I would expect a small business that has far higher prices than other retailers to have exceptional customer service. These people do not. I purchased a pair of shoes that after getting them home decided I did not like. I never put the shoes on my feet other than in their store. I had thought my receipt was in my purse and when I got to the store I realized I didn’t have it. Understanding that it was my fault I thought I would go in and see if they remembered me. I have been in their small store just 10 days before and when I asked if she remembered my son and I she snapped at me and said NO.. I explained my situation and gave this mean old lady the date and time that I was there and she went back to her computer and pulled my receipt. She still refused to give me a refund only store credit when she had my receipt and all my information in her hand. I was not in the mood to put up a fuss but I swapped them out for another pair of shoes that I would wear. But I assure you I will not go back. I have been in customer service for years and if I can accommodate somebody I always will.. I don’t mind paying more money for extra knowledge and attention but this is not the place to get it..

I had a very good experience at the Shoe Boat store in Fort Meyers. The doctor at the store helped place a metatarsal pad on a new insole to help relieve a lot of discomfort from two neuroma surgeries.

Wont let shoppers in store. Obviously they are overly afraid of a very manageable pandemic, other stores do it successfully. Doesnt do much for shoppers shopping on a lunch break. Think it through!

A phenomenal store. I visited from out of town and bought two pairs, including a Vionic. Healthy, attractive shoes are like a unicorn, and this store was full of them! The owners are warm and wonderful and deeply committed to safety amid coronavirus. Keep up the great work!

I took my Godmother there and felt the store was very safe compared to another store I visited recently. They were very vigilant about masks and making sure everybody was safe.Tab was super helpful and very knowledgeable about what was needed for my Godmothers problems with her foot arthritis. Hoghy recommend this store.

This store is wonderful- every pair of shoes are custom fit. Staff is efficient and their customer service is first class. We have been coming here for 15 years. Just bought another pair of SAS brand for my husband. It has become his favorite!

I had purchased an insert for my plantar fasciitis at a running shoe store and I could not get comfortable with it, even after breaking it in as slowly as recommended. Finally, in desperation, I decided to seek the advice of a pedorthist. Tad Halberg found the problem immediately and chose the perfect insert-a month of discomfort remedied in 10 minutes! Next time Im in Florida, Shoe Boat will be my first stop as they also have a great assortment of attractive shoes that are comfortable and supportive. Highly recommend!

It was 4:25 - 4:30 when I walked in, closing time 5pm. I stood for about 90 seconds as the three employees near the counter finished ringing up the sole customer - no one acknolodged me. When they were done, the woman at the register looked up as asked what she could do for me. I replied that my doctor had recommended them and before I finished she looked at her watch and heaved a sigh so big I could hear it from the door. I turned and left. They might know shoes, but customer service - at least near closing time - is sadly lacking.
