We took our 1988 26 center console to MMSoA for a complete deck and stringer restoration, I considered it a pretty serious job and was worried about picking the right people to do the job... The job involved removing and replacing the rotted deck/stringers, designing and installing a new 170Gal gas tank, installing several upgrades, re-rigging and re-wiring everything throughout. Ive added a few pictures at different stages of the project.Today we are back on the water and she is solid as a rock, but it floats and rides a little better :) ... To say we picked the right place is an understatement, these guys were excellent to work with and I really cant even begin to tell you how satisfied with the work did for us. They are a top notch group of professionals, who really love what they do and care about the quality of work the put out. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation and they have a customer for life. Thanks again Chris K. and Chris B. at MMSoA!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE!I spoke to both managers (Chris and Chris) and I had a pretty good feeling that they were going to work on my Yamaha 300 HPDI. They seemed knowledgeable. 2 weeks in and I didnt here from them at all. After a few phone calls and several text message, I kept getting the same excuse...Its been raining. After 3 weeks in, I got a text that only stated it all checked out. After ONE MONTH, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE ON MY BOAT! I took my boat and went straight over to another mechanic. I got a diagnosis that same day. Unfortunately for me the diagnosis was not good...but certainly was not what Chris said in the text. I wasted an entire month.I had boats all my life and dealt with many mechanics... this by far has been the worst experience. Do your research and read these reviews. These guys aint worth the frustration.

Chris and his team did an awsome job on my boat those guys actually seem like they love what they do and take pride in their work. Have you ever heard the statement you get what you pay for? Well you are defiantly paying for quality and experience with Chris and his team. I would not bring my boat to anyone else!!

I recently brought my flats boat to MMSOA to have the engine looked at because it would cut out at full throttle. Chris, the owner spoke to me directly and diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within the week. These guys have some great customer service and kept me informed throughout the process. I highly recommend using MMSOA!

Mobile Marine Services Of America is not the boat repair shop you might think it is. I learned the hard way, dealing with them, ignoring reviews. These people are aiming for customers with deep pockets. They do not want to fix used engines, they want to replace your engine or parts for new ones so they can make big money. Have them give you estimates in writing before. Chris the owner, gave me a verbal estimate, then when he handed over the bill, the charge was more than double of the original verbal estimate. Chris did work on my engine and charge me for it without getting my approval first. Chris violated Florida statute 559.905 that states that shop must render a written estimate and have it signed by customer before executing any kind of work or repair in the unit. These people state that they are Mercuiser dealer, they should play by the rules if they represent Mercruiser. Their address is 19606 SW 69th Pl Pembroke Pines FL 33331 and they also go by South Florida Boat Center. Stay away from them, if you do not want to be ripped. off. Note that there is another person named Chris in the shop, the manager, he is a nice guy.

I have been doing small private charters most of my adult have owned many boats of all sizes which means have had to deal with many so called marine mechanics in my 69 years and I have never found ANYONE better than those guys at MMSA as a matter of fact Chris the owner found a problem with my Hewes that had been going on for years and had many marine repair people scratching their heads and did it just by my description and was less than a 25 dollar repair AND just as a bonus ANYTHING you may need to know about any kind of fishing they got the hook on that to in other words these guys are fishing maniacs. So if you want your boat fixed the right way take it to MMSA. Thank you Capt. Bob Dykes
