I really like shopping here for quality used furniture and supplies. Sometimes there arent prices and depending on the day it can be hard to get help getting a price, but other than that the staff is helpful and friendly when they do help. Worth checking out for your needs when looking for a new piece of furniture or decor for your home. They even carry hurricane shutters, door, windows, and building supplies.

Habitat re-store has seriously turned into such a SCAM. People donate the items in the store. For them to turn around and raise the prices so high is so GREEDY. Isaw a mirror in there from City Furniture that was priced higher than the one in the outlet. Years ago Habitat was for HUMANITY and not GREED.

Great Store with fair pricing and friendly staff. As a contractor, I was impressed to find everything I needed to complete the bathroom remodel with only one trip to the store and at the same time, it also felt good knowing the proceeds from my purchase would be used to help other families in need.

Yes, the prices do seem high...a lot of new merchandise...building materials was weak....my thoughts were on the lighting...a maintenance person was there making sure every unit had light bulbs...when most buildings have cut back a third of there lighting for conservation and less cost...proving..they really dont care.

Very good place to shop for used And new furniture at reasonable prices. They have 15 percent discount for frontline workers, veterans and senior citizens from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Covid19 protocol is seriously observed with handicap access provided. But for some negative attitude exhibited by a cashier (less cheerful) their customer relations is next to excellent.

Our recent shopping trip to Habitat Restore turned out quite fruitful. The customer service was excellant. We were able to get a really great price on a kitchen cabinet we desperately needed to complete our kitchen renovation. The furniture side was for the most part on the high end for used furniture, but if really dig and sort thru all of the items, you may find some great deals on the clearance items. I really like the idea that all of the procedes from each sale directly benefit those in need in our comunity. The items instock varries, but if you land there at the right time, you can save a small fortune on your home improvement project while helping others. For me that is a win-win. I would definately reccomended checking them out.

Recent change in management has shown nice improvements to service and price consistency. I used to shop there frequently, going back many years when it was just 1 building but several years ago gave up. Lets face it, most of us go there for bargains. The fact that the proceeds go to a great cause are a perk but not the main draw for most. For a while the pricing was pretty high for a thrift type store but Ive seen it come back to reality now. They arent giving stuff away, hit garage sales for that. But the deals are good again. I overheard some say $1400 bucks for used cabinets, seriously!? So I looked of course.. having remodeled a few kitchens myself and knowing 1 set of pot and pan drawers can set you back 500 bucks easy, this set was a great deal. Over a dozen pieces of high end, reputable brand custom ordered pieces that my guess was close to or over 10k easy and great condition. I would have snatched it up if I had the $ that day! On the higher end stuff you may get a little sticker shock, but do your research on brand pricing, then youll see. Only issue I have is them being closed on Sunday, a big project day for me.

ZERO STARS ---- Customer service is horrible. Employees act like criminals doing community service. Seems like they hate their jobs and get agitated if you ask them questions. Managements attitudes are even worse than their staff. They sell some new, damaged and used junk at retail prices all of which they obtained for free. Really?I have visited this store (Broward Boulevard) several times over the years and they are consistently bad across the board. I only continue to visit in hopes to find hurricane panels I need. With so many bad Google reviews Its a wounder they can keep the doors open. I hope at some point the owners will reads these reviews and make drastic changes. The restores have potential for being good for everyone and sad to say it looks like nothing will change.I am looking forward to finishing the hurricane panels and not going there anymore.

Disregard most of the complaints. I cannot speak on the quality of refused items or specific staff interactions. This is NOT a thrift store. If you want to complain like it is, go to a thrift store. I love this store and they have great selection. Employees are helpful. My issue is that there is clearly different ppl pricing the items. Some items are outrageously expensive whether they are new or not. They get their furniture from City Furniture and Ive seen the exact furniture in the City Furniture clearing warehouse brandnew for a fraction of the price that Habitat Has it listed for. A Large USED sleeper sofa...$900!! I can get something brand new and in better quality for a fraction of that price. My request from management is...please whomever is pricing these items so high...please educate them on proper pricing. A stained used sofa should not be $400... Even the new sofas should not be $700. The person putting those prices clearly does not know abt pricing. I use to go here frequently but w these prices I rather go to a new furniture store.

Broward office store prices are really high maybe 10 dollars different if you bought it new and the put out furniture for free or a low cost once a month to make room for more over priced items. How can they run a business were the furniture was 300 one week and 20 dollars next week which show they are taking advantage of people kindness. Plus, the manager of Jana and Kevin are rude to customers. The have a militant attitude as if they own the store and do not like to give help without an attitude attached to. I am not sure why more people dont complain about this store or the organization.

This place has a lot of stuff, and I can see why. Most items are not priced to move. In fact, all the items that I was interested in were WAY over-priced. I cant imagine that anyone would buy a 11 year old PLASMA (not LCD) TV for $300. This might have been a bargain about 8 years ago, but today it is just insulting.Maybe there is a financial motive (taxes?) for keeping so much stagnant inventory on hand, but I get the feeling that they are not very interested in selling the stuff they have.I give the place points for being fairly organized and pretty well stocked, but the pricing scheme definitely needs work. It is unlikely that we will be back.

Review №56

Ridiculously, nonsensically overpriced. They need to slash the prices by an average of 2/3 to get the stuff moving. Relatively good organized with a relatively decent staff. They could at least clean the fridges before they put them on sale- yucky. Consider a waste of time, I do not think I will be back any time soon.

The store has changed alot. They no longer sell or take entertainment centers.Theyve stopped selling alot of needed home furnishing items like they use to sale. They are also very picky with what they accept. I had a very nice couch and they refused it, said that it didnt meet their requirements. I went to the store recently to buy tile and saw the couches for sale they did accept. I guess my couch that I wanted to donate didnt have enough stains on it because most of the ones I saw in the store recently was stained or worn out.

Very over priced on alot of things.. Some items that are used are more expensive than buying new.. Some stuff stays over priced, and sits in that store for years.. Some of the volunteers/staff are very rude, the place isnt managed very well and they should mark stuff lower or have 50% off days to make stuff sell so they can keep stuff flowing.. Overall they do have some nice things and I have bought some nice things here at decent prices in the past.. and the place is clean..

Totally over priced! Discontinued wall sconces $65 when I bought new & similar at Lowes for $19, what a rip off, drawer pulls $5, really? They are $2.79 at Home Depot, they are absolutely lost when it comes to prices. This week they had a USED dresser, SCRATCHED, NICKED & DINGED-UP, with the manufacturer specs taped to it, the piece was worth $1699 NEW & thats what they decided to price it at, HOW RIDICULOUS! They sell liquid nails and caulking at a dollar and I bought 6 bottles, they were all hardened unable to use and had expired 6 months ago.The only positive change I saw was that everything seemed more organized and departments were clearly separated, but other than that, they are lost in the sauce! They obviously need someone who knows how to price, you cant price what its worth new if its used and scratched, lets be real people!
