On the Fourth of July our boat broke down on the New River. Once we were safe we contacted SeaTow. They dispatched a captain. He stayed in contact with us until he arrived on scene. He was very professional, knew what he was doing and got us back to our home dock safely. We are very happy with the service and plan on being a Sea Tow member for a long time.Captain Danny

Boat stalled out in Dania Beach. Dropped anchor and called SeaTow. Very knowledgeable receptionist made sure everyone on board was safe, then started the process of finding my location and connecting me with the closest tow boat. Captain Sarah called less than 5 minutes later to confirm my location, again make sure everyone was safe, then gave an approximate ETA to me.She helped me try to jump it, didnt work, then proceeded to tow me home. Overall awesome experience given that my boat was broken but super happy to have them on my side.If you own a boat and do any boating regardless of age of vessel or condition...get a Sea Tow Membership!

I called the central office and they gave me the number of Miami, there they gave me the number of Fort Lauderdale and there the number of West Palm Beach, all in an emergency, the operator told me I had a 2 hour wait, a family boat to me helped.

I left the boat yard after having a new transmission installed on my 32ft boat with twin inboard engines.Because of all of the recent rain the current in the new river in Ft. Lauderdale was running strong.Upon approaching the Davie Boulevard Bridge I lost I lost shifting ability on the port engine. I also lost rudder control.I was able to clear the bridge without incident.I contacted Sea Tow and they had someone there in less than an hour. Captain Greg towed me back to the marina, only to discover that the port shaft had snapped. The prop slid back and blocked movement of the rudder.Captain Greg was very professional.Sea Tow made a very bad situation so much better.

I have been a member of Sea Tow for several years now and last night my son and his friends were in need of assistance. Captain Christian assisted. Not only was he a Captain of integrity and character, he went above and beyond keeping everyone informed of the events and the safe recovery. If you are a boater and you do alot of boating, you will, at some point find yourself in a mayday situation. Its inevitable. So after 13 years of boating here in South Florida, I had just that. The 37ft Intrepid I was on started taking on water and one of the 2 bilges failed. Once we realized what was happening, I immediately went full throttle and headed to the beach. We had taken in quite alot of water and full throttle was slow at best. I couldnt see over the bow so I sent a spotter to guide me. And the mayday call was made. At that time, unknown to me, SeaTow received my call, notified BSO Marine patrol and the life guards to look for me and make the beach safe. We made it to the beach. Capt. Christian responded to our location. His clear and concise communications was very reassuring. His action where commendable. Now we where in a salvage situation and as many of you may know, those charges can be astronomical. Many people loose the boat as a result of piracy legalized under Maritime law under the title of SALVAGE. when everthing settled, Sea Tow, once again did the right thing. The pricing was fare and I line with the services provided. The boat has been repaired and we are back on the water. Yes, we are Sea Tow members. Have been for a very long time and will continue to be for as long as we continue to be boaters.

Capt. Christian saved the moral for everyone on my 23ft mako tonight. He did an excellent through the whole tow and a exceptional job towing my boat in thru the inlet . He is a very knowledgeable capt. We got to the boat ramp and he jumped on and noticed them problem instantly and fixed it. THANK YOU CAPT CHRISTIAN

SEA TOW: I have been a member of your company for many years. I had engine problems on July 29th 2020 at about 2AM just south of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. Although my engine would start it would not go into gear. I had to call you, and a very nice lady cheerfully answered my phone call at 2am, she immediately obtained my GPS coordinates, boat description, name & problem (very efficient). She advised me she would immediately dispatch a captain to tow me in. A very short time later she sent me a text advising Captain Jacob R was on the way. After that Captain Jacob called my cell directly to let me know he was on the way and gave me a couple things to try to get the engine to go into gear- no luck. Captain Jacob arrived and really showed his skills, he hooked the tow line up quickly cleated us off and towed us in. This was opening day of mini-lobster season, so he had to navigate all the dive vessels, while towing us in. He got us to the dock quickly and safely, and even was able to go alongside my trailer and he helped us get the boat on trailer and out of the water. My friend and I were amazed at the skills of this captain. Even though it was 3 o’clock in the morning he was still polite and professional with us. I just wanted to let you know what an awesome employee you have with Captain Jacob R. He made a horrible situation actually enjoyable and got us back to the dock quickly. He let me know that being a Sea Tow member, I saved $ 437.00 which I would have had to pay if I had not joined Sea Tow. All I had to do was sign the ticket and that was it. Very efficient system in place. I learned the next day that my power pack was bad and had to be replaced. So the $437.00 that I saved went directly to getting a new power pack installed!!! Thanks again for the assist, you have a very professional organization, and I appreciate you guys!Rick S

Please do not deal with this company! They have no concern for you or your familys saftey. Their only concern is money. Please do yourself a big favor and use Towboatus. They rescued my my family and my boat without hesitation.To respond to your ridiculous response. Of course now people can really see how rude you are. My wife had joined Seatow before we went out to be on the safe side. I had 75 miles of offshore towing under my insurance so I wasnt concerned. The issue accured with being over 40 miles out so Bimini was the closest land we could reach. When I called I, the rude lady Michelle said since we were new members it wouldnt be covered. She said the boat hadnt been deemed a seaworthy vessel. I said you didnt mind taking our money without an inspection. We had just went on a 100 mile trip the weekend prior so she was definitely sea worthy. Nevertheless the rate changed twice on me over the course of a couple days and once insurance finally got their ducks in a row you guys said maybe some time next week. I explained my family and I had no where to go and were desperate. Michelle with almost laughter said sorry. So I called Towboatus and they were so kind and did not hesitate. Even though they said the seas were bad they would just use the big boat and get us home. They communicated with us during the entire tow to make sure we were ok.Now how ridiculous is it for you to claim fraud? That shows what ethics you have. You claim you have over 5,000 happy customers. You certainly have some but you also have many that arent. I have heard many stories since my encounter and read several negative reviews on different sites. Maybe you were once a family owned business with values but you have lost your way. The idea is to help folks not down talk them and only do things if its convenient for you.

Never go boating without a SeaTow membership. Great customer service, very friendly, and the fastest response time with professional Captains and staff. I went with SeaTow because youll always see them on the water. If you use them once in 5 years, the membership pays for itself and you never know when youll need them.

There are not enough stars to give this amazing company. I HIGHLY recommend Sea Tow Fort Lauderdale. They are a phenomenal company with an incredibly helpful staff. This past weekend, we rented a boat to celebrate my birthday and the initial rental failed, so they replaced it with a second, faulty rental that also failed. However, this second boat failure was in the Hillsboro inlet during heavy boating traffic and a very strong current. The current and winds caused our boat to be pinned against the jetty and Captain Greg Mallek spotted us and came over right away to assist us. Without hesitation, he towed this rental boat to safety (FREE OF CHARGE) so that we could anchor and wait for the rental company to send their mechanic again. While a few passengers were injured during this ordeal, had it not been for Captain Mallek, we all couldve been seriously injured. Thank you, Sea Tow for having such an outstanding crew and thank you, Captain Mallek for your help that day.
