What a wonderful chocolate afternoon was spent at the Schakolad Chocolate Factory. Our group of 14 enjoyed the history of Chocolate presented by Master Chocolatier Bernie which was followed by a delicious slightly spicy chocolate drink. We made chocolate pizza, assembled a chocolate house, dipped pretzel sticks, rice crispy treats, cookies and other delicious confections. A great time was had by all. I highly recommend the Chocolate Factory for a delicious chocolate time.

Great place to visit. This place is run by a couple. Both are very welcome and caring ❤.They have a great variety of chocolate and some creative ones that are too cute to eat 😍. Get your self a box and make your own selection, mixe as many as you like (18 small ones for $20) try their hot chocolate. Tasted real good. Definitely recommend this place.

I went here while on vacation and what a vast selection of specialty chocolates!!! The shop owners are so welcoming and nice. There selection of ice cream is also great. Conveniently located near our hotel and other hotels. If you are in the Fort Lauderdale beach area, be sure to stop by Shakolad Chocolate Factory.

Schakolad is a wonderful privately owned business with some of the most wonderful gourmet chocolates. The owners came and did a wine and chocolates tasting for my business to raise money for Alzheimers disease. It was very well done and Bernie is so knowledgeable and helped explain the various chocolates .

This chocolate store is a local Ft. Lauderdale treasure!Ive had multiple kind, delicious, pleasurable and timely experiences here!Recently I went in at closing time needing several custom chocolates for the next day. They were completed within an hour of them opening the next day! The owners and staff are very kind and courteous. You can tell they put love and care into everything they make, create, and serve! Walked into the place and first thing was a Welcome from the staff. The smell was heavenly and the taste was even better. Most definitely I will be back. The taste of the dark was amazing.

The ice cream and desserts are good. However the man working in there (did not get his name) was extremely rude. We were sampling some of the ice creams with the little spoons they have for samples and after 3 or 4 samples he cut us off saying we couldn’t sample any more because he was “giving too much away”. I explained that those little spoons was for sampling and we fully intended on buying ice creams from him but he still said no very rudely. Needless to say we left without buying anything. I have been there before when a sweet older lady was working and everything was fine. However this man should not be working in customer service.

One of my favorite places in Fort Lauderdale! My girlfriend and I come here all the time, the coffee is great and chocolates are delicious! I 100% recommend Schakolad to locals and those traveling in the area. If you are looking for a cozy cafe, stop by, you will not be disappointed!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Chocolate wasn’t even that great AND they had the audacity to yell at us about air conditioning while my mom had heartburn and all they kept saying was “close the door” as I frantically tried to get her her medication before she had an asthma attack. Terrible service. They’re rude and inconsiderate and I’m never coming back here.
