I love Fort Oglethorpe Auto Service Center. I have been a loyal customer for over 12 years and even though I now live in Ooltewah, I still make the drive for them to do the work.This particular visit was to replace the oil pressure sending/switch that was the cause of my check engine light. The cost was big. But I know they were repairing the correct item and the cost would beWorth it (This shop has literally saved me thousands of dollars due to their integrity — for example, one year my truck was consuming way too much oil. The “fix” was over $2500.00. Scott called me and directed me to take it to the dealer as it was a warrantied item. He even gave me a step-by-step guide. A few days later, the truck was repaired and I only paid for the oil change!!).I will continue to use this shop as long as they are in business and I hope that is a very long time. I do not get paid or receive any discount from them for placing this review here. They are simply among the finest auto mechanics I know of anywhere. I have aClose friend who buys accessories for their Jeep Wrangler and they also use this shop and they also have rave reviews.

They replaced my thermostat and housing in my daughters car. I did have to wait almost a week for the appointment, but he got it done the same day I dropped it off. He quoted me a reasonable price and it actually turned out to be a couple dollars less. I will be taking all of our vehicles to him from now on.

I have been using Fort Oglethorpe auto service for several years now. I have found them to be very honest. I have ask Scott the owner to check different things on my vehicle, he could have done a replace or repair and I would never have known the difference. Scott does not do that if it does not need anything he tells me its fine.That says a lot for Scott and his business.

I wish I found this place sooner. I made alot of calls for prices on what I needed done and they were by far the best price. They finished in one day and my Suburban runs great. They also let me know I have a broken motor mount after test driving it to make sure everything was good. That motor mount has been bothering me for a while so I will definitely use them to repair. Great price and work!

They have done leveling and lift work for me on several trucks as well as some suspension work for my wife’s suv. Scott and his helper Josh are the best mechanics that i have ever dealt with and i have dealt with a lot in 64 years as a customer and as having them for a customer Scott and his father Willie have dealt with me when i spent 15 years in the auto parts business and Scott was in high school you couldn’t find any nicer or more polite people to deal with they are the most honest 2 mechanics i have every seen if they can’t fix your vehicle junk it it can’t be fixed 👍

Im not from the area and as I was driving I got a notification that my tire pressure was low. They were the closest auto repair shop to me and I saw on their reviews that they were very helpful, so I went in to see if they would mind to help me out. They told me they had a busy day ahead of them and that they were busy setting up shop. It would have taken less then 5 minutes of their time to help and if anything had been wrong, I would have gladly used their services. Pretty disappointed and very irritated.

Good service, if you own a Toyota Tacoma, take it to the dealer for balancing the tires. They tried, they are just hard to get balanced.

The only shop on town that charges $40-$80 to test your battery. Told me the part I needed was $187 ended up getting the part at autozone for $117. 0% chance I will ever even attempt to use this shop again!
