE BECAUSE THEY WILL RUIN YOUR VEHICLE. I had service completed on my vehicle and they did not congruently place the windshield on the frame of the vehicle. The inside is now molded with a goo-like substance discharging from the space between the windshield and vehicle frame. Horrendous, poor quality, poor value, poor installation, overall poor service; Google should allow you to rate 0 stars because Safelite deserves it. Vehicle is ruined and I’m highly disappointed in Safelite’s service. **Following the response they posted below this initial review, IF the situation is rectified I will happily post an updated review parallel to the service received. If there’s no updated review, the service was not rectified and anyone thinking about service through Safelite should do their best to reconsider and take their finances to an alternative company.
I had a technician coming to my house to replace my windshield. Before I left the car available for him, I had left my Sunpass equipment inside my glove box, on top of several surgical masks that I leave inside my glove box for work. After the service was done, I returned to my car and once I opened my glove box I couldn’t find my Sunpass equipment and several surgical masks were taken (he left only 2 masks). I desperately started to look for my Sunpass and after a couple of minutes I noticed that my Sunpass was placed into a tiny upper compartment (still) inside my glove box, a compartment that I didn’t even know it existed. Their technician was the only person who had access to my vehicle yesterday besides me. Why would he go inside my glove box, move my Sunpass equipment and take my surgical masks? I called the Safelite shop and spoke to the manager and what she did was: she called the technician, asked him if he has gone into my glove box and taken my masks, obviously he denied and the manager told me there was nothing she could do about it. I am a Geico customer and they were the ones who sent Safelite to replace my windshield. I couldn’t be more upset. The technician went into glove box, moved my Sunpass and left only 2 masks so I wouldn’t “notice”. Horrible service, I don’t recommend.

From the friendly customer service over the phone to the detailed and non-intrusive communication after the appointment was scheduled, I was very impressed. The on-site technician was very professional, fitting in line with the rest of the experience. The service truck was very organized and clean. Its not often to see this level of customer service in todays business world. As well, I did not claim my windshield through insurance, and the price was more than fair from Satelite, and priced lower than competitors.

They screwed everything up for my appointment. A 2 hour 11am appointment turned into an after hours 4 hour plus installment .... what a nightmare. The mechanic was nice, but after all the confusion created on their end, I wouldn’t recommend this location for anything. They ordered the wrong part. They didn’t complete the job in the projected time. No communication. Just terrible.

Pedro at Safelite was phenomenal. I had a mishap on the highway the other day where a huge chunk of iron went through my windshield. Took it to Pedro at Safelite around mid afternoon time and got my truck back early the very next morning, less than 24 hours later, no headaches, no fuss, EXCELLENT SERVICE.
The initial phone call was very frustrating as my husband was transferred a couple of times and had to repeat his information, each time. The first option was 8-5 for repair---we asked for a smaller window of service for obvious reasons. Only option was 12-5pm at our office. About 9am the day of the appointment, the technician called and said he was not gonna make it until 5pm, maybe 5:30 pm. Likewise, he asked him to change the location to our home address a few minutes away. We never heard back from the technician until my husband called the technician at 5:38 -- (Lloyd) running late (I guess he didnt plan on calling) and told us it was going to be another 45 minutes. He offered no real apology or specific time that he could definitely arrive by. We had to leave our vehicle at the house unlocked for him for service because we had a family dinner. According to our records-- the service was initiate around 7pm and finished at 8:13. How he was able to see anything in the dark--- I dont know since we have very limited lighting in the front of our home. Razor blades were left in the car. One of them was used and lying on the floor next to the gas pedal. We didnt receive any follow up calls --about the service, the missed appointment time or if we were happy with the new windshield. The only good thing that I can say---is the windshield was replaced--the experience was disappointing at best.
I am running a business where I have very little time to step away from my store. Working with Safelite AutoGlass was wonderful. I placed the order to repair my windshield online and was able to schedule a time to have it repaired. I only had to step away from my store for 5 minutes to meet the technician in my parking lot and to sign the ticket. All went well and was completed within 15-20 minutes. Happy customer here.
I would definitely recommend Safelite to anyone looking for a glass / windshield replacement. They were very professional providing timely updates on the glass shipment since an after market part was not eligible for my car and scheduling me for an appointment immediately. Pedro was the technician who worked on the repairs and he did an excellent job.
Windshield works fine! Rain sensor not OK. Wipers do not work properly since new windshield.Can not contact Safelight where the repair was performed as they either don’t answer or they hang up when there is a problem.Customer service sucks.

Went to perform a windshield replacement, granted initially there was a lot of issues within geico and safelite ordering the proper part and getting everything put on, I had to return 4+ times to get my car finished. they had an issue re-calibrating. So why the 5 stars? Because throughout the whole process the staff did their best to get me the proper windshield and provided me direct contact in case I needed help. Pedro the technician gave me transparency throughout even when they messed up. Mr.Pardie (store manager) Assisted me in getting the car re-calibrated in what almost seemed like an impossible situation, he went far and beyond his duties to keep a customer satisfied. Great place to have your windshield repaired/replaced. Was able to setup an appointment and dropped off the vehicle for the work. They ordered an Uber to take me to work and another Uber once the work was completed. Pedro was amazing: very professional, helpful and responsive. He kept me on the loop at all times regarding the job progress. His work was flawless not just by replacing the windshield but also calibrating the FCW camera per factory specifications. There is a waiting area in case you want to stay, has coffee/tea/water and TV plus car magazines to read while you wait. Highly recommended.

I assume the replacement glass is fine and the work was done right. But, my experience was piss poor.I opted to go to a shop because I needed the car the next day for a long trip. Little did I know that the shop closest to me is so badly sited and mismanaged that this was a major mistake. I would recommend that no one ever take their vehicle to this particular shop.The parking area is so small that my friend who followed me to give me a ride had to park at the fast food restaurant next door.When my friend gave me a ride back to the shop later to pick up the car we found that the shop was apparently closed already. There were three mobile installation vans and a pickup truck parked side-by-side across the entrance to the shop lot at the edge of the sidewalk blocking all access. That’s one of the common ways that many auto shops barricade themselves off for the night so I assumed it was closed. (The dark glass on the building and the bright daylight outside made it impossible to see in from the street.) The shop is along a busy main street with no parking so it was impossible to stop on the street to check the door or peer into the windows.I immediately called the phone number I had from the appointment to see what was going on. With all the automated menus followed by several minutes of no answer and trying a second time with the same experience I finally spoke to a person. By this time I was back home and needed another ride to the shop.The person who eventually answered the phone was NOT at the shop my car was in, but at another shop 20 or so miles away. She said shot was still open but when I told her we had just driven by and found it barricaded she put me on hold to call the right shop.The manager of the shop working on my car came on the line and told me that’s the only place the installations vans can park when they come back to the shop with the day’s receipts. He was not at all apologetic or caring that this decision effectively closed his shop early. It was just because the lot was so small. Let me suggest that there are other options besides barricading the entrance so customers cannot pick up their cars. Maybe his vans can park next door instead of forcing customers to do so.I got another ride back to the shop before it was truly closed and waited a short while until a technician came to tell me the car was ready. I asked if I could check it and he led me into the shop where it was ready to drive out. After asking about the glass work I asked about the wiper blades that were part of the order. Oops. I guess he didn’t think that a final check of what was on the order was part of his job. And he didn’t ask if I wanted the old blades.In the end I paid with my card and the technician entered it into his phone. I asked for a receipt – a paper receipt – and the refused and said that everything is paperless now and that a receipt was emailed to me. I have three reactions to that 1- I think that refusing a receipt is a violation of the credit card agreement, but I’m no lawyer so I’ll skip that; 2 – the shop is not paperless, I saw the clerk/receptionist print out 10-20 pages in response to a request from a tech and the tech kept 3 sheets of printout and put the rest of them in the recycle/shred bin next to the printer; and 3: here’s what I get when I follow the link in the email to get my receipt, even after several tries[ picture of page saying Error - This site cant be reached.]So, I will let as many people as possible know of my Safelite experience. But, I know you don’t really care. I’m one person and you are not customer-centric in any way that I can tell. And, your social reputation isn’t important since you get the vast majority of your business from insurance referrals. (And, they no doubt get kickbacks.)If I ever use Safelite again, it will be at a different shop.
If I could leave 0 stars I would! This company has no respect for people or their time! I set an appointment online and rearranged my weekend to have my windshield replaced. I called in the day before my appointment to confirm and see if there was an out of pocket cost. After sitting on hold for 20 minutes my appointment was confirmed with an employee. When I arrive for my appointment the following day I’m told that they don’t have my windshield! I didn’t receive one phone call to reschedule or update me. Again, this is a process that required planning and I planned appropriately to drive 30 minutes to this location. I’ll be going elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. Oh yea, I’ve been sitting in the waiting room for 30 min waiting to speak to a manager while I’m writing this review.
👍👍👍👍👍 Wow I had the most amazing experience I took my car in to replace the wind shield and they had it done real fast. They were fast and efficient and best of all they had the product in stock ahead of time. The service guy was really polite friendly and clearly great at his job. I would recommend anyone who need to replace their wind shield to go hear you wont be disappointed.

I had my rear window replaced by Safelite Mobile repair. I wasnt sure how this was going to work out but was completely surprised by the outcome. First, the repair person arrived early which made me very happy. From the first introduction I was impressed with my repair agent, Katelyn R, who informed me about the process. She did exactly as she said she would and the end results were great! I was extremely pleased with the work and professionalism. Window repaired in estimated time and all broken glass gone. So pleased and happy with the results. I would recommend to anyone.
These guys are great! Took my car to replace the windshield rubber after another location did a very bad job at installing a windshield and rubber. They did an amazing job and didnt charge me anything to fix another locations mistake. I left a very happy customer.
