My daughter wants a Barn appearance in her guest bathroom. She ordered a barn vanity on line but couldnt find any wood for trim, baseboards, etc. Had to wait 3 months for Rust to go to the Midwest and secure some barn wood. They just returned and the selection was great. Mission accomplished and Rust will make 2 Barn doors for the bathroom.
BE ADVISED THEY HAVE MOVED!!! 1922A EVANS AVE, FT MYER, FL. If you have a project, remodel job, restoration of an item, etc., most likely RNSAS has what you need or want. If not, they most likely know where to send ya to find it. Reclaimed or exotic wood, antiques, cast iron, brass, too much to mention. These are the most helpful folks I know in Ft Myers FL. Do yourself a favor. Stop in and just say hello.
These guys are amazing! Made a custom door for us with a glass insert for our home. Matt was Professional and Precise!
A wonderful place to shop. A mix of antiques and salvage and a full service carpentry shop. An every changing inventory of fun and fabulous finds in a relaxed atmosphere and the best selection of reclaimed wood in the area. The owners are absolutely lovely as well. One of our favorite places to shop.
Great place to revive the past. Very nice selection of Milled Lumber

Great prices. Beautiful products
An absolute gem of a shop. Great service and we loved all the items we purchased. Would have bought more if we were local as we couldnt fit all we wanted into our suitcases. The woman who assisted us, unfortunately cannot recall her name, was just so helpful and lovely. We will be back next time we are visiting Fort Myers :)
Great little shop. They have a nice selection of reclaimed wood.
Matt perfectly executed my vision for a small, reclaimed wood end table with a metal grate on top! Highly recommend!
Great people, hard to find items of metal and a fantastic selection of wood for most any project. Definitely recommend!
What a wonderful place! The staff was so friendly. I found such amazing antiques and live edge slabs. I love this store after 1 visit. Will ALWAYS go back!
Funky store with loads of rough cut wooden slabs big enough for bar tops, tables or..whatever. Full service shop on premises. Also stacks reclaimed lumber, plus shelves and shelves of antique do-dads. Love it!
I started to coming to Rust Never Sleeps when the store opened off 41.There were no well known architectural salvage stores in Fort Myers until RNS arrived. It is a wonderland of architectural salvage, funky nostalgia, foreign objects (like lightning balls from the mid west to a Yankee girl), fabulous woods, and the NICEST owners! Best wishes to the new owners at the new location at Evans and Thompson! I ll keep following you!
Truly unique pieces, you can see alot of pride and ownership goes into the craftsmanship of their work. if your looking for quality furniture or items that can and have stood the test of time this is by far the best place to go.
Always a pleasure doing business with RNS! Unique items, fair prices - plus innovative ideas and suggestions for custom pieces! So far, theyve made a beautiful 14 dining room table and a gorgeous, functional kitchen island - all from reclaimed, repurposed wood! An exciting place to work with pros and express yourself with that one, special piece!
Great store! Owners have put a lot of thought into their store and offer a variety of options! Go and browse if nothing else for ideas..
This is the best shop in Fort Myers! A large selection of both Architectural Salvage and reclaimed wood. Ive made a few purchases already and Im delighted with the service.
Pleasantly suprised to come across Rust Never Sleeps especially living across the river in Cape Coral notoriously known for it;s origiginal cookie Cutter Home. Once inside we where surrounded by all the cottage, farmhouse charm salvage (wonderfully reminicent of earlier times & places).Old iron fences, gates old fashioned wooden screen doors, an occasional antique light, vintage hardware, turned porch posts etc. etc. etc.Almost as much fun as digging around an the old barns in upstate N.Y. back in the70s so yourself a favor.....Enjoy !
