Been buying parts there for over 20 years great parts great service always and the best staff ever love u guys keep up the great work
I took my flywheel to get resurfaced. They did a great job. But they charged me for 3 dowel pins that were never changed then when I called Tony he started to get an attitude and told me “you should’ve took it off yourself” and “well next time do it yourself”. They have poor customer service.
Should be negative stars!! Costumer service is horrible and Tony in the machine shop is a joke!!! Had our motor for over 2 months for a job that he said would take 2 weeks. When we would call he wasn’t there and would never return a call. For 3 weeks straight, after a month an a half, he would tell us “it will be done the first of the week”. Bull!!! When my son dropped of a part that my husband forgot, he knocked on the shop door and Tony screamed at him to get his “a** in here”. After all this, a $800 job turned into a $1400 bill because he did stuff to the engine without our permission or our knowledge. Never again! Stay away!!!
People at the front counter seemed nice. “Tony”, who runs the machine shop out back, is clearly in over his head. I waited 25 minutes while he was on the phone trying to fix $1,200 worth of wrong parts he ordered. I had a brake caliper with a broken bleeder that I needed extracted. He glanced at it, told me it couldn’t be done and to just order a new caliper. The replacement was $600 so I decided to give it a try myself. Took me about 40 minutes after watching a few YouTube videos. IMHO Tony is in the wrong line of work.
As a dealer calling around to get parts for my cars, FMA has been a staple in the success of my business. They always have knowledgeable reps answering the phones, often times correcting me when im calling... compare that to the children their competition is hiring that know NOTHING....youd think that itd be easy for them to stand out...Albeit true, they go above and beyond for their clients, needing something I dont even know the name of, their drivers have picked parts up from my shop, and taken them back to their shop and had them swapped out and redelivered to me...at no extra charge.Thank you guys so much for your dedication to our success.
Buyer beware. I would not deal with the machine shop. Appearance of shop is disorganized and they attempted to overcharge me for repairing a standard cast head. My first clue something was not right was when they required an upfront $120.00 deposit to even start the repair. Several weeks later they called and said the head was ready and the balance due $399.00. That would make the single head repair well over $500.00. I could not believe they actually attempted to charge that amount. I told them to keep they head. They apparently have done the deposit scheme and then over charge. They get the deposit and still come out ahead if the customer refuses to apparently be extorted.I purchased two reworked heads for $145.00 and free shipping.
