Went in the shop to buy a certain circular needle but with help from Terry( not real sure of the name) I was shown a better needle. So thankful for her help and guidance. Thank you.

Beautiful shop, fantastic yarns in a wide range of prices starting below $5. Also offers help and classes. Friendly staff. Luckily its across the bridge or Id be there all the time.

An absolute gem of a yarn shop! In general, yarn shops in warm climates dont carry a good assortment. But Hooked On Ewe was AMAZING - gorgeous yarns for all weather with an especially good selection of cottons, linens, etc. The owner was very kind and welcoming, I really enjoyed my visit. If youre in the area - stop by!! Youll be glad you did.

The yarn selection is great. I found something very special. Susan helped me and she was great! But Covid has made people lose their minds...they are not accepting returns because of the contagiousness of Covid which I wasnt aware of, but they let me return it anyway. Hopefully the yarn doesnt get discarded.

This is a great place to buy yarn, learn to knit or advance in your knitting and crochet skills. The owner will go out of her way to assist you if you need specialized instruction. The online Zoom KAL has been a wonderful way to stay connected to a knit group during this pandemic.

I am a beginner and have visited twice. It is a very welcoming place. Those working were happy to help answer my questions and very knowledgeable. You can go in on Wednesday afternoons to sit at the table and work on projects with other knitters who seem very nice. Very nice selection of yarn. I always find what Im looking for here.

Beautiful shop, lots of options, good lighting, very pleasant staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and yes, left happy, especially with our purchases. Can’t wait to travel to SW FL so we can visit again

This is the best yarn shop I have visited. I really don’t care for the yarn shop in Naples so I took a drive up to Ft Myers and visited Hooked on Ewe. So glad I did! The assistance I got from Terry was above and beyond what I expected. She’s so very nice and experienced. She helped me picking yarn for my project, looked up patterns for me, and gave me addresses of web sites. I will definitely be returning! Thank you, Terry for making this so much fun!

I knit, I crochet, neither GREAT, but I seem to always try things that are difficult. Over the past couple of days I thought I had dropped a stitch and could not find it. Googled a yarn shop near me and called to see if I could stop by. What can I say, I had a mess and the owner took the time to get me back to something I could recognize. Beautiful shop. Great customer service! I will go back and recommend whoever reads this to pay them a visit.....

I visited this shop while traveling through Ft. Myers. The selection of yarns is excellent, a ton of variety and many brands I had never seen. They have the largest selection of knitting needles I have ever seen! I was so impressed. Friendly owner, lots of great patterns for sale as well.

I am so glad to find a shop that carries needlepoint/yarn. No one said hello, can I help you, or even acknowledged our presence. We were ignored as we walked around the store for about ten minutes. We needed to match some yarn and left empty handed. What a shame that customer service is completely lacking.

Was SO excited to see this shop within walking distance from our months rental. Even though I brought several crocheting projects WITH yarn Im always interested in finding new patterns and yarn. This shop is adorable. The layout is great and the yarns gorgeous and varied. Would honestly have purchased a lot more if the owner acted even the slightest bit interested in what I was looking for. I got the distinct impression from her that I was not someone she saw as a viable (perhaps repeat) customer. Her attitude was that of a superior nature as though I was not experienced enough to even bother to help me. Im certainly NOT an expert crocheter/knitter but, Im not totally inexperienced either. I expected a much better attitude from a smart business woman.

Going to Hooked On Ewe feels like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. My first experience 3 weeks ago was wonderful... Great yarn, pleasant shop, friendly customer service. My experience yesterday was just the opposite...I popped into the store because I had a question on the project that I purchased three weeks ago. The person who finally asked if I needed help didnt want to take the time to listen to my question but said ok if it wasnt a big issue. She told me it was better if I had made an appointment. I told her I sent an e-mail that morning and the response I received well I only read my emails at 5 at night, its only common sense you wouldnt hear back today. I think she should add this information to her website stating that fact so her customers would know.Her customer service is lacking and needs work so I will not be returning to her shop due to that fact.

My 89 year old mother went in to this store to ask a simple knitting question. She just lost her husband of 66 years and decided to get back to knitting. The store refused to even listen to her question because she hadn’t bought the yarn there as she just came to FL from RI. I would never go back to this store.

Visited a charming yarn shop while in Sanibel. The owner’s name was also Sandy and it was just a great visit. She helped me pick out yarn for a beautiful shawl pattern Papillon. Yarn selection was amazing! I will definitely visit this shop next time we are in town, wish we were local and could take classes.

It appeared to be a nice shop. I looked around for 10 minutes or so without ever being acknowledged. I understand that other customers were being helped, but a simple hello would have done. When I was finally able to ask one question regarding sock yarn I was treated as though I was inconveniencing her.

This is one of the best LYSs I’ve visited in years - other than those near my home in Eagan, MN. Very friendly and helpful owner, well-stocked store with wonderful yarns! If you’re a knitter and - like me, you check out LYSs when traveling, don’t miss this terrific place.

The owner is very unhelpful. I called asking what yarns she carried and she couldnt be bothered to tell me anything except all sorts. I live a half mile away, and so I went to see for myself. When I told her that her customer service was the reason I shop and order online, she threw me out of her store.
