Dropped the ball on our order for our best customer on a quoted job and timeline. Only to be told sorry we cant seem to figure out who dropped the ball. What a waste of time. NEVER AGAIN. THEY NEED NEW STAFF..Going to Boulter from now on.

Just left the shop. Wanted to buy epoxy and bedding compound, and have two simple table saw cuts on a 20 inch x 3 inch piece of mahogany stock.I didn’t ask for a free service, gladly pay a reasonable fee.I was told that since I didn’t buy the wood there they wouldn’t do the cut.So I left over $50 (inflated prices compared to McDonalds or Home Depot) worth of items on the counter said thank you and left.I had a similar thing happen there several years ago and thought I’d try them again . Unfortunately their idea of customer service didn’t warrant my return, and won’t happen again.No matter how good your product or service, people make it work.Captain Wayne Conn

Ivisited yesterday to look at options for some trim pieces i needed, as i was trying to get advise on material options, i showed some project photos and at that point the sales person i was talking to decided insults would be better suited since he could not help me, he ended up telling me my engineering skills were lacking and the project was not well thought out, this from looking at a photo of the project in motion, His job was to advise on materials and sell, if he could not do it to say sorry but we cant help not insult a customer and tell them the project is not well though out . IT WAS A PETHETIC/SAD EXPERIENCE and it happened while four other people watched in silence.I was a customer for over five years but i will NEVER visit that store again because of the poor customer service i received yesterday..

I happen to like Seafarer. Good friendly helpful crew. If they know they inform you, if they dont know, their honest and say I dont know, let me find out. And attempt to find the answer to your questions. At least thats been my experience going there.If your into wood and finishes its a pretty cool place. They have many things others dont. Hard to find items, better quality items as well. Great tools, Specialty items, Exotic woods and a lot more. Theres some really neat stuff you can find there, you wont find everywhere else. Which is another thing I enjoy about going there.And sure, some things are pricey, while on the hand youll find youll save money on others. Ive beat Amazon prices there on many things.You have to know what to get and where to get it, just like any other place.But dont take my word for it. Do yourself a favor and drop by the place. Take a look around. For its size, its a great place to know about.A Captain introduced me to Seafarer, let me introduce you. Seafarers an awesome place Ive been going there 4/10 years very helpful if they dont have it track it down for you if its not available theyll tell you where could you made and anything you need to build they have everything for it for but if they dont the ordering get it for for you in a couple days unless European cant be helped
