Whole family went to this restaurant in a plaza in Fort Myers Florida and the food is superb for a small restaurant. They were busy on Sunday noon but we got seated prompt and the whole menu depicts all goodies from the land of Brazil. Appetizers really good and then main courses were splendid. The Chef goes to the tables to make sure things are great and very attentive to details. Knickknacks from Brazil all over for decorations, even a big hand painted wall panel with different regions of the South American couture of Brazil. Great Place!
Got here for lunch today with husband and sister. One large table full of deputies from the Lee County Sheriffs made me realize we where in the right place. Police knows where to find a great place to eat and if 12/15 of them are here is because my experience will be awesome. *****10-4 great lunch we had. Great prices too!
First time trying Brazilian Beer and the steaks are so good! The wife had the Skewer of Meat and it was delicious and the presentation was super nice. The Chicken Soup is the best we ever had. Fresh and lots of shredded chicken! Very good restaurant in Fort Myers.
A few weeks ago I went to this restaurant and bought lunch, that was my first time at this restaurant. The waitress quoted a 25 minute wait time and the food arrived 15 minutes late. The restaurant was practically empty. there were only 5 people dinning in at that time. I thought to myself, why on earth would my order arrive late when there is practically no one here? I told myself no big deal, certain factors may have impacted the order arriving a late. I am willing to forgive the delay and even come here again.A few days later I decided to try the restaurant again. Between full time school and working a full time job I barely had time to prepare food that day. So I said I will go to the restaurant around the corner because it is the closest restaurant from my house. I came inside and after about 7 minutes someone came up to the table, took my order and brought some drinks. The waitress quoted a 25 minute wait time and though I was practically starving I said to myself you can be a little patient, you wont die from hunger for waiting 25 minutes.For the sake of brevity, I will summarize the rest of the story. I waited 1 hour and 7 minutes which most people would never do that but I believe in giving second and third chances. After waiting over an hour, I told the waiter at the counter that I have to go because I have to get back to work. I said in a calm tone I cannot wait this long for food, this is outrageous.Please bill me only for the drinks. The waiter ended up charging me for the entire order $37.55 when I had only had 2 drinks.God as my witness, I speak the truth and do not lie. Please see the image below from my mobile bank if you have doubts. My advice is to look elsewhere unless you would like an experience as I had, having only drinks which totaled no more than $7 and they charged me for an entire order that I did not receive. Check other reviews and you will see that this is a common complaint customers have, ridiculously long hold times.
Super, authentic food and experience here.Located in a strip mall, just down from a Brazilian food market. These folks are the real deal!We like that they are open til 10pm on weekend, too. Dined in near 9 pm. Wasnt crowded.The waitperson/ host gave us perfect recommendations... we were really pleased with the quality and taste of everything we tried. Tho, I forgot to get menu pics and now cant recall the appetizers (one was like breaded and deep fried ground beef [looked like mini footballs, haha], the other - which we *really* liked was a large deep fried mound of mashed potato with deliciously spiced chicken inside).Hubby had the many meats churrasco (top sirloin, sausage, bacon-wrapped chicken), of which each was flavorful (sausage has a spicy kick) and tender. (~$20)I had picanha plate (top sirloin with rice, beans and fried yucca), which was also fresh, flavorful and the meat surprisingly tender. (~$16)Oh, and I got a delishly large portion of plantain to go, for a sweet snack later.Prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality. We will return here when in the area.
Latin South American restaurant that just made us happy today. food nice ambiance nice people. And we danced! And we had the most great food, better than the ones we had in Brazil last month, when we spent two weeks visiting.
Very pleased with this restaurant. Came in at 9 PM mostly because most restaurant were closed. So I gave it a chance and the food was great and they treated me good to. Do recommend.
Got there an hour and a half before close. They were sold out of steaks which was the main item I went there for. Ordered Fettucine Alfredo with shrimp instead. Wasnt Fettucine pasta it was spaghetti pasta. Has 5 small shrimp laid on top with one of them not shelled. Sauce taste like it came out of a can. Respond to owner it was your restaurant. My son Lucas treated me to a Sirloin dinner for two. My son Lucas and myself were very surprised. The steak was very tender and good. The whole meal was very delicious. Try it with someone you love.
Found a hair in my fried fish appetizer, took a full 10 minutes before anyone came over after being sat to ask if we wanted water. Not the best steak. Cheese pastel was oily and not even enough cheese inside- looks like a tiny amount of mozzarellaonly on the bottom of a big pastel. Ground beef was bland in the other pastel.If you do get anything, get the juice as those are good as are the small plates.Nice servers but overall I would not return.Edit to respond to owner: I ABSOLUTELY NEVER agreed the hair was mine... it def was not. I have dark black hair w green tips not blonde. Husband has brown hair not blonde. Cheese does melt but this was not anywhere near enough for the size of the pastel. I said I LIKED my small plate so I did not care about the rest.Believe me I will not be back. Have a good day

I just sat at the bar waiting to order my food and i never get handed a menu or even a drink they just kept walking past me.. i sat for 30 minutesTo be clear no one even approach me and i was sitting straight i do have manners. And i would have wished you would have responded differently other than believing on employees to what happend! Very nice place. Very good food! I came with my family and friends for my birthday on Sunday. Even though the place was packed, we were greeted and able to get a table. Great started appetizers and awesome drinks. Food took a reasonable amount of time and we were very happy with all the food ordered. Fresh salads and garlic rice was amazing. Nice b-day! Empanadas are delicious and large size. We had six to try them all. Picanha steak is soooo good!
Salivating! That is my reaction when my family tells me we are going to dine at this brazilian restaurant here in Fort Myers. We come every single week on Wednesday or Thursdays. They have the best camarao shrimp with garlic alioli. Plus the mokeca and tilapia are so good. Come and discover truly good Brazilian food. We are glad we did and we make the trip from Naples every week.
I visited this restaurant while in town last month. I came with my friend who is Brazilian and we both agreed that the food was amazing! Our waitress, who I think may have been the owner, was very nice and helpful. We ordered pastels, a shrimp dish and coxinhas. Everything was wonderful. I look forward to bring my husband here when I visit again.
Our family came on Sunday for lunch. The restaurant was packed and the bar full. The waitress told us to wait 10 minutes for a table and so we did. We are glad we waited. The food is amazing and the server was very polite. We started with pork belly and some croquettes. Wonderful experience. Then, we ordered the fish and shrimp mokeca and some fish bites with yuca fries; delish...! My mother-in-law had the Tilapia and the plate was big and tasteful. My father had the steak picanha and he liked so much that we ordered onother one complete to go and eat for dinner. So good. Yes we will be back. Prices are so good for a lot of food. We like this place, but their google posted hours arent always correct. We came by on a Sunday at 6:30 or so, and they were closed. :/It probably did make sense to close, if Sunday evening business was slow. It just made us some bummed Brasileiros to not get any food.We would still recommend though! Check it out ☺️

This cuisine is very simple of what the local Brasilian eat every day. Healthy, fresh, not spicy unless you visit Northern Brasil.This is a buffet that you would find typically in a local eatery of Rio. A nice variety and its served per kilo. ( 2.2 pounds) Of course here it is 5.99 a pound. You pick what you desire and then they weigh it. After you are done chowing down they present you with the bill.The plate that I have photograph, came in weighing 1 pound. So My meal was 6 bucks plus my AYCD tea.They do have a extensive menu with other entree costing 7-24 bucks. Bife,(beef) and shrimp plus fish etc.So if you are on a budget, and yet want to sample Brasilian food without the costly ticket this is a must visit.I have been to Brasil on/off for 20 years this is what you will find.Service is great and friendly.Sim=yes Na=no Obrigado=thank you Danada=welcomeCome enjoy.
After researching this place online, we came with our family of 6 people. We are here now and all the workers are wearing n95 masks, they have alcohol gel for customers to use, great disinfection techniques are in use here. We order appetizer Yuca fries and also 12 Brazil Shrimp. We can only say delicious. That opened our appetite for the main courses. Picanha Complete for 2 ( my wife and I ), my parents ordered the Moqueca Stew fish/shrimp and the Fish a Doré, a full fillet of fish breaded and fried to perfection. Nice entree for my grandmother. My son got the Spaghetti Bolognese and it is a huge plate with a tasty sauce that you can taste it is house made. Nice! Our daughter chose the thin beef steak with two eggs and came a big plate with white rice, beans, big cut of beef with two perfect eggs on top plus brazil fries. What a great place to have a family dinner on a budget. The portions are huge and the food tastes very well seasoned and cooked. Very good! The plaza is old but the restaurant is excellent. We will be back for sure.
My wife and I ate lunch here today. We both had the sirloin with different sides, and I had a couple of Brazilian beers. The steaks were perfectly delicious and so were the sides. The restaurant was clean and all the TVs were working. Beautiful knickknacks from Brazil all over the place, and pictures of famous customers. Service was nice, and we know that cooking from scratch takes a little longer. The reward came to our table: Wonderful Steaks well seasoned. We were visiting from Ohio, and my wife said this is THE steak place in town! Not paper cut steak at your table. Real Steaks with all the sides and really tasty. Excellent meal. 5 Stars for this little place.
So good! The steak called Picanha was the perfect combination of sirlon meat and little fat. So delicious we took two to take home. Plus, the plate comes with many sides and the price is very affordable. We will come back for sure. Very good customer service. The chef came to our table to check everything! 5 stars.
Family night out. We chose this Brazilian Steakhouse on Metro Parkway and we all were delightful. Different appetizers and all received kudos from our family. Main dishes very tasty and within budget. Very nice place in Fort Myers. Way low prices than Naples restaurants and much better taste. We approved!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The fish stew was so delicious. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and the drinks were yummy. I had 2 of the frozen drinks. One Red Spider and the other was a mango one. The sweet plantains were perfectly sweet!!

Absolutely amazing service and food! My wife and I both ordered Picanha Brazil Steak and it was perfect. Complete Meal with lots of sides. In-laws ordered fry fish and fish stew, moquica. Impressive for low price. The yuca fries and plantains is highly recommended. Bread is delicious, with a hint garlicky. We are from NY and Brazilian places up there are expensive. Prepare yourself to wait, because every plate is made to order. The menu has a good variety of dishes to satisfy everyone. To my family and I this is the place to come if you really want to taste real Brazilian food.Ohh and is a great value for the price with huge portions. Meal was served hot and excellent taste of freshness. Garlic rice is the best. Not even my grandma makes it better. Owner and his wife are friendly, polite and helpful. Would recommend this eating place to anyone. We just noticed the beautiful brand new tables and silver chairs that they got today! Congrats! We come here often and the chef is really knowledgeable.

I come here every other day for lunch. They have great service and fresh food every time. Yesterday I came with my whole family to watch the final soccer game and the place was packed. Even though they were busy I got the same smiling great service and the food was awesome. It is a small place but they do know how to cook great food.

The small buffet has excellent food, whether it is chicken, or melts in your mouth beef, and the pork the others eat is all tender and flavorful.The owners invite you in and at times you would think your in their kitchen for the way your treated. For a great meal either from the buffet or off the menu, Cafe Brazil is the place to go.

We had reason to be in Fort Myers for business, and we are looking for a dinner that was more than the ordinary. Searching on line we noticed Cafe Brazil Restaurant was not so far from our hotel. We were surprised to find a real Brazilian cafe. Complete with bar, big screen sports, and plenty of local clientele. The meals were straight from Brazil with the correct ingredients and tastes — including a homemade hot sauce made by the owner. I have travelled to Brazil for several times, and thoroughly enjoyed the imaginative blending of ingredients, and this place does them all correctly.Starting with Caprin/a, Brahma beer, several other Brazilian dishes are available including seafood. The prices are excellent. The owner and his wife are attentive. Giving the feel of a friendly local place. They are open every night but Monday, and i urge you to give this place a serious try, and think you will not be disappointment.

Fresh, Delicious, and Inexpensive! We are American and we have only good things to say. The spices (mild, but yummy) and the way the chef prepared the food are excellent. He even came out to the table to check on us -- the chef! We just tried this place by chance and it was great. The Brazilian cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and topped with just the right combination of items. The spaghetti with sauce was simply delicious and there was enough to take home for another meal. We could just tell that everything was prepared fresh and cost less than expected.

It is so good to know that our city has this restaurant that we have found. This is authentic homemade latin food with a lot of options. This place offers plates with rice, beans, chicken or beef, and the best Feijoada in town. ( great memories from Rio de Janeiro :) Their service is great and staff are courteous and makes you feel appreciated. I am glad I have found it and I will tell all my friends and co-workers. It is hidden in a plaza called Parkway Center Plaza just like a hidden gem. Come once and you want to go back daily. I paid $7.99 for a big take-out of rice, beans, salad, fries and grilled chicken smothered with onions and sweet colorful peppers. It was my lunch and dinner yesterday. Great taste and plenty of food. and affordable! Nice.

Horrible food, not good service at all. They added their own tip to my receipt, but I only even saw it at the last second, its not very noticeable. Nowhere on the menu does it say that gratuity is already included, that is disgusting business practice.

My husband and I enjoy lunch at Cafe Brazil Fort Myers at least once a week. From the greeter, to our favorite waitress, Cassia, and the wonderful food, this restaurant has become one of our favorites. Today was latin dance day and they were in full capacity. Beautiful people dancing and having a great time, 6 o’clock in the evening! The food is out of this world, and my hubby’s favorite is the Picanha Skewer. I like to try different food every time we come. Today I had the Feijoada and is so good. Weve noticed a lot of regulars at Cafe Brazil Restaurant and we are now one of them.
You need to do away with the 18% mandatory tip. Our server did not tend to us at all. There was just 4 of us in our group/1 table. I would have tipped correct and proper, but that bill insulted me.Will not be back.
We drove all the way from Naples and The place was completely packed and the host told us YES we could wait for a table.The owner saw us and came by and asked us would be ok to sit by the end of the restaurant where he could move a couple tables. We accepted. It was a wonderful experience!!! He personally took our order and was extremely attentive the entire time. The staff was kind and made sure we were well taken care of.Will be back for the amazing Picanha Sirloin and the wonderful taste of the Moqueca Stew. This is a very casual place, nothing fancy, but they do know how to please and to cook Brazilian Dishes so well. . I will definitely be coming back many times!!!
