When I return my amazon item, they charge me service fee for returning. I talked to the customer service and realize that they were scamming.

Rude customer service. The man who works here in the morning (7/1/2021)would not answer any of my questions in regards to my Amazon return. He told me to look up the instructions on Amazon.com. I had a simple question that he can answer with a yes or no. After taking my Amazon item out of the package, he refused to recycle my small Amazon box. I had to carry it out of the store with me. Like, seriously? I wouldn’t of cared if he at-least was welcoming and provided decent customer service!
Could not be more pleased with the service and attention. Dave was very helpful with paperwork. Smooth transaction. Would not hesitate to go back and do business with UPS Store Fort Lee.
They really provide the best service! I stop be here regularly to drop of prepaid shipments and Amazon returns and the staff here are the friendliest and most helpful people. Lines move quick and they always offer to provide you a printed receipt for your shipments. Staff always have their mask on properly and they require all customers that enter to have masks as well. Theres markers for spacing when in line and they have hand sanitizer available for use if needed. Their notary service is professional and affordable. Ive used it a few times, very helpful and convenient. Just $2.50, cant beat that!

I’ve only had good experiences here. Mostly for Amazon returns which I’m sure is not a big money maker for them. Don’t bring the boxes and they are just a drop off for bulk returns. With the volume they have, they have no room to recycle your boxes. Have some perspective before you leave bad reviews and take out your anger on the employees. The 2 main gentlemen that’s always there deserve a raise!
Ive been going to this UPS store ever since I moved to NJ last year. Ive probably dropped off over 100 prepaid packages here without issues and they always provide me with a receipt without me asking for it. I cant really comment on their other services (i.e amazon returns) other than the time purchased a box, packing peanuts and tape because I had to ship something for work. Sure it was quite a markup but I paid for convenience.

Honestly I have been going to this place since I moved here about eight months ago and I am very surprised they aren’t getting 5-star ratings all around. all during Covid they have been wonderful they follow all the social distancing/sanitizing protocols and they always except all of my many Amazon returns without any hassles. Even recently there was an issue of an Amazon package I had to return not having a bag or barcode getting lost and they still manage to help me solve the problem.this place Gives the best service of any UPS store that I have had to deal with (and that is so many!) Good job guys and just want you to know their customers out there that really appreciate your continued service
Arrive at the store with your item conventionally packaged in bubble envelopes, cardboard boxes, etc. and with a shipping label printed online ready to go. Otherwise, youll end up posting bad reviews for service charges. They always provide a receipt with the tracking number, so dont go complaining about how you get your receipt as whats most important is how your package gets treated and transported.
Got to store and there were 4 customers in front of me, was on my way back out in under a minute! Amazing! If I were at the USPS, I would have stood on line for at least 20 minutes. Got my package delivered in 2 days, although they had 5 to do. USPS had another package sitting in purgatory at the Jersey City location for 12 days now and no one will look into why. Took Amazon packageless return without issue.

Quite surprised by the bad reviews...The store always provides nice and fast service.Sometimes amazon return requires preboxed return.Thats not there fault. I had that experience even from another ups store.Overall, my experience with the store is always two thumbs up!!
First thing Ill say is this review is far overdue... And Im actually going to encourage as many people to follow suit. this is the best ups store in NY and NJ. As one who ships often (daily) and exclusively with UPS I would like to say that this is the finest run storeIve ever dealt with and as an Uber driver/reseller that means Ive been inside of hundreds of UPS stores. The staff is unmatched when it comes to speed and efficiency. The store itself is not that large however they have many trucks that come through there. So regardless of how many boxes are brought in they will be shipped out super fast in a truck pretty much guaranteed. They are friendly they are courteous they work well together they seem like a family and treat every customer with calm and grace. Covid-19 has brought some crazy challenges to every logistic company but in my opinion theres no other store that could handle that and not skip a beat. I probably would not be doing as much business if any without them as my primary UPS store because of covid I also want to say thank you because the fact I trust them so much and I dont need a receipt when I go in there means that I dont have to wait on a standard UPS store LINE these days. I was sent on a 13 week assignment to new New Jersey and needed my mail forward which I explained to A gentleman named Dave, He was so kind, attentive and such a beautiful person. At the end of the transaction and after he handed me the key to my mail box, he refused to take my card, he said it was on him .. ❤❤❤❤😭 He shocked me, and moved my heart. THANKS !!!!!!!
I had a wonderful experience here . I will be going back for the second time really soon . I hope my experience will be like the first. The young lady were so helpful after I drove from the Bronx to locate a ups store 🙄 however it was a pleasant experience 😊
Negative reviews are somewhat surprising. I’ve only experienced friendly, helpful service during my visits. In fact, numerous times the owner has engaged in friendly conversation with me. Appears to be a family owned business. Running a business is not easy so I always try to support small businesses.
I disagree completely with all these negative reviews. This store is very nicely stocked, laid out, and courteously and professionally run. It’s clean, well located and...well...just a great little UPS STORE! Highly recommend! I use it regularly.
I dont agree with the poor reviews given here. I have always found this UPS store to be a standout for reliably great service. I know my high expectations will be met with consistently positive experience there. Unlike some places that seem amateurish, this store understands customer needs and fulfills them.
Everyone know they not friendly but I go there it is convenient
So far all the staffs in the store are very helpful, and very polite too. It’s always very crowded, a little wait time sometimes, but it’s ok.

This store is a ripoff. The owner Dave charged me $5 per notary public signature while New Jersey State Commission permits $2.5 per signature max. Dave told me the addition is convenience charge which is illegal for notary public. I contacted UPS Corporate and they confirmed UPS cant charge more than the state allowance and cant charge convenience charge. Dave was forced to give me refund but he didnt apologize. This is how greedy this store owner is.
I would give zero stars if I could. There is absolutely no time that I’ve been there and not asked for “packaging fees” for only sticking the label on my shipment for any Amazon return. Dave, the owner is extremely unprofessional and I feel very uncomfortable just communicating with him. Total rip-off.Don’t even bother going there and dealing with those people.
Great store to shop at...I’ve been a Safeway shopper all my life! Rarely do I shop anywhere else! The employees are always courteous and helpful! I highly recommend shopping at Carr’s/Safeway stores!
They don’t know anything what is going on. We show the bill that they left in front of the door. They couldn’t find the box and told us that he couldn’t ask another person. We don’t know How we can reach out our packet.

Recently moved to Fot Lee so this was the first time using this location. I have been using UPS for couple of yrs to ship my products to Amazon and never had experience like this. Walked in to ship a small package with prepaid UPS postage. Asked the guy at the desk for tape and he said there is $1 charge to use the tape. Didnt respond and just walked out. All reviews here are true. Stay away. Go to Staples around the corner instead for all UPS shipping.

I can’t believe the incompetence!!! I paid for next day guaranteed arrival. I was Sending a very pertinent package to my mother. Now she will be heading to the Emergency Room, because it was left behind?!! I’m beyond words. This store holding a UPS name . What a shame!
I see they already have terrible reviews.I personally don’t mind that they charge for tape etc, because I get it, when 100 people ask for tape everyday it can really cost the business a lot of money. However the unfriendly service is really unacceptable. Whenever I have to go to this location I shudder at the thought because EVERY SINgLe time, the employee is SO unfriendly and cold. I almost feel bad I’m dropping off a package or sending a parcel out.I’m not asking for red carpet service, but a simple (friendly) acknowledgement of my existence when I’m giving you business would be a step in the right direction.
The custumer service there is awful. Usually, I go there to return Amazon parcels. Every time I come in the older guy that works there looks like he just want to get rid of me as soon as possible. I feel extremely uncomfortable asking him anything at all.This time, however, I wanted to send something small of my own. The guy asked my ID, which I provided, and $11 for the service. Then he said it wouldnt do as the ID wasnt US and because *drum roll* Were in America. Oh, thank you for the news, I wasnt aware that we were. I took my parcel to the post office (USPS) and paid for shipping and tracking $3(!!) with no were in America-bs.
HORRIBLE SERVICE! They deserve -10 for that! They refused to check up the availability of my packages (though my tracking numbers say the packages had been delivered here) just because I have international driver’s license!! They said it’s not US issued ID so they have nothing for me!! Common! Is it written somewhere that my ID should be US issued only? UPS rules say governmental issued ID, not US-issued ID. Everywhere in the world my international drivers license works but not with the UPS agent at 96 Linwood Plaza Fort Lee. Awesome! I can’t describe how disappointed I am!

This place has horrible customer service. I went to drop off boxes for amazon. The older man that works there took everything. I asked him to give me two envelopes for two small boxes I needed to return. After everything he rung me up told me it was almost $7. I immediately question him as to why it was so much and he replied I was being charged for the envelopes and tape. I informed him I’ve gone in the past many times before and was never charged for tape. He told me then he will fire the employee. The proceeded to question which employee hasn’t charged me I told him I would never go back not to worry. He wasn’t very welcoming from the minute I entered the store and sounded very money hungry.

Always had a positive experience here. I always came underprepared but the employee here always helped me. Hes not quite a happy go getter but he gets the job done without a nasty attitude so thats all I care about.
Not sure why my post was removed, but i will gladly write it again, STAY AWAY from this store that falsely advertises. they say ups store everywhere, but really its a private owned store. they dont tell u this when you call, nor is it anywhere displayed on the walls, nor receipts...they screw you out of more money for apick up..my shipping already cost me 160 to find out i owed a additional fee of $5.00 to have my box lay against your wall is outraging. its not the 5$ its the fact that its more money spent as a whole, and not being told about it....the kid behind the counter was a rude sarcastic moron. i hope nobody comes goes here.. it is not a corporate store, it just looks like one. you ruin a crooked business..and its not right call it a ups store when it is run differently. you false advertise. your rude, and your sarcastic. you fail in customer service
Ive had a similar poor experience vented here by many who gave reviews. These guys resist the simple task of accepting a package and giving the customer a receipt. Employees reek of a very unfriendly customer repulsive type attitude. Do yourself a favor go to any other UPS store for good service
Moron working the counter this morning wouldnt accept my girlfriends foreign passport as acceptable identification to pick up a package. Thinks only U.S. government-issued IDs are acceptable for establishing identity. It says on your website a government-issued photo ID, NOT a US government-issued ID. Learn to comprehend English, you imbecile.
This location is a bit nickel and dimey. They charge a $1 to tape a box even if you only need to seal the packing slip inside. They tried to charge me $1 for 3 of tape. No thanks! Their boxes are also ridiculously priced. Ive been to other locations that will seal an entire box at no charge.
I havent even seen the horrible reviews here before I went to drop off a package for an Amazon return. The guy who took my package didnt even want to look at me and was soo cold and unfriendly. I asked for a few clear slips (used to hold tracking numbers) and he told me I need to order them. I have never heard of that. They seem to be extremely cheap and have bad customer service.
I went there today at 2:30 pm on a Saturday, the store is closed. I rarely see a UPS store closed early since it’s not like your private little shop. You can do anything you feel like. It’s a chained store n you have to stick to the official store hour.
Guy at cashier has bad attitude, very grumpy, not pleasant, and gave me no information... also inconsistent pricing when I send out packages that are the same product, one time he charged me for packaging the item... but my item was already boxed up and packaged, the next time I came with the same exact box/ product to ship and it was the price as stated on the website... just unpleasant vibe overall, workers seem miserable... dont even get a smile... will look for other UPS store
The fat guy with the greasy brown hair and patchy beard is a nightmare. He always treats people like dirt and never actually helps. Even when I asked him for a receipt he rolled his eyes.Do yourself a favor and look up UPS stores around the area and go there. Dont ever come here unless you want to receive an attitude for no reason.
It is hard to get a good service in this place; charge you extra for picking up package in the store in lieu of home delivery. Although located in a shopping mall, close by parking might be difficult to get.
I rarely leave a review but Im still so mad at the guy in this store I am leaving my review. This guy working there is so RUDE and disrespectful. I was sending a very important package so asked a couple questions to confirm the fee, when they will receive the package- and this guy so rude wont answer any of the questions bc he is said he already told me. I wanted to confirm since it was a very important document. And he would just ignore me, give me attitudes, call me annoying LOL. I took my documents back and walked right out. Wow this was a horrible experience, I would stay away from this place, want to give a negative 10 stars review if I can.

They charge you $1 to put one foot of tape over your box. Ive probably given them collectively hundreds of dollars in revenue. And they want to mark up one foot of tape 1000%. No thanks.

I would rate a zero if I could. They are so rude. I called beforehand asking how much a box was and the gentleman told me $3.50. I went last weekend to buy two of those boxes and it came out to $17.10. I told the guy that I called and a gentleman told me it was $3.50. He said no, maybe you were given wrong info. I just called the store again asking how much and he told me it was $3.50. The guy from the weekend just wanted to overcharge me. I told him what happened and he said he couldnt do anything until he sees the box. I told him the boxes were already shipped. Never returning here again. Find yourself a different UPS store.
Thieves !!!Do not send anything at this place I sent 2 things out at 2 different times (both iphones) both times it got lost in the store. UPS only gave me $100 back which was way less than what the phones were worth. I think when they think you have something of value they reopen your package and if its not in their interest they repackage it and send it out. There was no way my 2 iphones were lost in the store twice.

STAY AWAY! This is an unscrupulous, petty store; They dont give you receipts unless you ask (So if they lose packages, they will eschew responsibility); They will charge you for even something as minimal as 6 inches of tape; They have an arrogant attitude and overcharge on their supplies.
What a circus stay away This ups store is lousy and the clowns there also want to charge you $1 to tape your package 8 of tape for a dollar! You can buy a full roll for $1:99. I took my package to another ups location and they did not charge to tape the package!

I had a pre-paid shipping label and was expecting to return the item without extra charges. The store didnt have bags, which is how the item I was returning came so I had to pay $4.58 for a box.
