This store is amazing! Perfect dry aged meats, and i cant stress enough how great and consistent the quality is. Custom cuts. One stop shop for dinner or any other meal. You dont eat meat? No problem. There is plenty of fresh local produce, fish, poultry, soups, cheeses, pastas etc. Even perfect desserts are sold here. With this store eating at home couldnt get better. Highly recommend.

I just moved around the corner and saw this beautiful big butcher place. So i ran inside since its always a good time to buy Ribeyes steaks. Well, its a bit price relatively for all the big chains supermarkets. But it is worth that if you can afford the extra price. We got to ribeye stakes and big beautiful piece of sea bass. The steaks was really goods and taste really great. Customer service was good and they was patient to answer all my questions. The second i entered the place, one of the guy approach me and explain me about everything! They also able to order you anything you want, within a day or two. They are age drying the meat in place and even have a kobe cow from japan! Generally i will recommend that place if you want something good and willing to pay the price for it. Definitely worth that. They also have diff products for grilling and they have sea food, awesome cakes and special cheese!

Great experience.. Great customer service, amazing cuts of meat and homemade sides, plenty of different options. My husband and I love this place! We had a bit of user error when we bought our steaks but Becky the store manager replaced them for us for free. They have gained customers for life. Everything we buy we are just amazed at how good and fresh everything is. Thank you!!!

Place is nice new and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. I work on a vessel so we thought it would be nice to try this place. A lot going on in there.... I’m going to stick with Smitty’s butcher, tried and true. Good luck to these guys. I will skip it the next time. Prices are thru the roof... good luck

Living so close to a wonderful butcher shop is awesome. You can find everything at A Cut Above; top notch beef, high quality fish and fresh desserts! Not to mention the knowledgeable staff, they know their stuff. Can’t wait to try more of their food and seasonings. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Well be back! This place is awesome if you can spend a little extra (it’s so worth it). We ordered some wagyu beef, clams and some of the mini key lime pies. All of it was wonderful! They have prepared foods, a small grocery section to compliment the meats and seafood they offer and they have desserts. Definitely a one stop shop for a gourmet meal.

This is my first visit so I have yet to taste my purchases. Their selection was interesting and high quality. Store layout and parking very good. Nice staff too so this place appears to be a good find!

Welcoming this great new specialty shop to the growing ft Lauderdale shops in that area.They have a good selection of quality meat products and some cakes and baked goods. everything is really quality, so it does cost some.A really good place to go to if you want to stock up your boat on quality meat and provisions.looking forward to shopping here and seeing the place grow

What a spectacular store in Rio Vista. Went here to provision the boat and they provided excellent service. The Chef was delighted with the fresh bread selection, incredible steaks, and unique additions. Would highly recommend for finding great food in the Fort Lauderdale area.

This place is a one stop shop for all your gourmet cooking needs, not just meat and seafood. I was blown away at their selections. And the cheesecake was to die for!Everything was so clean with an ambiance of an old school butcher shop.

Do not shop at A Cut Above, you will be swindled and lied to. I went to A Cut Above today. I purchased $95 a pound kobe tenderloin. It was the nicest they had in the store. Butcher claims the meat was a5-11. When I was checking out the guy told me to post it online, so I did. Upon posting in my Facebook meat group, I was made aware that the meat I bought was certainly not anything close to a5 and was told to go back and ask for the certificates.

Amazing new all around butcher restaurant spent an hour looking around prime teams, veal, seafood, prepared meals and holy guacamole..fresh bacon, and had homemade wedding soup..run to asap

I tried a dry aged bone in rib eye steak. It was very good. Nice marbleing and fragrent dry aged taste. The steak deserves 5 stars. But, it was very expensive compared to Whole Foods prime dry aged steaks. Twice the price and had to pay for the weight of the bone too. Whole foods is without bone. I am guessing the steak origin and aging may be superior. But, I could not detect much difference in taste, texture or tenderness. Hence the 3 stars due to high priceApril 2022 update.... Picked up some Wagu rib eyes from Australia. Delicious and very tender. Try em!.

Had a brisket sandwich today. Was incredibly greasy//fatty. Threw most of it in the trash, and went and grabbed lunch somewhere else. They just opened, so probably just going through Opening PainsThey do have a great selection of Steaks (Waygu, A-5, Etc.)

My wife and I are addicted to this place. As a local, this place is exactly what Fort Lauderdale was missing. You can not find these type of high quality meats and seafood at any restaurant in town.
