Small store yet what makes up for it is the excellent customer service. Was in the area only to check the store out since my wife only wanted to check out the beads available for her designs, nice selection and prices. Staff was attentive to everyone around.Best of all was this young female associate, was awesome even during closing time. Was willing to even lend us an umbrella since it was pouring out and we had our kid with us.

Michael’s has finally improved their coupon offerings. It now makes more sense to shop here rather than laces like Walmart fir craft supplies. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They give vets and their families 15% off if registered. We appreciate that too.

For a craft store they had very little of the basic crafting supplies I needed. No fur, no foam, etc.

I was close by so I went in but not my first choice for craft supplies since they charge more than anywhere else.

Items and pricing was a five. I saved a lot of money shopping here vs amazon. The shipping not so much. I received a few things that I didnt order and my box was pretty banged up and open upon delivery.

They have a huge sale going on right now and it was amazing to see what I was able to get my hands on!I was looking for something specific and they didn’t have it on the shelf but they had it in back stock and happily looked for it for me!

It is very conveniently located on 41. The staff here is always willing to help. I am a teacher and they remind me to use my educator discount in addition to my coupons when checking out. I usually can find what I need when I go in and if not theres always someone available to ask. Also, I appreciate how they treat my children. My daughter is young and she can ask a question and is treated with respect. Such a great store!

I dont come here often, but on the rare occasions that I do make a stop here, Ive never been disappointed. The store is clean and everything stays organized. It is always easy to find the items in looking for. The staff has always be very pleasant as well.

This is a very nice store with reasonable prices and discounts. I found beautiful frames for my diplomas to hang on my wall. They were originally 34.00, they were discounted 50%. It was like buy one get one free. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Huge huge thank you to the guy that helped me out today. After knocking down a frame and getting some glass into my foot, he was really kind to me. Last time I was in the store, about 6 months ago, he helped me choose some paper for a painting and was just as helpful. I’ve never had a bad customer service experience here.

This might sound odd, but the staff is too helpful, crossing the line into overbearing. I was asked probably once every minute or so if I needed anything, which is very considerate, but this is an arts store, I am an artist, and I am also an introvert. I felt very hounded and the feeling was unpleasant. Ive visited this location before and this is the first time this has happened.

Prices on frames are really great I found what I wanted and they were half off I will go back

Super crowded. Different layout than former Michaels stores. Very difficult to social distance due to the narrow aisles. Prices have gone up from last year as is the case for most stores. The quality of items are not as good w higher prices. No thank you Michaels.

The newer store in Ft Myers in the Target Plaza leaves me kind of blah. The store looks dirty but it isnt, it seems like they just had a big sale and the store seems ravaged but it wasnt, and it never has enough staff. The cashiers are always helpful.

The store was clean & had handicapped parking & accessibly. Even though they were busy the staff was friendly & helpful. I was looking for 5 Easter Baskets & items that werent candy to fill each one. They had such a good selection to choose from that I had a hard time deciding what to buy. Of course I bought more than I needed. They also have a good selection of many different types of craft ideas & materials. A variety of classes are also available for you to take. I had to wait in line to checkout, but it moved swiftly. Michaels is my choice of where to go when I need craft supplies.

I love coming to Michaels cause I found clearance items and also got to use my discount app account on a regular priced iteam . You guys are so amazing and nice staff . Very clean store also . I will keep coming here to get beads and paint for my project.

I recently got a Lichtenstein print framed here and I was amazed at the level of professionalism that is hard to come by these days. Paul in the framing department was incredible. He personally assured me my art would be safe and he did a great job. Super professional, top of the line framing and matting done, and very efficient work. I’ll definitely be back to get all of my art framed by Paul.

Dont want to rank them on a single visit, and first I might add. Tried to buy a simple thimble. No, not possible. Either a leather and metal one for $14 or a whole sewing kit. You would figure a craft store would have a simple thimble (and in different sizes ) but alas 👎. Couldnt post this dribble without ranking the store so one star for stock, 5 for helpful employees, average 3.

Great for all your arts & crafts needs, with a friendly, helpful staff. However, if youre a serious artist, you will have to travel to Tampa or Miami for a real art supply store. Update: They have recently expanded their fine arts section with more products. Still not as extensive as a specialty fine art store, But definitely better than they were

I love Michael’s and they usual have what I’m looking for. I’m giving them 3 stars because when I do need assistance with finding something or accessing locked cabinets, I can’t find anyone walking around the store to help. Once I had to walk up to the register and ask but they were all checking people out. They need to organize their staff a bit better.

I would have given it zero stars if I could. I just walked around in this store for 30 mins trying to get help and all the staff just run from you and give you dirty looks. The only nice person there was door greater. Customer service here is absolutely awful. I don’t know how you all stay open with service like this

I have been going to Michaels for years, I been using Michaels to purchase my SHARPIE PAINT PENS FOR YEARS, but over the last two years I noticed inventory has been so slim to not, I know yall have sales I try to catch them... But if these items are such AMAZING SELLERS THAT I CANT EVEN FIND BARELY ANY EXTRA FINE PAINT PENS LET ALONE NON IF THE BLACK LINER EXTRA FINE THERES A HUGE ISSUE 2 DIFF STORES TWO DIFF SIDES OF FORT MYERS COME ON STOCK UP STOCK UP AND THERE NOT EVEN ON SALE PEOPLE🤔... VERY DISAPPOINTED, I WAS FORCED TO TRY A NEW BRAND I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF JUST TO BE ABLE TO FINISH MY PAINTINGS NOT KOOL WHEN U FOUND UR BRAND AND UR USE TO THAT BRAND THERE NOT EASY TO USE ANY WAY.... The check out girl was nice she sympathized with my issue but she just works there.... The store was a bit of a mess not organized but it coulda been worse...

We had taken 4 prints to be matted and framed there. The woman argued with us about the color of the matting we choose. 3 weeks later we picked up the pictures the prints were mounted on the mat instead of the mat cut around the pictures as is done. We were already upset with her and by then each other. We paid for the work and the pictures or hiding in our closet. Anybody know a good framer in Lee county?

I love this store! They have way too many choices though...I get into trouble spending too much money every time I visit. The store is clean, organized, and the staff is very helpdul. Classes are available to learn different crafty skills. If you need supplies or info, this is a good place to stop.

Took a picture to Michaels for custom framing. Great service. Sales associate was very artistic & had good vision for my art.

The manager and his staff were excellent in going above and beyond to ensure that I had all of the supplies needed for an upcoming wedding. The products were not available in store, so they checked local shops, and called me the next day with the items ready for pick-up. I was very impressed by the level of customer care and attention. Avoid going during the lunch hour, but outside of that, there is always staff touring the facility ready and willing to help.
