I made an order of over a thousand dollars in batteries. That led to ONE email confirming the order. No mention of whether theyre in stock, lead time, or anything else that might settle my nerves on whether this is a legit company. A little customer service feedback would go a long way on convincing this first-time customer he didnt get scammed.
It was a pleasure dealing with Patrice, Jim and all the team at Emarine systems. I ordered an electric outboard, and due to pandemic related supply problems, it took a month or so to arrive. While the sales person had told me the unit would be ready to go out of the box, it came missing an important, and expensive ($300) part. As it turns out, this part was actually NOT included with the unit/PN that I ordered. Despite this, because my expectations had been set, Patrice, Jim, and the leadership team at Emarine made good on their original commitment, and drop shipped me the missing component at their cost directly from the manufacturer within two days! Because of this positive experience, Ill make it a point to give my business to emarine any time I can in the future. Integrity is key! Patrice and Emarine earned a lifetime customer.

These people were very helpful. We had a voltage regulator which had gone bad and was not working. Alex said that they would take a look at it and see if they could do anything about the repair of it. they got into it they were able to repair it. It works great! these people went far beyond what they needed to help me. Their service was excellent!
So far, not at all good, seems to be a backlog beyond reasonable. First attempt to drop off item for bench test; drove an hour and no one was there. Dropped off 4 days later, that was 12 days ago, still havent heard back. Just called and no one was answering phone. Not sure whats happening there but Ill post response to keep all updated.
We purchased our Firefly batteries from e Marine and had a great experience with that transaction. They provided the technical details to help me understand the best way to charge and care for these carbon foam AGMs.Later in the day (5pm) I noticed one of the cables from our solar array was corroded and crumbling. Since we were scheduled to leave the dock soon I needed to figure out a solution. I called e Marine expecting to get their voicemail so I could leave a message. Someone answered and after I explained what I was looking at, they suggested I come to their shop and they would help me get the parts I needed.I showed up at 6pm to a shop that was busy with their technicians working on projects. They spent almost an hour drawing diagrams and showing me cables and how to best fix my issue.Then the magic happened. Two of them grabbed cables and their tools and said well follow you to your boat and help you.Once we got to the boat, they spent time looking at all the connections and identified several things that needed to be replaced due to deteriorating plastic connectors. Some of the repairs required custom cables to extend the wiring. They measured and told me that they would put everything I needed together for me. I asked what day I should come in to pick the new parts up and was told give us a 30 minute head start then come to the shop to pick them up tonight.This level of service and expertise is what the boating community needs. The staff at e Marine are exceptional in not only their knowledge but also their care of the customer and their understanding of the needs of boaters.Its rare for me to feel a sense of loyalty to a retailer or service provider but I will use these folks every chance I get. I highly recommend them!

Our LG battery was damaged due to a cell imbalance and I took it to E-Marine to see if they could help.. Jim and his team have gone above and beyond to try to figure our what is wrong with the battery. They even called LG to get trained and certified to see if they could fix it for us. I would recommend Jim and E-Marine to anyone having issues with their boat.

Trying to design a solar panel system that works for your needs is difficult. I spent a lot of time on Amazon trying to piece together a system of panels, controllers, wire, and connections on a budget. I figured i would give eMarine a call and get their thoughts as they do a turn key system. I told them my concerns about price and quality letting them know exactly what i wanted. After a few back and forth calls they gave me a quote for a system that made sense. Had i went the Amazon route i would have designed the system incorrectly and would have had to spend more time and money correcting it. Their prices were very competitive and when you receive the system it is ready for install all the way down to the last connector. Dont make the mistake of trying to piece together a system at Amazon. Go here first and get exactly what you need the first time knowing that when you are finished it is correct.
I am updating my review. Due to prohibitively expensive shipping from another dealer I bought batteries here and picked them up. My second experience was much better. They do not seem as experienced as another dealer, but they were ultimately gracious and accommodating. Yes I would do business with them again.

Slow walk to nowhere.On may 5th I inquired about having an inverter charger repaired. I get a prompt response that I should call to make an appointment and then another message that I will be receiving a form to prepay $65 prior to bringing it in. Several emails later, no form, no appointment, then two weeks later, im advised there is a 4-5 week wait time. Im okay with all this, Ill wait, Ill pay, send me the form, still no form, no appointment, nothing. In my last message I suggested to them that if they are not interested in my business they should just say so instead of giving me the run around with RMA, prepayment forms, appointments and 4-5 weeks waits... common man! This is a simple repair. Im made to feel as if Im asking for an audience with the pope and then im ignored. My guess is unless youve got a five or six figure job for them, you might as well go fry ice. Keep this in mind before you spin your wheels with these self absorbed turkeys.

I took two different, but similar wind generators to their shop to get bench tested. When I got them back, one of them was not acting normally. I made a second trip to their shop. Wilmer (the service tech who worked on my units originally) checked out the problematic wind generator again. honestly I was a bit upset and thought they really hadnt tested my unit thoroughly so i asked if I could see how they tested them.Although Im sure its not normal company policy to let customers in the back, they obliged and I was treated to a behind the scenes look at how they test the units on a purpose made dyno.full disclosure In a previous life I was an NMEA certified marine electronics technician and based on my behind the scenes experience, all I can say is that they take servicing wind generators seriously.Wilmur went into a file cabinet pulled up a file with with my name and the previous dyno results of my unit. He ran the unit on the dyno again and the numbers were exact.It doesnt get much better than that in my book. They will see more of my business soon.
I ordered 6 Hyundai 290W solar panels and an OutBack controller from eMarine. Through some problem I was having with their site, I missed the Black Friday free shipping offer. Jim L. was helpful in addressing my issue and made sure that I got a good deal on my order, the crating, and the shipping ... and made sure that my order would make it to my freight forwarder to get on the next boat to Dominica.Diane O. took over the shipping details and, when there was confusion in the addressing of another order from a different retailer that looked like it was going to delay my entire consolidated shipment, she rode herd on straightening out the problem. This was not any problem of eMarines but Diane knew that everything needed to be at the forwarder in order for the shipment to depart on time. She said she knew the ropes and indeed she did!In short, the folks at eMarine went out of there way to provide a great shopping experience. I am super impressed with the care they put into their service. Oh, yeah ... my shipment arrived on the next boat, the new panels and controller integrated nicely into my existing system and were converting good ole Dominican sunshine into ice cubes.

Bought solar equipment; inverters, panels, charge controllers, ect. Had shipped to small island in West Indies. Customer service A+. Even when I needed tech support when installing. Few months later bought marine grade wind generator to export. They go above/beyond...
Shame on emarine....We took our wind generator in to have it serviced by emarine; 1)the unit was lost as was our information 2) sepatately, requests of Diane to have an estimate made for extra solar panels for our boat...she forgot, and still hasnt given us an estimate 2 weeks later 3)separately, we talked at length with David to buy a new air silent unit and paid for it over the phone...went to pick said unit up....no one has a y knowledge of the transaction, there are no units inhouse...the owner gives no care over the phone...we leave tomorrow for the Bahamas. We are beyond upset. What a ship of fools including the uncaring owner and the incompetent shop. Shame on you!!!
Needed info about blue sky charge controller that I bought from them. Jeremy in technical sales said he knew nothing and tech support would reply to my email from yesterday in 2 days... Horrible. Took my business elsewhere to purchase a new controller.
