Excellent bagels, crispy on the outside and very light on the inside. I had the salmon cream cheese that had a good amount of salmon. The only reason for the missing star is the coffee. The house blend was a little on the bitter side, probably needs a fresh pot.

This is my 1st time coming to this place I ordered a Cuban sandwich and this is what I got. It taste like the meat is expired and I almost wanted to throw up. Not to mention while I was in line I witness the employee take a old container of honey from under the counter with the cap missing . The girl then mixed the honey with the butter to make as a spread for the bagel for another customer. Beware do not eat from this place ever the owner even refused to give me back my refund. I will never come back to this place and the health department should pay them a visit because it’s unsanitary there.

Repeated my order 4 times at the cash register. The girl was not listening. Bagels are the best. Stopped going as often as I use to. The place is clean and the bagels are great. Make sure you get your food order repeated back to you and check it before you leave. There is no such thing as perfection. But there are ways to make it right before you get upset. Wear your mask and stay safe and be well. I recommend just on the quality of food and cleanlyness.

Just left the bagel shop and I hate to say it, but I was disappointed. The service was terrible and their systems are all wrong! It’s sad because with a little effort, based on the fact that the bagels are pretty good, this place could be worth the effort. The help needs training…no customer service skills whatsoever. My next bagel trip will be to Chesapeake!

First time and last time, all coffee options were out. Somehow the bagel sandwiches had no flavor, very bland. Bagels seemed to be sitting out for days then toasted, because they were hard. There are plenty other bagel places around that are way better. Dont waste your money.

The food is great but delivery is ridiculous, over 2 hours for an address 5 minutes away and over an hour this time. Really not happy with this service. When I called each time a lady answered saying the food would be here in 5 minutes. I didn’t even provide my name or number for her to know my order. The food can be fantastic but if your service is trash then your business is trash too. Feel sad to be saying this because I’ve been eating there for years but the quality is really going down bad.

I really wanted to like this place because I like their bagels… but I got a completely incorrect order, and couldn’t even eat it. I ordered and egg and cheese croissant, hash browns, and a bagel with cream cheese. I got an egg and bacon on a bagel, the same kind of bagel I ordered separately. I was charged for the full order. I confirmed my name when I picked up and announced that it was a door dash order. She just gave me someone else’s order (she says) and said she never got a door dash order when I called back to tell her it was wrong. Like what do you mean? I paid. You guys are on door dash. How does this happen? I called 10 mins later. How was this mistake not caught before I left? I added a coffee as well when I got there and literally said “it wasn’t an option in DoorDash.” It was the only order sitting there, I gave my name and I attempted to show her my doordash order on my phone but she wasn’t listening. I don’t even eat bacon, and the grease was on everything so I couldn’t eat it. I not only paid but went out of my way to get this this morning and now I have no breakfast. And when I called to tell her I got a wrong order I didn’t get any offer to make it right whatsoever, she literally just said, well what can you do? I’m honestly not even sure she understood or cared what I was saying at all.

I should’ve listened to the reviews about this place giving the completely wrong orders. Here’s a tip, ask the customer if they want cream or sugar in their coffee instead of giving them a black coffee. Also, repeat a customers order back to them so they can tell you if you ordered them something other than what they asked for. I’m not even sure if the terrible service is deliberate or if the people making the food are not verifying what the customer ordered. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you want to do their job and check what they made you prior to leaving every single time.

Girl taking our order was rude and unfriendly. Place was not busy. She was eating her own food when making our food. Omelette was over cooked, potatoes were undercooked, sandwich has very little flavor and the French toast had a strange taste to it. First time trying it and will be the last.

While I enjoy the fresh bagels and delicious coffee/ different flavors, I just seat and keep eye on my dog that is waiting for me outside.....could be nice that now that they improving the commun areas, places like this ones could be allow to put tables,umbrellas outside I will feel like I am in Europa,besides could be safer....healthy safer....

I have had 3 bad experiences there after not going there for a year I called in my order before going to work. I opened my food to my surprise my home fries were burned. The staff are not polite when I went in to pick up my food they didn’t greet me. They offered a credit on my next order for home fries being burned but I told them there will not be a next time..

Why even show that you’re available on delivery apps if you’re going to cancel the order... and why even be on the app if you don’t take orders 90% of the time..

I have ordered from Boston Bagel quite a few times and today I was so disappointed. They screwed up my order and my coworkers order. Two separate orders came in incorrect on the same day. My Boston Common Reuben was 2 slices of bread w/ a big piece of corned beef and a few onions. Nothing like how I have ordered it before. When I called the lady said because I didnt order it toasted. What does that have to do w/ how a Boston Common Reuben is supposed to be prepared? I couldve made it myself. I basically did not get for what I paid for. Toasted or not toasted make the sandwich how its supposed to be. She did not apologize, nor offer to remake it properly not even a discount on my next order.

Excellent! The food was great and the service. Real modern place with new up-to-date point of sale system. I didnt use contactless but the place can definitely except it and this is a plus compared to more antiquated systems that wouldnt accept apple or Google pay etc. I have had that issue before so its worth mention imo. Also the food was great as stated earlier and from the traffic I saw while there it shows the place is good. Also they have good traditional deli options and local Latin ones as well!👏👏👏

This place used to be awesome. There was a younger guy behind the counter who ran the place with his wife. I wouldnt be there super often as it was out of the way, but hed remember my name and order even though they were always busy. The last time I went was a couple of months ago, and the guy and his wife were gone. I though, perhaps its a fluke? Maybe they are on vacation. The food wasnt nearly as good. Today I went and the bagels we no longer in the case, now they are in open basket things on the wall. They had some sweets that looked amazing, but thats not what I was there for. The phone would ring and the staff would pick it up, ask for the caller to hold and in the ten minutes I was there, I never saw them pick the call back up. It took a long time for my food (an everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese) to come out and the coffee (what used to be a delicious concoction of chocolate macadamia nut) was burnt and yucky. What a bummer, this place was awesome. Wont be back.

Sloooooow! 25 minutes for a bagel

This place is right out of central casting. Trust me, when you roll into this place, look around, youve arrived. Not clear why it is called Boston Bagels cuz these puppies are NYC all the way. I mean just excellent, off the charts good, like NYC bagels are supposed to be. Menu has all the classics of a NYC deli and, well, its amazing, go there. Go early, tons of locals make this the morning coffee place. Recommended.

Terrible service I walked in grabbed a menu two couples walked in followed by another gentleman one went directly to counter while other couple wondered around looking at stuff the first couple finished ordering I hopped behind them before they finished. they finished then the other couple comes out of no where and just skips me. Then another customer comes in and hops behind them and I have to basically force my way in between them to get my order taken. 2 POS systems only one person working the register taking orders then I asked for a big papi on a everything bagel with no syrup. Little did I know there was powdered sugar on it. This was not clarified in the menu where the item is listed it also came out with the syrup that I did not want so someone isnt reading tickets now Im sorry to say the sandwich was okay the only part I didnt like was the sausage which had a microwave consistency and taste not sure if I will be returning when the girl brought me the food the second time after I brought it back the had an attitude and told me next time say you dont want powdered sugar I said okay, and again the syrup was on my tray. I said to her I asked for no syrup. she told me well it wasnt on my ticket immediately got turned off to this place was. Going to ask for refund but didnt think I was going to get a good result because all the staff seemed to be unprofessional and didnt want to make a scene.

I have been to Boston Bagel several times due to convenience, not because they are a great bagel shop. It is hit or miss if they get your order right or if the food even taste good . This being said, I tend to just get a bagel and cream cheese. A bagel is hard to mess up right? Wrong? This is the second time they have given me a BURNT bagel because I asked for the bagel to be toasted good. As another reviewer stated they usually under toast their bagels. I got home today and opened up the bagel and it was literally burnt. You could not even see the seeds on my everything bagel. I was so upset that this happened again, so I called the shop to let them know. The young lady who is always a the register was so rude and unhelpful. She said what do you want me to do about it? I said why would anyone wrap up a burnt bagel? She rudely responded,I dont see what the kitchen is doing and you asked for the bagel to be toasted. I said I just wanted a bagel that was not under cooked, which I say everytime. I will never go to this bagel shop again. Staff was rude on several occasions and bagel shop always looks dirty.

Food is amazing. However the owner knows this and doesnt care to train his staff on how to treat a customer or how to even fulfill orders made. There have been countless times where Ive called in and my order was never put in. Or Ill call in and be left on hold for 10 minutes because they forgot they left me on hold.This morning I called in and was told they didnt have a number of bagels so I placed an order anyways..came in 10 minutes later to find out they had all their bagels available but my order was not even made. Late for work, no breakfast.Cluelessness, braindead staff!!!Call twice to make sure your order is being made. Check you food when you order too!

Excellent Bagels, coffee is good too, everything I tried today was fresh, the staff is very polite and willing to provide great customer satisfaction. fair prices. Its an old stablisment but is very clean. I had the meat and egg sandwich in a onion bagel. And I have to say it was my best bagel so far.

Great bagels however slightly overpriced. I guess youre paying for environment more than food quality. Ive had similar or better tasting bagels at a more reasonable price at other locations. Nevertheless, the food and service is good and the environment is comfortable in pleasing.

We were excited for a good bagel and cooked eggs! That’s not what we got. The food is served on styrofoam with plastic utensils. We asked for eggs scrambled soft and they were really greasy and over cooked. The bagel was barely toasted, they got one of our two orders wrong, and the service staff wasn’t particularly friendly. Even the bagel, at the end of it all, was nothing special. Would never go back here.

I used to love this place. It was owned by a guy from Boston, where Im from. Food was awesome. Hes gone now...new owners. Food and coffee is still very good, but the service is horribly slow. You go in there and theres like 6 girls working and they all seem to be busy doing anything but helping people. They are nice enough, but slow and inefficient. I love the food but the service is consistently mediocre every time I go.

Okay food thats over priced with no napkins and rude service.My usual breakfast place, Korner Cafe was closed for Presidents Day. Needing a delivery I called Boston Bagel. Id eaten here once before and while not impressed i wasnt disappointed so I gave them a shot.Im the easiest guy to please. I litterally said, I dont care what you bring me or what it costs, I just want breakfast. She kept telling me to go to her website to look at the menu instead of just sending me whatever. I tried to explain I dont have time for menus or care what I eat so long as I eat. She hung up on me sosI called back and spoke to a guy. He was cool with Bring me whatever just tell me how much.When the food got here there were no napkins. I also noticed that if you want cream cheese with your bagel thats an extra charge. Also they charge for delivery.In conclusion Ill never order from them again except as a last emergency resort. Korner Cafe has better food, better service, better prices, and free delivery. For $10 at Korner Cafe that coverscthe tip and you get a huge omelette with cheese and vegetables, bacon, and bagel with cream cheese.

I called Boston bagel to place an order for pickup. A man picked up the phone which I believe is the manager. I gave him my order and he then asked if I would like anything else, i replied no, thanks. He did simply hung up without saying another word. Extremely bad customer service, I should of canceled my order, however I was hungry.

Disappointing. Breakfast took 1.5 hours to arrive, even though they are located very close to my office and it was completely cold. I understand things get busy sometimes, but when it takes this long to deliver food, I expect a warning at the very least.

Been coming here for many many years, and very disappointed that they are ALWAYS out of stock on croissants. Once in a while is understandable, but five times in a row really? Never going back.

The Quincy bagel was really good. However, it took 2 hours for my food to arrive. I asked for the bagel to be toasted, was never toasted. The cold slaw was horrible.

Horrible horrible horrible! I waited 2 hours after they brought me the wrong coffee. When I called to find out where my correct order was they threaten not refund my money! Rude customer service as well. As a business owner and a manager of retail, I would never treat my customers this way.
