Went here for one item we saw in their flyer. The shop is medium-sized and with around 10 aisles. We couldnt find the item (we walked right past it, oops!) and asked the only cashier (who looked to be the only present employee at the time) where it was. He knew immediately what we meant and where to find it. Staff definitely gets points for being friendly and helpful. Store was clean and well-organized.

I came to the store looking for foam puzzle-mats today. Unfortunately they were not on the shelves and I thought I was out of luck but Mandy, one of the employees, helped me out. They went into the back room and got me exactly what I needed.But honestly, the experience, it was a bit more then that. Its hard to throughly describe but Mandy treated me so well. The level customer service was more then I had expected in the way they interacted with me. Not only was Mandy polite and tentative to my needs as someone might expect, but I feel like they treated me like family and that shined through in the 5 minutes conversation we had. I felt like more then just a customer and that is thanks to Mandy, in just 5 minutes.Truly, Mandy has the right discipline, attentiveness, and pride in their work that any major company should look for in their management and superiors. Super abundant products, great sales & buy-one, get-one deals, knowledgeable staff. One issue: the intense chemical smell in the store makes it difficult to shop for more than a few minutes. I would spend more money if I could make it all the way around the aisles!

Always love the products but hate the service. People here always seem overwhelmed and hate their jobs. The phone is always ringing off the hook, things are out of stock and the lines are long. Same deal at the locations in Pennsylvania. Bonus this one stocks toys!

This is my own Disney World. Every time I visit my store looking for one item, go out with a bunch.

Store is very understaffed up front. I went in and had to wait about 20 minutes in the checkout line. The cashier was doing her best but when she called for help the man in the back was extremely rude to her and unprofessional. I would never talk to one of my employees they way he spoke to her. Perhaps he could benefit from some additional training on how to be an effective supervisor. I won’t go back to this location if he is still there.

The people working here are really helpful and friendly. I was in one of the worst moods ever when I walked in. I couldnt find anything on my list. I hate asking for help but had no choice. Everything I wanted was in the back but the guy helping me cheerfully went into the back, carried things to the front and made sure it was what I expected.

I’ve walked out of this place twice now without getting the item I needed because the cashiers are spending 5 minutes trying to convince people to join their membership program. Plus the only hand truck (which is why I was there the last time) was completely broken. Bent frame and wobbly wheels. Disappointing.

Went in for a tool box, I would highly recommend, Mandy is amazing and can run circles around everyone and should be in charge.

Great place to get cheap tools. Need more cashiers and computers that work, but just like most of the businesses in that area the biggest problem is the entitled, inconsiderate consumer creating issues for the lowely employees just trying to make it through the day. Once I finally got through the line to the gentleman who was struggling through having to type item numbers and coupons individually due to a broken scanner, he was extremely courteous and seemed relieved not to be dealing with an @55h0le which I whitnessed him struggling through 2 before me. Well we go thinking we could use a 30% off coupon that was sent to us. Well nope can only be used by special people who pay 30.00 a year to belong. If we cannot use the coupon then why send it out to everyoneHusband not happy and he has spent alot of money at both Fort Myers and Lafayette stores. Said they lost his business.

For a small footprint of a store, they carry a lot of hardware items. I think their tools are surprisingly decent for the price. If you sign up for free their catalog, email, and or text notifications, you can get great deals on items that are already low priced. The coupons in those are different than their in store flyers and often times many items that are on sale in the flyers are discounted even more in the catalogs they send. They do have an Insider Track Club (ITC) that have a different catalog as well as as special prices marked on orange tags in the store but that will cost you (as of December 30, 2018) $30 for a year or $45 for 2 years. Though I am not an ITC member, I have saved way more than that just being what I call being a basic (read that to be free) rewards member. I have no doubt Id save even more money if I was an ITC member. I use craftsman, husky, and kobalt tools and am very surprised at how durable Harbor Freight Tools are in comparison. Consumables are well worth buying here. I have used carbide tipped table saw blades from Harbor Freight that have lasted just as well as the name brand ones. And have also handled being sharpened as well. Their Pittsburg tools also have a limited lifetime warranty. If you are a hobbyist and use tools intermittently, I think their tools are a cost effective option.

I have been to this store a number of times. the staff is not very friendly. I tried 5 times to buy a work bench. 5 times no one had a clue if they had it or not. the last time after waiting in line to check out for 20 minutes I was told I had to wait for the line to go down just so they could check to see if they had it. I will not return to that location.

6 people in line last week and 20 minute wait to pay for tools. One person at register and other went on break knowing at 10 in the morning.

Very clean store, will a large variety of items. The quality of items isnt always the best, but they are fairly cheap. The staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking, with easy access in and out from the main road. All in all, this is a good place to get some tools and other items.

Harbor Freight at exactly what I needed. The price on the merchandise was very competitive. Offered extended warranty to put the warranty out to 2 years.

Shopped today for am extension cord and rubber gloves. Aisles are well marked, making it easy to find what I was shopping for. Check out line was long and another register was opened right away. Nice and clean.

It turned off after 30 minutes of use. I checked it and it seems fine. I changed the power cord extension, I changed to a different electrical wall outlet and still didnt turn on. I took it to the store at 9131 College Pkwy, Fort Myers, FL 33919 and the girl didnt want to give me a refund because supposedly the 90 days have passed. I purchased it on June 16, 2020, and today that Im writing this review is June 10, 2020. It hasnt even been a month. She gave me store credit. The paper I had has the purchase order date but for some reason, she said the time for the refund expired. When I arrived home, I showed the paper to my daughter and she noticed that on the paper next to the payment information, it shows the credit card expiration date 2/25. We think that the girl at the store confused the dates and maybe she thought I purchased the item on February 25. She wasnt nice eighter. I went there to do the favor of returning the trimmer for my husband cause he is at work and because Im a woman that loves tools. Im the one who makes the repairs around the house and my husband went to purchase a few things a couple of times and he said I would like the store. He also mentioned that they treated him and my son very nicely. Anyway, I told my husband to purchase the trimmer at Homedepot but he didnt listen to me. I WOULD NOT recommend this trimmer. And you know what sadness me? for years I have been receiving a shopping book from the store and almost every month I kept telling my husband I wanted to go to this store and when finally I go, It left me with a very sour feeling.

Harbor Freight is a fun store. Lots of stuff you cant find anywhere else and for cheap. They always have % off and freebie coupons too. The have a great variety of tools at unbeatable prices. I like that they are positioned NOT near the big chain stores of Lowes/Home D. They are much more convenient to get in and out of and the sales they have are too good to pass up. Very convenient to have in the neighborhood.

For bargain shopper you simply cannot find find better deals than at Harbor Freight. I love to just walk around and checkout the new merchandise or the improved current products. If you go, plan on having extra time to checkout all the current deals available!

Always fun, and cant beat the prices. I hear a lot of people talk about quality. I have literally only had to bring 1 tool back for faults or breakage. Ive had some harbor freight stuff for years and it still works fine. I did however have an issue with some predator engines.

I originally started my venture at another store. The customer service in this other store was poor and quite frankly had me steaming mad. They gave me the run around for 3 weeks, and not one person in this other store had any clue as to what was going on with in the store, much less where my order was.There were never any “managers” in the store.One phone call to the Store on college parkway and we were able to go and meet Kelly and Theresa both managers at this location. The level of customer service I received by those 2 exceeded my expectations and to be quite frank they went above and beyond for me. I can’t thank them enough for the amazing customer service. They made right what the other store made wrong.

No help anywhere. Compressor was damaged on store shelf. Was told North fort Myers store had 2 in stock. Once there they looked at me like I had 2 heads. They said inventory is never correct. No compressor there either. I wish there was even a slight hint of customer service. Total waste of my time.

Both Store and Phone service is minimal at best. I recently visited the store and also called about the same large machine I was interested in. Both times the wait was long and the associate knew nothing about the tool. They verified that they had it in stock and gave me the price but these nice people know nothing about tools or machinery. Harbor Freight is simply a place to but stuff cheap. Some of it is good, some is bad and a lot of it is mediocre. The staff is untrained in assistance but they certainly do a lot of business selling cheep stuff. On a recent Saturday visit the fort Myers store had two registers open and lines twelve people deep. I decided I did not really need all the cheep stuff I had in my basket and left. There is no value other than cheep so my summary is one star. Amazon has the same stuff for the same cheap prices.

Everything is pretty cheap here. Not really great tools, but they are usually good enough to do what you need around the house.
