Called to request a quote and was told they would not come out to quote unless both husband and wife are present. My husband is doing all this. I am not going to participate in the window buying decision. As a result, they declined to quote. Business must be really good.

Courtney was my sales person and she was very helpful, patient and not high pressure at all! She was always available to answer questions or concerns very promptly and courteously. The installers are amazing too!! Very polite, helpful, respectful and neat. About 8 showed up and in 1 hour they had every window and door removed! The entire house was completed in about 5-6 hours and the place was clean as if they had never been there! I would highly recommend these folks. Pricing was good too and they will work with you. Love my new front door, windows and sliders!

The door and window quality are wonderful. Insulation was done by third party, no complaints there. However, Pete the owner and a few of the employees were extremely rude, condescending, chauvinistic, and unprofessional. They purposefully delayed my installation to punish me for questioning them. I had a simple question regarding refunds during covid and it was assumed I was demanding my money back. I only asked to see if it was an option, never requested my money back. Pete threatened me with legal action and called me ignorant. Not many people can make me cry, but Pete was successful.To follow your response to my post, obviously we both have different memories of the events in question. I happen to have emails and voice recordings of what you said and wrote to me.I never suggested cancelling my order. I understood your company issues and was patient.Your company gave me permission to use a separate contractor, said that it would not be a problem. I would have never decided to do that had I been told otherwise. Your multiple emails confirmed what needed to be done for the openings. Your instruction was incorrect.Your description of politely, was truly threatening and condescending. You told me that you “would not hesitate to take me to court for the money owed”. You spoke over me multiple times on the phone and obviously were not listening to my questions.“Regardless of how you acted” says it all.I will not waste time arguing with you on google. I’m glad I can provide the public some warning. They can choose to believe or not. I wish you peace.

Got my new windows installed today and I am beyond thrilled. This is such a huge purchase and finding a company with both a good product and a good installation crew is no small feat. The installation crew was clean, thorough, efficient and friendly. The windows look amazing and Im a very happy customer. I replaced a total of 9 windows, including one large bay window which from what Ive seen can be a pain to work on but was no trouble for these guys. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a window company.

We have used Affordable Windows twice. Once for French bedroom doors and once for sliding pocket doors. We chose them after comparing their quotes with 2 other vendors.And the installations in each case were better than similar installations we had done with other installers.The installation were friendly, efficient, cleaned up afterwards, and left us with the advice and info we would need. The quality of the work and the professionalism of the crews were the best.

Went with Affordable Windows after two other estimates.They are not cheap but none of the good windows are. I am not so worried about hurricane season or break-ins any more. Helped a lot with our heat loss also since we did 14 windows and 3 large sliders. Everything looks good inside and out.

Wont make an appointment without my wife present! Really?? I explained my wife is a nurse working 5-6 days a week and on call when not working. They still wont set an appointment. We have renovated our whole house from ground up, Im pretty sure we are capable of making these decisions ourselves. Way to help support your local nurses!

Had a very good experience from scheduling for estimate to finish. Michael came out (at the scheduled time) to do measurements and provide pricing. Was very forthcoming and pleasant to work with. Answered all our questions.After we agreed to proceed, another gentleman came out to take very exact measurements for the construction of the windows and patio door. It took a while to get the windows built but. Michael and others at Affordable Windows were very good at answering any questions I had and they responded quickly. I never felt like I was just another job in the pipeline.When they (Paulus) came out to do the installation, there were many people working at various jobs from tear out to prep to install. One guy worked solely on the patio door. They were there several hours and I could tell they were very professional and good at their jobs. When they left, they explained how the windows and patio door functioned. They tested each one to ensure they worked properly. Even more importantly, they left the areas clean. They picked up all the old windows as well as all the bits and pieces inherent in such a job. Had one small issue and they responded quickly.The whole Affordable Windows organization appears to me to communicate well within their various depts and also have been quick and pleasant to work with.Its been a year, and my wife and I are still very pleased with our windows and have recommended Affordable Windows to several of our neighbors. BTW, the neighbors are very impressed with how smoothly our new patio door slides considering how heavy it is. The sound reduction and IR protection provided by the new windows is great.

All windows in our home were replaced with vinyl double pane windows. They have been in a while now and look terrific with zero problems. The installation team was amazing. They treated our home like it was theirs using drop cloths when there was any chance of dust and wore booties every time the entered the house. Could not handpick a better crew..

I called to get an estimate to replace several windows and sliding doors. They were adamant about my wife being available for the estimate. They refused to schedule an estimate without her present. This is a classic pressure tactic of getting everyone together for a sales pitch and then pressure selling you with this week only type deals. Find a local window place instead. Greatly disappointed.

Affordable Window Systems and Polusa Construction (the installation company) exceeded my expectations throughout the entire process of replacing my windows and doors. Michael at AWS was helpful, competent, and kept in communication with me regarding the installation timeline. I had all my windows replaced with impact windows and my slider replaced with impact French doors. Polusa is a top notch company as well- the installers were efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and cleaned up everything nicely after the job was completed. The windows and door transformed my home. I love them. I highly recommend the company.

The prices were better, and after we ordered, we had a project status and updated delivery info within a minute. This company was perfect in making and keeping promises. Installation by Polusa was on time and well done. Paperwork to complete County inspection was dropped off on time, and final touch up was on schedule. So rewarding to work with a company that keeps their word.

My husband and I were very happy with Affordable Window Systems. Our salesman, Nick, was very helpful in making our decision to go with this company.  He gave us a lot of information and showed us samples, including setting up a mini-showroom to show us the difference in some samples.The installation company was amazing. The skill, efficiency, care, cleanliness and professionalism they presented made all the difference in our installation going smoothly.  We were scheduled for two days and they did it in one!  They worked tirelessly in the hot, steamy weather and still had smiles on their faces.  They worked quickly, so much so, that the house wasnt open to the weather and hot for very long at all.The windows look great and I really dont think anyone would know they werent the original windows because there was no damage at all to the inside or outside of the window frames.  Some companies had expressed to us that they werent sure how to replace windows on a house that had siding instead of stucco.  Didnt faze this installation company at all.Between the great windows we purchased and the great installation, we are extremely happy.Thank you and your company for making us feel more secure during upcoming hurricane seaso

Replaced all windows in house . Shopped several companies before choosing Affordable . Their pricing, quality and no pressure approach were the main reason for deciding to go with them. I could not have asked for a better experience the install was fast and clean did not even have to touch up paint incredible!

We had 18 hurricane windows installed. Everything from the sales, to measurement, to installation went flawlessly. Inspection was delayed due to COVID-19, which is out of everyones control. Passed inspection with flying colors when it did occur. Very happy with the quality of the product and all around great service. I will definitely call upon Affordable Window Systems again when I go to get the final 5 windows and doors replaced.

We replaced the old outdated windows and sliding glass doors in the house with impact rated ones and WOW they drastically reduced the amount of sound, sun and cooler temperatures that come through. I have had only great experiences with Affordable Windows. The rep was very knowledgeable about their product. Every question I had was answered. They stepped me through my options. (I had a double entry front door put in). The installers were VERY professional. They removed my old set of doors (and took them away), and installed the new entry doors. They cleaned and vacuumed at every step of the process they even washed the glass in the doors when they finished. The installers even installed my new set of handles and dead bolt (which I had expected to do myself) without me asking them to. This is my third time using Affordable Window Systems, I had a new patio slider put in one time, and three sets of windows replaced another time. We will definitely be using them again.

Affordable Window was a vendor that was used in my community. I contacted the company and Nick brought his samples. I was sold on the quality and price, had them measured and gave my deposit. They sent a detailed package to my association and my job was quickly approved by the board. The installers were just as detailed. Everything was protected by plastic drop clothes as well as padded moving blankets on the marble window sills and floor below. The crew of 3 finished installing 6 large windows and triple lanai door in 4 hours. They left my condo swept, vacuumed and windows cleaned. The company handled the town/county inspection and followed up the next day putting the track caps in place. Nick completed the job by dropping off the Warranty and Cleaning Tips. Feel like I am part of the family!

I tried to get a simple quote from this company and couldnt even do that. Ive worked in windows and know a thing or two. I know how it works and what I want, but need to see my options with them. Because my wife works and is unavailable, they wouldnt come out to talk to just me. I tried sending in my own measurements too, but they were unwilling to work with me. I stated multiple times that shes unavailable and they just dont care to listen. It took nearly 2 weeks for anyone to get back to me either through email or a phone call just to be given further run around. I got tired of it and just told them I would go somewhere else. It shouldnt be this hard to get a simple quote. I wasted a lot of time trying to be patient with them because I know what goes into it and was trying to be understanding. I guess they dont want my business or the cash I told them I have. I understand that they want to avoid making multiple trips, but I didnt even want one trip because of COVID. I just wanted a quote to start my planning and they couldnt even do that. Waste of time.

They refuse to work with any contractors... If a customer pays to have a contractor remodel their house, they should not need to take time out of their schedule to meet with a window supplier. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Company completed installation of phase I, to include high impact windows and a new front door with side light window. We were very pleased with the product and the fabulous installation crew. Just completed phase II of additional windows and again the crew and scheduling was awesome. Currently, phase III will complete our homes upgrade of fantastic looking and functioning windows, along with the hassel free hurricane protection they will provide us. We didnt place several blinds back on a few windows as they are so nice looking we wanted to see them from the inside.We couldnt be happier! Great job. I had a situation where I needed a whole house of non-standard windows replaced (my home had been custom built by the previous owner). I approached a couple companies. A few were honest and said they could not find a manufacturer to provide them. One or two tried and then never called me back to let me know they had failed. I was so frustrated that when I spoke to companies after that I asked only to speak to the owner of the companies. I spoke to the owner of Affordable Window Systems, Peter. Peter explained that yes, it would be very hard to find these windows. That he would have to contact many manufacturers. And that the process might take some time. He said it might even be impossible (He was just being honest). But he said he was willing to try... and that he would keep me posted on the progress.Not only did Peter follow-up, but he found the windows. The really nice part was that Peter had not cashed my deposit check. He told me he did not want to cash it until After he found a supplier for the windows.The new windows are in. They look great. Peter and his staff made sure the job was done as scheduled, in a professional manner and that there was no mess to clean up after. We are completely and totally happy with our replacement windows, but even more so with honestly and professionalism of Peter and his staff. Six Stars!!!

Jacqueline scheduled time for Courtney to come to my home today at 9am for an estimate. When scheduling the meeting, she confirmed the appointment would be today and last one hour. When I called at 10am today to see why Courtney wasnt here yet- Jacqueline (the same person who took my information and set the meeting on monday) said I was not on the calendar, at all - for today or ever. Poor customer service, we will be looking elsewhere to purchase our sliding doors and windows. Respecting your potential customers time should be the highest priority.As a side note, during the scheduling call with Jacqueline - I was reminded 3 times to have my husband home during the meeting... as if I would be unable to make a decision with out him. Again, strange interaction overall - ultimately, I am very glad we both didnt stay home to wait for the no show!

Signed a contract for a set price but then they come back saying they estimated wrong and need more money ...that they cant eat their mistake ....plus workers there lie about their job title and tell us they could install a certain brand window when the owner says later that they cant. ...

10/19/21 still so disappointed in this company ....We hired them to replace all 14 windows in our home. Once the windows arrived we scheduled an installation date ( so far so good) day of install the crew showed up and started work the crew leader showed me a scratch on the bathroom privacy window ( small hiccup no problem ) Peter arrived on the job and introduced himself to the crew ( I thought the installation team was in house not subcontracted) after the install was complete we found broken glass in all areas of our house ( including in my 8 year olds bed that was across the room from the window being replaced that ended up cutting him when going to bed) there is still glass outside of some of the windows months after install. There was aslo a defective window for the master bedroom. After months waiting for the master bedroom and bathroom windows to he replaced they came out and the bathroom window was the wrong size. Now after who knows how long its finially done. Im wishing the install was as important as the money I spent........update 4-12-19 one of the new widows installed cracked when I called Travis the service manager he told me it was a stress crack and it happens he would order me a new window three months later I window was in ( after two wrong windows came in) Travis the service manager and another tech came out to install the window and I wish I could attach pictures to show you how bad the frame was torn up it looks like they use a hammer and chisel on it. Still so disappointed in this company next step contact owner.... UPDATE.... I EMAILED PETER WITH PICTURES OF THE HORRIBLE REPLACEMENT HE AGREED THAT IT WAS HORRIBLE THEN ASKED IF HE COULD CALL ME. I GAVE HIM MY NUMBER AND SAID CALL ANYTIME THAT WAS 10 DAYS AGO WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE THIS COMPANY AND THE ETHICS THAT RUN IT. 9-3-19 still so disappointed in this company, the product, and the owner. I work dam hard for my money and this was a major purchase for me and my family. Im disgusted at the way we were treated Im disgusted at the way they didnt care the only good thing that this company did was get my check cleared in the bank. Not sure if I mentioned it before but they sub the installation out so its not done in house. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY......
