Awesome cafe in up and coming part of Fort Lauderdale! Very-very good design and ambiance.Good for a coffee date, remote work or a good book.Coffee is good too!The entrance is a bit “hidden”. Just look through the glass garage door, when you see wall with writings on it - you are in the right spot. Just walk in.Plenty of street parking is available.Great bathroom!
This probably was a cool place before...But, not now. Everything is super dirty and the place looks like is falling apart. Dust everywhere. A girl asked me 4 times if I want my coffee hot it looks like either she was high or hang over. Coffee was bitter, most likely they dont clean their machines. She forgot the caramel which I mentioned and at noon there is no food left. The photos you see here is not what you will see when you come here. The idea with the books is great but everything is just so old but not antique. Dirty silverware...
This spot has such a great vibe and a welcoming aesthetic, however the bar tender/barista was obviously having a rough day which showed in her attitude. The beer specials from 4-7pm during the week were not available. Overpriced and under-delivered. I REALLY wanted to give 5 stars but the employees attitude was just draining😩. Great wifi!
Came in for the first time a upbeat young lady Greeted me immediately her name is Amanda. this is on a Thursday night so I thought they’ll be too busy to get me drinks which I was thoroughly surprised I got my drinks and had a great conversation. I’ll be back for sure
Wow. What an amazing space. The books, the creative use of reclaimed architecture, an Airstream...wonderful. Had an iced house made chai latte and an orange clove latte, both were yummy and skillfully made. Wish I had time to sample more drinks! Next time I’m in town. Do yourself a favor, and stop in.
Sneaky sneaky cool place for a coffee and to kick back. Make it part of your morning routine
Good coffee. Unfortunately the young lady that took my order was unpleasant. No hello. No smile. Annoyed responses. This should be corrected.
Great ambience. Lowkey cafe with lots of seating and a full production studio next door. Amanda was amazing and even offered a quick tour. Definitely booking the space soon.
Want to feel mistreated and depressed? Come here now!Dark, dirty, and horrible horrible service. Hours on Google maps were incorrect and the amazing employee came walking around with broom on hand reminding us they were closing. About four souls were there and we all looked at each other and talked about the hours being wrong and laughed.Been to funeral homes with better energy.Never... Ever againGo to Coffee House on 3rd Avenue and you wont be disappointed with either the service or the product.
So me and a friend were doing lighting for an event at this location, and man was I surprised. Such a cozy relaxed jazz bar coffee bar sort of vibe. The bartender was beyond awesome very respectful and awesome good sound system. Definitely a fort layderdale treasure top 5 places to visit.
Good coffee spot to sit and read and catch up.
Awesome place, perfect to study or have client meetings. Food is good, coffee is better!
Such a nice spot! The first time here, I read the reviews and the photos invite me to visit them.Once you open the door and walk through the hallway with photographs on the walls give me a great vibes. The bookshelves and decor are so different. I order a cappuccino and was delicious! I love this spot.
Unfortunately this place is not what it used to be anymore, I asked for a white mocha hot latte twice and was given a cold latte, when I asked for the hot latte, she gave me a hot latte without the white mocha, she said in order to add it she would also have to add a extra shot of espresso in it. I ordered 2 Blake’s dream and only after I paid I was told they are out of bacon (second time this happens), tables are al ways dirty and it takes forever for everything.
We really wanted to like this place but they were so understaffed that it made the experience subpar. There were only 2 employees and they were both working very hard and doing their jobs very well but the management should really step their games up and help them so they arent swamped with orders. For $6 our coffees werent high quality, you couldnt taste the espresso at all, just way too milky. The food was average because the 2 people working had to rush. I wouldnt return.
My wife and I’ve been looking for a goto coffee shop for the longest, and it’s safe to say we found it.Went here for the first time to do some remote work and was not disappointed. From the service to the decor, it all around gives such an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a coffee date, studying, remote work, reading, etc. It truly is a hidden gem! 10/10 recommend ☺️
A small cafe with a speak-easy type atmosphere, Brew Urban Cafe was an awesome place to stop for coffee, a bit to eat, and and then getting some work done. The staff was real friendly and more than willing to point you towards drinks youd enjoy. Whether youre a local or a newcomer, definitely stop in and check it out.
This is a gem of a coffee house! reasonable prices. It has an amazing courtyard with loads of charm. What a great place to hang out! I had an iced drink that was so delicious.
Most unique coffee shop Ive ever been to! If coffee were not in everyones hands you wouldnt know it is a coffee shop rather than a retro lounge with books on end, leather couches, and a warm ambience. After 5pm a secret door opens up granting access to a similar style bar. On those not so hot days they open up the garage door letting in some fresh air and sunlight in. If youre looking for a place to mix up your Starbucks habit this is definitely it!
Pleasantly surprised, thought this place was closed, or not where i was supposed to be meeting at first glance, but go thru the door and down the hall and the cafe area has a nice ambiance and relaxed atmosphere with room (and couches) for a few friends to gather
Used to come in here most mornings, its a 5 minute walk from my apartment and I made it a part of my routine. Atmosphere is extremely lovely and I would order a chemex. Last 3 or 4 times Ive been here the barista doesnt even know what a chemex is - despite it being on the menu - and I return directly home empty-handed. This morning I went there and the girl couldnt even pronounce the word chemex. Not sure why the baristas arent being trained on the catalog but it provides an extremely inconsistent experience that isnt worth my time anymore, especially if theres a long line.
In terms of coffee shops this is one of the coolest I have seen. It is part library, part airstream trailer part designer studio - it adds up to a very pleasant experience. Perhaps more importantly the coffee drinks are very good and the staff appear well trained. If you are a coffee aficionado this is the place to go.
One of my favorite coffee spots. Gives off a very good vibe and has great coffee!
Wayyy too loud at noon on a weekday. Why you gotta play the music so loud??? I just wanted to get some studying done. I tried to put on white noise in my headphones and it didn’t do me any justice. The place is decorated with books everywhere but the lighting is too low to actually read. Definitely not practical. Really sucks because I wanted to love this place so bad but honestly it’s all looks... not the best. I am beyond annoyed with this place :(
Id like to start off by saying Im a huge coffee drinker and I look forward to trying coffee from multiple different places to compare the ones I like. I dont usually think every coffee place is good and it takes a decent one to stand out. Brew Urban Cafe was the bees knees, hands down, very good coffee and highly recommended. I typically get an iced mocha latte, and this is my usual that I ordered here. It tasted completely authentic and the service was very quick. Go and check it out!
Theres a very cool feel to this coffee shop. Great service with an immense variety of coffees. The guy that served me was very knowledgeable and passionate about what he did and a pleasure to deal with.
What an excellent coffee house! I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted, since I’m fairly new to coffee. I was recommended to try a Buramundi, which was naturally sweet and delicious. However, it wasn’t the flavor profile I like. It was more fruity and “bright” than I prefer. I let him know what I thought of it, and he suggested I try one from Brazil. He explained the difference between the way they’re processed, and I now know that I prefer a natural process as opposed to washed. What a difference between them! The place has a steady flow of customers, and quite a few are obviously regulars. :-)
Great atmosphere, nice staff, BUT the coffee is terrible. Like, really bad. I got a cappuccino the other day and it was unrecognizable. :/ i got a flat white a few weeks ago, same. If it weren’t for that, I’d be there every day. Maybe a refresher course on how to use the machine could be good-I really don’t say this to be mean- the place really has the vibe to be fantastic, just needs some work on the product.
Quality of coffee and food dropped since the last time Ive been here. The flat white was not how should be. Seems like the baristas needs some training...
Online it says they open at 7. It’s 8:30. I’m here they are not open. She said she is just now opening and that was that. Didn’t offer anything understanding nor apologies at all. Needless to say I won’t be back.
What a fantastic ambiance! This place is dark academia personified, except with delish coffee and baked goodies. I went a little later in the day, so the selection of pastries was a little bit smaller, but the vibes totally made up for that! I would def recommend for a long day of working on your laptop in this cozy setting, or perching up in the corner with a good book.
This coffee shop is located near our workplace. I love their coffees fragrance, and the taste was well balanced with the coffee beans sweetness and bitterness. Just try them, people!
Was there for a private event. Great bartender, cool vibe. Cant wait to go back
Good Ambience. Was very impressed.Tried the Cortada (1st time) was good. Also tried the electric shock. It was a bit cinnamony in taste but thats okay.
What a great ambiance! Visit this place for a great selection of coffe and teas, which you can enjoy regardless of how the weather looks outside. Ask for Demurs Fine Teas for the ultimate experience in organic loose leaf tea
Great coffee and vibes you can jive to. I discovered it while at the ArtWalk, the last Saturday of every month
Super friendly staff! Beautiful ambience, do yourself a favor and just go to Brew next door
This is my favorite coffee shop in Ft. Lauderdale. I love the chill vibe. Its very laid back and a great place to grab a drink and a pastry and just hasnt out with a friend. It backs onto railroad tracks and they open then back door which shows the trains going by and lets in a nice breeze. Definitely worth a stop.
Coffee: Nothing specialCouches: comfyVibe: warm and cozy
The coffee was really great and tasty. I love the environment and decorations, the music was nice as well. They did have limited options and stock for pastries later in the day around 12pm so I wouldn’t depend on eating brunch
Quirky yet great atmosphere and a primo almond milk latte!
This place is amazing, highly recommend
This place is such an amazing gem!! Great coffee, esspresso, tea, and delicious breakfast items in a picture perfect atmosphere. Whoever put together this concept is on point. No joke. Located in an art-oriented strip of suites along the railroad tracks, youll find this gem through Next Door (suite b).Ordered the house-made lavender oat milk latte, and herbal tea paired with a freshly toasted croissant. Stayed a while as we were burning time between getting off our cruise ship and waiting for our flight. Ambiance 1,000 xs beats out FLL-Hollywood airport, hands down. Also ordered late breakfast/lunch (brunch): avocado toast and their ACE sandwhich... avocado, cheese, and egg with specialty seasoning on fresh, thick sourdough bread. Mmmmmmm. (Sorry no pics, it was too delicious!)Looks like they do open mic nights/poetry slams/small film screenings/etc as they had a small stage and projectors.
Loved the barista. So friendly. Best Coffee in Fort Lauderdale, hands down.
I tried the Wild Flower Latte Iced. Amazing.
Loved this place! Delicious fresh pastries, amazing signature coffee. Recommend
I came with my friend to this coffee shop to have some nice coffee and just talk, but as soon as we arrived the whole experience was just awful. First of all this place is so difficult to find since it is in a studio that is not called the name of the coffee shop. Second when we finally found it and entered we walked up to the counter and everyone working there just ignored us and did not even welcome us or took our order. We stood there for like two whole minutes just confused and eventually just left. Just weird vibes, rude, and barely any space to sit.
Came here a few times. Great vibes, good customer service, and good drinks. This is a good place to get out the house, relax, and come get some work done. I recommend anyone to check this place out.
The bartista was very very nice and its a beautiful place :))
Finally a truly authentic coffee shop with so much character. Of course it would pop up in this go little soccer of an artist district in fort Lauderdale. The latte with oat milk and Carmel was a completely unique blend (a nice reprieve from almond milk which sometime over powers the coffee) as I recently you a haitus from dairy. I highly recommend the bacon egg and cheese sandwich or comes on two thick slices of homemade bread with a hefty portion of perfectly cooked bacon. The setting is what Im always looking for in a coffee shop A MUST TRY!!
Wildflower Latte was delicious, and the atmosphere is very anesthetically pleasing. 😁
Just wow. So beautiful inside. Coffee is also great!!
Meh. Mediocre coffee (got a regular latte) and weird vibe. Wouldn’t recommend. Nothing you couldn’t get elsewhere
Definitely one of the coolest hidden gems in #fortlauderdale — This corner has such a great vibe to study, work, read, have coffee, meet great peps, whatever you are in to 🖤 — ....↠ wifi was top 🚀 and free↠ power plugs 💻 are mostly in the high top tables↠ coffee ☕️was absolutely delicious: I had #capuccino of the ‘fall season’ that came with Turmeric, Ginger and a extra shot of expreso.
Loved, loved, loved, the coffee here!!! Its the real deal. No need to add syrups to help with the taste, no need for nothing except COFFEE. I loved the decor, but hated the parking. Its horrendous to try and find the place, let alone the parking. The staff was nice, but it took forever to get service. When I finally did theyre were very informative.
Great Coffee cool vibe worth the trip other places nearby to check out also 😎
Unless you knew about this eclectic coffee cafe, youd never find it. Though even if you did know about it and found your way here, you might still not actually find it. Arriving, you walk into what looks like an office area with zero clues that coffee exists. Though for those bold enough to venture around the corner, and then down the long hallway, are richly rewarded with a hipster vibed coffee house that boasts an industrial meets random chair meets library feel atmosphere with some delicious coffee.I opted for an iced latte with low fat milk and their fresh made on site pumpkin spice sauce paired with a candied pecan cinnamon bun. The pumpkin sauce was out of this world fresh and delicious. You can taste the fresh made difference. The party was decent but not anything is get again. While warm and fluffy, they outsource these and they were good.
Staff was not friendly. Coffee tasted burned. I was very disappointed in this place.
Perfect place to relax and chill. Staff are easy going and friendly. Setting is lovely, comfortable and spacious seating. Highly recommend to any one who just wants to take a step outside of the rat race and chill
A great place with amazing lattes. highly recommend
