Get the candy at this store, so yummy. Alot of nice food and snacks to get out there.
The hot food in back is my main reason for coming the price has gone up a bit but the flavor is still amazing! Love the fresh tortillas!!
Best food around. I come all the way from North Port Just for the food. True Mexican approved!
Hispanish food go for it great place.
Authentic Mexican Fare from fresh tamales to fresh tacos, and Pan!! They have a really good selection of veggies and authentic seasonings, candy, fresh fruit juices and a butcher case. So habla Espanol en Ingles.
Real Mexican food and really good and fresh. The soups and dinners to go are so convenient and delicious. Be careful though, you just dont want to take a huge biteof the jalapeno that comes with dinner! Super hot-!- But good-
Good place to get some good tacos and go when youre on the run and your hungry 😜
One of the best places to go for authentic Mexican food prep the same day ready to go you cant go wrong here so go buy yourself a plate of food and enjoy
I give this place 5 stars for the wonderful, hot, and delicious tacos!! If the tacos werent so good, I would take a star for NOT taking credit. Who doesnt take credit? But we ordered tortas as well, and equally delicious! Definitely will come back!
Bought carnitas and pico de gallo this morning cashier did not give me all my bags.. missing pico de gallo
I love this place!!! Hot plates are where it is at.
Very clean. respectful employess and the food is great
Disorganized, a mess... should be closed 🔒 forever, stay away
Food was hot fresh and very plentiful on the to go plates
I bought food in the place but I was very disgusted to see dead insects and dirt in the display case I am going to report it with sanity they need a visit
I really had an amazing experience by visiting this place. This is a very GREAT PLACE where you can get unique products, and I also RECOMMEND this PLACE for you if youre looking for MEXICAN PRODUCTS they got very cool stuffs right over here.
Thee best Mexican food/products in SWFL.
Great little store! The staff are friendly and helpful. Their pork tamales are SO GOOD and at a great price! I always try to stop in here if I am in the area and you should too!
Best 🌮 in East Ft. Myers....
I went today with my parents to get some stuff from here because we come from Miami and it’s our favorite place to come and buy mexican bread and tacos since we can’t find that here in Miami....we walked in first of all, it was PACKED and not just packed but packed with people not wearing masks. I would say about 85% percent of the people in there were not wearing any type of face covering. Shame on the store owners for allowing that during this whole COVID pandemic. Even the people working there were not wearing any masks either, didn’t feel safe at all and came back home empty handed. Fix it.
The food is great!
Love there fresh food 😍
Had the chile relleno plate..tasty.
Wow the tacos are very good here come and try..
Great service. Super friendly staff. Great food and drinks and of course ice cream!
Good prices on deli food. Great hot meals
Awsome food and service. Always one of the best places to find real mexican flavor.
Good food
Taco joint inside is fire
Its like truly being in Mexico. No rhyme or reason flow of the store. Several different types of music playing over each other, Makes me nuts. But, I enjoy the ethnic products and being one of the only Anglo Saxons there, they treat me just like they treat everyone else. We go there about once a month.
I don’t even know where to begin in order to accurately describe La Mexicana grocery store in Fort Myers. I’ll start with their amazing, authentic Mexican pan dulce (pastries, etc). The smell alone is nirvana! My children are addicted! (Myself included)Inside the market also exists a small assortment of traditionalMexican assortment of of delicious, freshly hot off the griddle food. The gals behind the counters are ALWAYS very courteous, which is remarkable considering how many customers they take care of. They are also as prompt as possible. This place is a gem and enough people have the privilege of being able to use this humble, jewel of a little market.:):)
Over priced.
Best Mexican place with a lot of variety... delicious food and fine bread!
La Mexicana is a nice little local grocer aimed at supporting the surrounding Hispanic community. Other than the basics like hand soap, bathroom supplies, and kitchen supplies they have a butcher, produce, a juice bar, bakery, street taco vendor, and a lunch counter as well as other services like phone repair. On weekdays the place is slammed in the mornings around six to seven, and from noon to one, when many people who have labour jobs stop in for whatever odds and ends they need.If you are not Hispanic you will stand out and get curious glances, but everyone is friendly and most speak working English. I stop in every few weeks or so for lunch and the food is always made fresh, and baked goods are done daily. The street tacos there are killer too.
Love the bakery!! And tacos too.
La Mexicana is the ultimate Latino food store and cafe. A vast inventory of prepared and stocked foods make it a paradise.
The juice shop is fabulous. Thats the main reason I go there almost 3 times a week the service those ladies provide is outstanding!! The tamales are good.
Best tamales. Fresh. Every time I visit. Thats my first stop always. They have everything.
Always a great selection of AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD.I come for lunch whenever in area. They are top notch for takeout.
If you want Latino flavor, this is the place to shop. They have everything you need to make your meals special. Everything we bought was delicious!
I think it has the BEST MEXICAN FOOD ever! I recommend people to try it. YOU WILL LOVE IT! 10/10

Very home style Mexican food. But nobody speaks English well in there, but the foods is bomb!
The food at the taco place is Delicious!
All natural fruit made smoothies and great fresh Spanish food ready to go !highly highly recommend!little hidden gem in fort Myers by the old fleamarket off ortiz ave.
Great food, nobody speaks English though, so you better know what you want.
Best Mexican Food ever! Groceries too!
Their food is so good and their homemade juices (Aguas frescas) are so flavorful.
Bad food .very rude customer service I ask the lady for a torta and she just turn her head on me and start taking with the other employee this place is disgusting very dirty. I wish I could give them 0 STAR
Siiii te amo muchoooo !!! So Yummy and no I dont speak espanol lol just go try it.
Good food and more
Great food, best mole, natural juices and..... a Mexican bakery on premises. Fantastico
If I could give this store a no Star at all I would not only is the customer relationship is bad, the staff nothing but a bunch of liars. The lady at the cash register are out to take what the y can from unsuspected costumers when I went back inside to tell her she did not give me enough chance she wont even look at me. che keep on ignoring me. If you dont speak Spanish dont go to that side because they will ignore you like crazy.
My friends and family enjoyed the food and the service.
Good place to do grocery. If you like bread they have really good ones.
The tacos are awsome. But the store could use some sparkle.
They got a good little restaurant in the back of the grocery store best Mexican food
I give it a 3 star store sucks but the tacos and sweet bread are soo good and fresh
This Truely Is An AUTHENTIC Florida Mexican Place... Fresh Made Tortillas In A Small Room Off In The Front Side. A Bakery, Meat Department, A Great Selection of Groceries Also Fresh Homemade Tacos, Tortas and Fruit Juices...(Please Hit The 👍 Emoji Below If You Found This Helpful... Thank You...)
I go for the prepared foods (great) and occasionally pick up some bargains in the store.
Great authentic food. Nothing fancy, but excellent!
Nice keeping up
Great Tacos, always try to hit this place when in the area.
Good tacos!! Not the cleanest place butI love authentic tacos.
The tacos and pan dulce (sweet bread) are amazing. I hate getting stale pan from other places, but this past weekend I had the softest conchas MMM they were good. I also got the carne asada tacos, they were so flavorful, Im getting hungry just thinking about it. Yes, this place is run down but I never get good food from fancy looking Mexican restaurants, Ive figured it out. Also the parking is not good, if you can even get a spot. But just the fact that this place is so crowded should tell you something about how good it is! I sometimes get the horchata but Im lactose intolerant and they do use dairy in their horchata, so I have to decide whether the possible stomachache is worth it that day. What else? There is a wide assortment of Mexican candy, cookies, spices, and other groceries. They also have some kitchen tools like tortilla makers and big pots perfect for making huge batches of tamales. I love this place.
A great place to do ur shopping and a great place to have breakfast,, lunch,, and dinner,, at there little dine in restaurant
Very poor customer service. When they open another register and service the person.behind me first because she spoke Spanish
Excellent tacos
I used to love this store. Till yesterday I order tacos for lunch and the tortillas were spoiled, didn’t notice it till the last taco . I was sick all day.
While I enjoy their carne a pastor tacos, the place is always dirty. I hate eating there because of how it looks inside so I always take my food to go
Great place to eat! Its outstanding
It is the epitome of an authentic hole in the wall.Im torn. On one hand it is not clean,is dingy, and a bit rundown with sketchy ppl in the parking lot:on the other hand they have great tacos ($2 or $3 depending on type),an awesome Mexican juice water bar (tamarindo, coconut, hibiscus, cantaloupe, orchata, and others), and every other Mexican goodie you could want in the market section.
Love the food but way to many people be there just starying the heck out of u idk why we dont go shopping and watching people sizing them up and down
The best Mexican food ever. Love it!
No elote!?! 7 dollar tortas?? The 2 dollar taco pastor is a good deal and so are the fresh fruit waters.
Good food and everything grocery you might need is here.
Some of the best tacos I have ever had!
This is where you go to get real Mexican food. Tacos de barbacoa and bottled sodas!
Is duty outside front and rear and have not higiene. Bardly parking area so tigh you dont want to go there.
Conveniently satisfied in and out great service
Great store for Mexican Staples, and fresh tacos
Their food is ok but its not authentic and the place itself is starting to look rundown not at all that appetizing.. Not returning. And to many friendly females..
Great mexican store love it happy new year 2017 enjoy yall
It says they close at 10 pm its 9:30 and the guy closed the door on my face.... nice way to do business
Dissapointed! Food was dry and old. And i get charged different prices for the same thing i get when i go in there!
Good food. But $$$$ too expensive
Not very neat. But the bread n authentic food are amazing
Great place to go for authentic Mexican cuisine and products.
Love their tamales and mexican pasteries! Has almost every mexican product sold here; candies, drinks, food, exc. Only downfall is that it is a bit more mula.
Becareful with the products theysell, each time I HAVE to go into this store its on emergency basis and I ALWAYS check expiration dates. Way to many times before Ive bought products that are weeks even months past expiration, which makes me not trust any of their food.
I just eat a taco.and I pay for 100.
Great My #1 Store👍😊
If youre looking for an authentic, and a quick Mexican hot meal, this is the spot. (you have to walk to the back where the butcher resides). They usually have skirt steak, chicken, chicharon, or pork mixed up with pinto beans, and rice served up with corn or flour tortillas.Ive never gotten sick from eating there in the many years of visiting. It helps if you speak spanish, but english speaking folks are always welcome. They have an array of latin drinks, seasonings, and other grocery items. Theres also a bakery, and usually aguas frescas (natural waters, like jamaica)
Great authentic mexican food.
Really good food. Kinda expensive thought
Good food, but the prices start to go up and after they sell all the small plate they make you buy bigger
