This place beyond great. I was 1st introduced in March when my friend brought cupcakes from here for my gender reveal. We were hooked. We got cupcakes for my baby shower from and recently my sons 3rd birthday cake was from here. I walked in only with a vision and no visual reference. Only expressed in words what I was looking for and they did an excellent job. Everyone at the party loved the costco themed make. The small details made such a difference. I definitely suggest them for your party desserts. Cakes and cupcakes are delicious but service is so friendly. Thank you for an awesome job.

We loved small cakes! We ordered jumbo cannoli cakes and mini Italian wedding cake cupcakes for an engagement party over the weekend. They were a huge hit. Delicious and gorgeous. This is our 3rd large order with them and we will be back again. Delivery was friendly and ahead of schedule. The 4 stars is because I was not able to customize my order online and had to call it in. The lady who took my order was rude and unorganized. When I called back the next day to confirm my order I felt more comfortable that I would get what I paid for and everyone else was wonderful! Maybe she was having a bad day. We all have them.

In the beginning they were tasty.... but in the past year, the last few times I got them the icing tastes like it has almond extract... almost every flavor tastes like it and our family was so disappointed (Red Velvet was the only safe one). It almost seemed like they made one big batch of icing for their wedding cupcake then just tried to mix the other flavors in and use it for everything. Twice we ended up throwing the entire dozen away after sampling 1 bite from each because no one likes the almond flavor, the second dozen was a gift so at least we didnt lose out all the money again. Maybe they changed their recipe, but taking a bite expecting pink vanilla-y goodness and getting almond is horrid although perhaps not as bad as the oreo-almond mix.

We ordered assorted cupcakes and a 1st year cake from Smallcakes of Fort Myers for my granddaughters first birthday, and we were absolutely thrilled with how everything came out and tasted!The cupcakes were moist and decadent-looking - they tasted amazing and the guests loved them!For the babys 1st year cake, we showed Tonyia 2 different photos for inspiration, and she was able to combine the two ideas to make the perfect cake for our granddaughter. The cake was so perfect and both baby and babys parents were delighted with it!!!I would highly recommend them to friends & family.

Smallcakes of Fort Myers truly delivered (literally)! Few things bring more joy than cupcakes brought to your door. I ordered six cupcakes for my son to kick off him starting the 3rd grade. I usually get a little cake from a grocery store, but I saw a friend’s post about Smallcakes and immediately went to their site to order! I love how you can select all different flavors. I ordered the cookies N cream, toilet paper and Reese’s peanut butter cup ones specifically for my son, and he first went for the Wedding Cake! So I had to quickly sample haha! So good! The joy on my son’s face was excellent. I recommend!

Cupcakes were yummy and the place is very pretty. My only complaint is The girl Who was taking care of us, she was not very friendly. Customer service could be better. I don’t know maybe she was having a bad day. It was my first time visiting and I was excited to try every cupcake, but at end I just wanted to pay and leave. 8 cupcakes for $38. And some change. Not bad!

We went in and got 6 cupcakes for $20 and they were more than worth it. The cakes were full of flavor and paired perfectly with their icing. Staff was super friendly and even went out of their way to get what we wanted. Will be back for sure!

And I had only explained what I wanted over the phone! They pay such attention to detail and help you design whatever you are looking for. Jeff Martin would be very disappointed if he tasted and saw the cupcakes that I picked up today.I preordered two four packs for my son’s 8th birthday. When I arrived home, one of the cupcakes was wrong. They must have been out of it, so they simply chose something else as a replacement. The problem, I have with this is that I placed & paid for the order two days before. They could have called to inform about the replacement instead of being surprised when we arrived home.The cupcakes themselves were very inconsistent, some smaller than others. Some frosting was not as it should be according to SmallCakes standards. A few of them had dented frosting from being put in the boxes.Now comes the taste test. The red velvet cake was dry and had way too much coca powder, so it was inedible unless you ate it with the frosting. The cookies and cream cake was also dry. Those are the only two we tasted as they turned us off from trying the rest of them.We are very familiar with SmallCakes franchise! Our hometown in Idaho has a SmallCakes store and every time we went there, we always received high quality cupcakes and the quality that SmallCakes was founded on. I’m very disappointed with our first experience at SmallCakes here in Ft Myers, Florida especially after reading all the rave reviews.Sorry I didn’t take more photos as evidence as we were so excited to eat them…

Generally you start a review on the product; which I will get to but at small cakes it is the people that impressed me from the two young ladies serving the clients to owner Tonya they have created such a wonderful atmosphere as your faced with the impossible decision to choose between all the amazing cupcakes staring you in the face. My wife and I regularly make that our treat. My personal favorite is the wedding cake, but everyone I have tried I love. This time however I tried a cake as we were celebrating my visiting nephews birthday. We had what I was told by Tonya is a new flavor the toasted almonds OMG AMAZING in true small cake fashion to die for. We all loved this new flavor and will have it again soon.

I ordered a cake from here for an RN celebration party. It was beautiful and the star of the show…..my little nurse loved it. When I put it on Facebook everyone commented how pretty and “clever” the cake was. The cake was delicious after cutting into it. I wouldnt call for an order, depending on who you talk to, like other reviews, may not be very welcoming. Submit online and they will contact you. The lady who helped me was super helpful. I highly recommend Smallcakes, not just because their attitude for the best service, but as well impressive creativity. I ordered a cake for 30-people for my niece graduation, and she is going to Harvard. I lowered my expectation because I was so late to place the order (only 24-hours), I know cakes, in regards to design, texture, flavor, etc. When I pick up the cake, I was blown away. Not just the design is elegant and carry Harvard color tone, it has Harvard logo on it. Even more, the chocolate flavor was balanced and the texture was moist. We received so many compliments from party guess. My niece was smiling ear-to-ear, made her day (and made my day)! It was such a beautiful feeling and a happy memory you created! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Pretty good cupcakes. Most were moist and not crumbly. Got them at the end of the day (approx 5:15) so could have explained the oreo one being a little crumbly compared to the others. Great gift to get people and it is different than just a gift card. Got a 6 pack and 1 extra (no price discount for getting a 6 pack) friendly staff.

We have ordered previously in the past and always had great experiences. This last time not so much! The cakes were perfect and in store customer service was great. However, we had placed a large order and called the day before to confirm the pickup time. I spoke with Paula and she was rude and honestly shouldn’t be answering the phone. She stated there was no pickup time so they weren’t going to be ready till late afternoon since there were other orders ahead of ours now. We requested an early pickup by 10am (the day we placed the order) since we were going out of town to celebrate the birthdays. We also placed this order a week prior so they had plenty of time for planning. Honestly if these cakes weren’t prepaid I would have canceled the order because she was terrible. Personally I don’t know if I’ll be returning after this. Customer service is important and a must in this type of business. Maybe she was busy but it still is no excuse. Especially for the price we paid!

Second when i picked up the cake the workers were very professional and pleasant. They made sure I was pleased with my cake which I was more than pleased. This was one of the BEST birthday cakes I have ever had ! I’m a barista so ofcourse I’m obsessed with coffee and wanted a “latte” cake! The vanilla cake was delicious and you can literally see specks of vanilla in there, and the chocolate ganache complemented it so well! Went here first time today.. We bought a 6 pack today. Product was not that good. Decent at most. Out of the 6, only 1 was actually moist and tasty. The rest were very dry and frosting was overpowering. We ended up throwing the rest out. Save you money and buy at grocery store. Quality will be roughly the same with much lower cost

I called at the last-minute for a delivery order for my moms 80th birthday. I had been planning something else (a fully catered big, special meal) but she ended up in the hospital causing a quick change in plans due to new dietary restrictions for ulcers. Not only did Smallcakes deliver the most gorgeous cupcakes to make her day special, but the delivery person went out of her way to keep cupcakes in controlled temperature setting until my parents were home to receive them. They went way above and beyond to make her day special, which meant a LOT to me as I havent been able to see them in 14-months due to COVID19. My parents also raved about how delicious they were! This bakery makers the authentic, delicious cupcakes. I had the peanut butter cup cake. The icing is still but I have smell the fresh peanut butter, the cake is moist. The table setting and interior are very relaxing and perfect for an afternoon tea break.

It was our first time here, we will definitely be back. All the cupcakes and cakes are decorated beautifully. The staff is friendly. The cupcakes we perfectly moist and delicious. I had the special strawberry cheesecake it had little pieces of cheesecake inside it. My 4yr old had the birthday cake. She wasn’t fond of the frosting not sure why. The frosting is sweet but it’s frosting.

I ordered a number “60” birthday cake for my husband and a small seashell cake for daughter from Small Cakes Ft. Myers. They were, by far, the best tasting cakes. The number cake had a blueberry compote topping-so delicious! This is my go-to bakery.

I ordered my wedding cake from here and it was beautiful and sooo delicious. We also got mini cupcakes, macaroons, and chocolate covered pretzels. Everyone at the wedding loved the desserts. I’m very picky about cakes and I was so pleased with Small Cakes.

Small cakes is a dream to the Fort Myers area!! I am typically not a “cupcake person”, but never pass up on the chance to stop on here whenever I am in the area. Lovely small business

I went here with a friend based on a recommendation from a co-worker. We each tried a cupcake and we got a small ice cream to share. First, the impression when you walk in is omg it smells amazing in here. Then you notice the beautiful and homey decor. Then the cupcakes; they were beautiful. My cupcake was wonderfully decadent (chocolate peanut butter), but my friends cupcake was disappointing. She got the cookies and cream but her cupcake cake was dry (we compared as they were both standard chocolate - I think hers must have been part of a different batch that was either overcooled or maybe had been sitting out - they were definitely different textures) and her frosting tasted like the inside of an Oreo which is wonderful but not quite that cookies and cream flavor she was looking for. The ice cream was half ice cream half toppings (smores flavor) - maybe even more topping than ice cream - Im sure some people like that, but for me personally I want my ice cream to be primarily ice cream. I am not docking any stars for the ice cream as this is a cake focused store. While we were there we experienced pleasant service by an employee who didnt seem to have a whole lot of knowledge of the product. We did also see a woman (maybe a manager or baker) come out with several specialty cakes to take pictures of them in the dining area. They looked absolutely beautiful. If youre looking for a unique cake I think this place would deliver.

I am Vegan and having cake is the one thing I seriously miss! I got married in January and ordered a grooms cake, vegan wedding cake and sugar cookies with royal icing. The Vegan wedding cake was amazing! Tasted just like regular cake! It seriously Was the cherry on top of my wedding day!

Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Cupcakes are just as tasty as they look!

Smallcakes has become a tradition (and a bit of an obsession) in our house for any celebration need! Tonyia and her team consistently outdo themselves with their custom creations and they always taste AMAZING! No matter how insane the theme, flavor combination, design, or size- it is always a home run. I’ve used them for at least 5 custom creations and never question who to turn too for all of our bakery needs. 10/10 recommend them :)

Ordered a cake for a suprise birthday party at work. Needless to say they went above and beyond. It was the most beautiful cake she ever saw and it was delicious. I recommend them to everyone there cupcakes are delicious and the cakes are so spectacular. If u haven’t tried them it’s a must.

I’ve had their cupcakes and they are delicious!! In fact, I have some now and I’m saving the last bite so I can savor it!! They are not overly sweet like some other gourmet cupcakes I’ve had which makes them my favorite!!! My husband is a fan, too!!!

I live in western Pennsylvania and when I travel to Fort Myers. Smallcakes is on my list to visit and eat their delicious cupcakes. Outstanding place and the environment inside is country farm chic. Highly recommend visiting
