So happy with the service Caloosa Tent & Rent provided to PLDMS. We needed a tent to hold band practices and even had a concert. They worked within our budget and found us these fun tents that set the theme for Under the Big Top. Danielle is a gem to work with. We really appreciate their attention to detail and helping us play music again.

I would like to preface this review with the understanding that this company is not known for their dunk tank, and I was surprised that they even had one since they’re more of a wedding type event company. My experience in large part will not reflect that of typical customers/events of this company.I worked as a liaison for my church. We rented the dunk tank from Caloosa rentals. When it arrived it appeared as though it was sitting in a field for a few years. Very dirty, obviously old as there were many cracks in the caulk for the display window, and we were immediately worried that it’s condition would mean that it would leak. Sure enough we filled it up and it leaked from many areas. We had to keep the hose running to make up for the leak. It was also a pain to reset the system after each dunk. Seemed like there was a part missing to make it smoother. We were very disappointed, so we reached out to the company to explain the situation. They were very understanding and apologetic and issued us a full refund after we had already used it for our event. Despite our bad experience the customer service made up for it. Good on you!

I can not say enough positive things about my experience with this company. From start to finish the whole experience of working with them for our wedding was wonderful. Danielle in the front office was amazing, very informative and new exactly what we needed to help get us ready for our special day. I don’t want to forget about Allie either in the office as she was great as well.They also had a great setup and tear down team that worked hard to get the tents in just to right spots to make sure we made the best use of our area.The management honored a discount even though they didn’t need to due to circumstances out of the companies hands which we were extremely grateful for.They even realized something didn’t get picked up on accident and allowed us to return when we got back from our honeymoon.If we ever need to plan an event again we certainly will use this company and I highly recommend you use them for any of your event needs.Thank you Danielle, Allie and staff for helping make sure our day was amazing.Corina Smith

I have used Caloosa Tent & Rental multiple times for different events from anniversary parties to wedding showers, ceremonies & receptions. Each time has been a wonderful experience. Very smooth & easy to order, many many options/supplies to choose from. Easy to arrange pick/drop off or delivery. The office staff is very friendly & knowledgeable & the prices are very fair. I highly recommend them!

Watch out for the fine details - they will stick you with the full bill if you dont cancel 10 days. I had planned a small event but had to cancel - I WAS GOING TO PICK UP THE STUFF MYSELF because of the crazy delivery fee.I will never use them again. They gave me some lame excuse they pulled out and cleaned their tables and chairs. I guess that means their stuff is not clean.I NEVER write bad reviews... until now. they have lost my business forever.

We have found the Caloosa tent and rental to be exemplary. At the beginning of the pandemic we investigated renting a rather large tent over our parking area. They were responsive with fair pricing, and outstanding service. Anytime we had a question or a need or something needed to be adjusted they responded promptly and professionally. Be very careful. Take pictures of rentals before you take them and make sure they are in great condition. I rented a archway for a friend and was given a rickety piece of plastic with some lattice attached head screws holding it together and employee said he had to glue apart back together but I said it was okay as it was the day of the wedding and I would make it work. Returned all the equipment on time one week later the company pinged my card for $160. They basically robbed me told me that I had damaged the equipment. One little piece of plastic did break off but its because the plastic was so old and brittle that it snapped to the touch. That $40 piece of plastic was probably rented out 30 times and had the nerve to charge me $160 I would never get business to this place again for the rest of my life

I have used caloosa tent rental numerous times over the years and they have always been great. I recently used them for a small holiday event. Their staff was amazing when helping coordinate the items I needed. They ensured I had the sizes and products to have my guest properly socially distance. I had to change my set up date, and they were extremely accommodating, even with a Saturday tear down. The install was quick and seamless as was the take down. This is the second wedding planning I had working with Amii from Caloosa Tent & Rental, and she makes it effortless. She is organized and efficient and it was just a pleasure to deal with them. Amii arranged for delivery and pick up of the rental items. We held the event on the beach in Captiva and they Caloosa Tent and Rental delivered and picked up the chairs, tables and chuppah the next morning. The plates, glasses and silverware were returned to her without having to clean them (they clean them there), and Im looking forward to one day planning my daughters wedding with them.

Caloosa Tent and Rental are the best tent company in the southwest Florida area. They met all of my needs to host an outdoor wedding in the beginning of August. They had the air conditioner, tent big enough to fit 100 people, while also supplying decorations, linens, lighting, etc. Amii at Caloosa, is wonderful, as well as Larry. They worked with my family and I on where to put the tent, what would be most comfortable and had the best prices in the area. Amii was very thorough on her end, making sure the invoice was correct, making last minute changes, etc. Our wedding day was perfect, and I can only thank the staff at Caloosa for helping me make my fairytale wedding a dream come true. They have all of the rental items we need and always arrive on time for delivery and pick-up. Even with last minute adds and changes, they have always come through for us!

FANTASTIC! Were so willing to work with me when I was having to organize last-minute changes from 1300 miles away in Indiana. We flew in for our wedding as we moved to IN in July before our October wedding, so picking up what I reserved 6mo ago was no longer a possibility with the limited timeline we had to work with and no longer having access to a vehicle to pick up. Professional setup and take-down the next day. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks so much for making our big day a little less stressful!

I have used Caloosa Tent & Rentals more than once.First, I used them to when hosting a small Thanksgiving event in 2004.... on the day before thanksgiving I noticed they had forgot one item AND THEY DELIVERED IT ON THANKSGIVING MORNING!!! I was amazed, especially since the entire bill was under $300!The second time I used them was for a 125 guest wedding, my own. The wedding was at 11 am, which means everything had to be set up by 9 am AND because it was turtle season on the beach, everything had to be broken down by dark.... but dinner was being served at 5. EVERYTHING WAS FLAWLESS!I would highly recommend Caloosa Tent & Rentals to everyone I know, and everyone I dont.

My friend used Caloosa Tent & Rentals and they were very happy with them. From the girls in the office right down to the guys who did the setting up. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Would very much recommend them to my friends and family.

Reserved tables yesterday to be delivered today for a garage sale tomorrow. Called at 3:00 PM today & was told that there were a lot of rentals today, but all would be delivered. It is now 10 PM and no delivery, but credit card was charged. Would not recommend.

I rented a tent for my daughter wedding a few years back from these guys. Heavy wind delayed the set up but they pushed through and saved the day. I can not recommend them enough. They saved the day and let my girl have a fantastic ceremony.

Would NEVER use this company again. Our yearly fundraiser used this company for many years, but the last three years they got worse and worse. Sending inexperienced installers caused the events timetable to be delayed. Volunteers stood around waiting to do their jobs for hours while the tent installers forgot a panel and had to start over, or put it up the wrong way. Very stressful situation. The owners did nothing to compensate us. Extremely disappointed.

This company is a nightmare. I would strongly recommend looking into another rental company. They are disorganized and rude. They delivered a filthy tent that was full of holes, they forgot the sides and promised to have them delivered and set up the next morning by 8 am. When no one showed up by 1030 I called and instead of being helpful the woman wanted to argue that it wasnt their fault, upon finally coming to an agreement they were able To deliver the sides but not set them up. Luckily we had people out here who were able to do it. It was overall a terrible experience and I will never be using caloosa tent rentals again.

This is the first time in my entire life I wished I were able to give a company zero stars.Our experience with Caloosa started poorly with tent delivery-missing parts, dirty, bent chandeliers, lights that covered about a quarter of the tent instead of the full, and improper setup. Thank heavens the chef of our catering company arrived, and immediate called Caloosa to send more lights and fix the straps of the tent. Sadly, these guys are in some of the wedding photos. The wedding itself was perfect. Pickup seemed to take the entire day, as they were extremely late and then dilly dallied through their work. (I know this because of working in the wedding industry.) Leaving the neighborhood, their pickup turned a corner and we heard a HUGE shattering of glass. We walked around the side of the house to see the pickup stopped, shattered glass filling the expanse of the roadway (hundreds of votives.) The guy got out, looked at the glass, got back in his truck, and drove off. Now, we assumed this was to either go to their warehouse and pick up brooms and boxes for the glass, but this was not the case. Instead my father, who had cancer and could barely walk, went to clean up when one of the elderly neighbors couldnt get through to their home save for the glass. Other neighbors came to help, and I called the emergency line for Caloosa. I was assured that the driver would get a stern talking to and we would get a substantial amount off of our bill. This would have made up for the myriad problems we had.Fast forward through numerous phone calls, each time being promised more and more off our bill, and still no discount. I have never heard of such a rotten company, lying to their customers as such. Our caterer vowed never to work with them again, and Ive already told engaged couples to do their business elsewhere. Ive never felt so taken advantage of in my entire life.

HORRIBLE. The tent was 2 hours late for the set up of my wedding putting me off schedule and instead of telling me they were running late they lied and said they were about to pull in. After an hour I called multiple times and my phone calls were ignored because they were nervous I was upset (quote unquote) Once they did arrive there was no tent and I continued to sit there. There was a lot more complications after that. Completely UNPROFESIONAL!!!!!!!

This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I train for a Fortune 500 company in customer service daily, and this company would make me tell 10 friends not to use them. Their communication was awful. They did not have me review the items dropped off or picked up, but claimed that they did not get the items which I had rented and automatically charged my credit card $500 plus. Please be very weary. I have made it known. I worked with Royal Shell on my Island Rental and they have told me that they will NEVER refer this company again. I would NOT trust this company AT ALL. I am HUGE on customer service, am very loyal and would give this company a zero for the service provided and for the overages in charges on my credit card that I am still paying for for items which they say were lost. I am sure that nobody stuck a spoon in their pocket leaving my wedding nor the chair covers--- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

My experience with Caloosa was terrible overall mostly because of the employee Tina. The first time we met with her she quoted us a price. Even though we thought it was overpriced, we put a deposit down, and she said she would email us the official updated contract. In all the craziness of planning the wedding we forgot about it until months later and called her to ask why she never emailed it. At first she said she couldnt find the information for us and then she sent us a contract that was $3,000 more than she has originally quoted us. When we argued it, she did nothing to help and we ended up going through the contract cutting out everything we possibly could to lessen the price, which was frustrating. Another thing is that we were charged extra for having delivery and pick up on the weekend because they don’t work weekends. What kind of rental company doesn’t work weekends? That seems like it would be their busiest time. It was probably just another way of them making more money. Then we thought everything was good, until the day they came to set up everything. She told us they could put up rolled up sides on the tents and lights too, but then the guys setting up everything said they couldnt do it. Fortunately, between the men setting up and my mother in law, they were able to figure out a way to do it (once again no help from Tina who should have known that it couldnt be done to begin with). Then came the table set up which Tina told us that the tables sat 10 people and so 7 tables would be enough. It wasnt. The tables do not sit 10, they squeeze 9 at the most. So then we had to find an extra table elsewhere to fit the chairs for all our guests. The delivery and set up guys were helpful and the best I had seen out of this company. I just feel like Tina was constantly giving misinformation to us and nickel and diming us on every little thing. She was also lax in returning our phone calls. I would recommend using a different company.

I just rented a tent with water barrels for my wedding on June 24. The contract never stated that the delivery vehicle needed to be able to be within 50 feet of the set up location or there would be an additional $125 charge. Also, the contract never stated anything about access to water. While dealing with the delivery site being more than 50 feet (it was approximately 100-125 feet) and needing to find water access, I spoke with Larry (the owner of the company) who spoke to me as if I were an idiot with absolutely no common sense or as if I rent tents on the weekly. I was given 2 options, either pay for the additional labor because your event is not our only event or they would just take the tent. Luckily my wedding coordinator was able to gain access to water to be able to fill the 55 gallon drums. Larry did not act professionally at all, the only reason that I am giving 2 stars is because the set up crew was very helpful and tried to ensure everything would be ok after the owner spoke to me as if I were beneath him simply because I am a woman. I doubt he would have spoken to my husband the same way. If the only experience I had with this company was with the set up crew then they would have received 5 stars but the owner Larry is the reason I will never do any rentals through this company ever again or recommend this company to anyone that I know for any future rentals.

I RECENTLY USED CALOSSA TENT & RENTALS FOR MY WEDDING AND I MUST SAY THE WORST PART OF MY DAY WAS THE RAIN. I WORKED WITH DEBBIE IN THE OFFICE AND A MAN NAMED REBEL AND HE PROMISED ME MY SPECIAL DAY WOULD BE SPECTACULAR. HE HELD TRUE TO HIS PROMISE AS IT DID RAIN AND THE CREW FROM CALOOSA TENT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ACCOMMODATE AND ENSURE MY GUESTS DID NOT GET WET. REBEL I THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY WEDDING DAY SPECIAL WHEN MOTHER NATURE HAD OTHER IDEAS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CALOOSA TENT!

FRIENDS AND FAMILY: I would just like to share a review of a vendor I used for my wedding Caloosa Tent Rental. If ANYONE IS CONSIDERING using them for their wedding let me just tell you think AGAIN!! THEY ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH, with the pictures I post you will be able to see. I paid $2,300 for a tent from them, when the vendors arrived they were unprofessional, rude and drank some refreshments without asking STRAIGHT OUT OF THE JUG. Not to mention the fact that as they were putting my tent up the poles were crooked and leaning to the side. I asked them to fix it and they insisted it was fine, as you can tell from the pictures..IT WAS NOT FINE!!!!! We had rain, and thank God if it wasnt for our friends and family HOLDING UP THE CROOKED POLES the tent would of been completely been destroyed, and my wedding ruined. And the worst part........need I go on was the fact i paid 2,300 of MY HARD EARNED MONEY FOR THEM TO GET ME A TENT THAT HAD HOLES IN IT THAT WE WERE DUCTAPING AT LAST MINUTE, AFTER THE COMPANY REFUSED TO COME PATCH, the tent was leaking. It took alot for me to write this review, but If I can save my friends and family some money from wasting it on this horrible company I will......Unprofessional, HORRIBLE quality, The most SNAPPY RUDE Receptionist I have ever dealt with in my life,(I believe her name was Debbie) Not what I would expect for paying almost $2,500 for something. We rented 5 tables, they were all junk. One table was completely broken and one table was unbelievable short. We will never use them again.
