Most likely the best looking Walmart I have ever been in. The store is huge and all the shelves fully stocked. There were many associates to ask for help and they were all very nice. The Chinese eatery they had in the store was amazing and I was even excited about the self checkout at the store. It was done very well. I will definitely be going back there again and you should too.

Store remodel is always good. Great staff! That always have a good attitude. Flowers are starting to come in as well.

This is my go to Walmart. I love it. Even though they recently remodeled everything of easy to find. Its mainly self checkout though so keep it in mind that youll be waiting longer if you need assistance checking out

I enjoy shopping at the Walmart on Shugart Road. Staff is very helpful and kind to everyone. They have great selections and prices. I recommend this department store.

A lot of folks seem to enjoy scanning your selected items. As a married unit we are 50/50 on this. Myself I dont mind the less interaction of actual cashiers.Believe it or not the color of the flooring plays heavily into shoppers minds. Plain, off white floors indicate a time long gone by...by the likes of Kmart, Twin Fair, or Gold Circle. Darker floors and your eyes are looking up to the shelves more often. This thinking results in selection of products. But hey what do I know Im only a shopper.

Wasnt crowed and still good prices and I even got boxes

Day before Easter. Very packed and out of Easter items, obviously. They have went to two different entrances to two different self checkout sections also.

Good luck trying to ask technical questions about almost any product on any shelf especially in the electronics area but having said that everyone is very nice and will do their best to find out anything you want to know also they have plenty of stock about 97% of the time and will not hesitate to go in the back or look at different stores inventory and find what youre looking for.

This walmart was pretty nice. New and modern and updated. Their pharmacy has a drive through. There are no cashiers only swlf checkouta, but there are plenty so its nice. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Masks are required.

Had everything I needed and employees were helpful and nice. Was very crowded though.

I have been getting my scripts at Walmart Supercenter sense 2007 I recommend it to everyone

I can always find what I need here. Love Walmart but it would be great if their staff would smile a little. Just putting that out there 😉

Its decent for Walmart. I hate trying to get cigarettes though. The self checkout says it sent a request and someone will be along to assist shortly. After waiting a while, I finally have to say excuse me. Someone came over and told me that the computers dont notify them. They dont know why its set up that way or why it says that.

Always good early in the mornings or late at night when its not crowded. Would be even better if they were open 24 hours again for us people that work 3rd shift.

Walmart always has the items I need. But when I comes to fishing equipment, they fall short to keep items in stock or even bring new items in the fishing and hunting section. Always enjoy my shopping experience, just wished they would offer more in the fishing section! Wished they would compete more with other companies like Academy and Dick’s sporting goods!C’mon Walmart…. Please give us anglers more fishing and hunting gear!Thanks!

This location is horrible. The employees are RUDE. I ordered my groceries for pick up and after waiting for 45 minutes, called inside to see where my order was. I was hung up on and ignored. Went to knock on the door where groceries come out and was told to “get the f#%* away from the door” by an employee. When I expressed that I was just looking for my pick up order, I was told they didn’t know where it was and I’d have to just leave and call customer service the next day. It turned out they gave my order to someone else and they then refused to reimburse me or re-pick my order. I was never apologized to, I was never called back by customer service, and I never received my order. I was left without groceries for my kids and no money to get any. I will never shop this location again. The customer service was the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced.

I love the fact that they have pharmacy pick up in the parking lot very convenient and I dont see it at any other Walmart

What can I say its Walmart go in, get what you need and enjoy the self check out. Im glad they made the self check out bagging area bigger so the machine doesnt complain anymore. Lol

Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and ask for a map of the store unless you really need the exercise. On the plus side there are plenty of employees trying to keep the shelves stocked to answer questions and provide directions. On the negative side there were only a few checkout aisles staffed with the majority having been converted to self service pay stations. From soup to nuts and bolts, furniture and Halloween costumes... everything you need under one roof and dont forget the boxes of Krispy Creme pumpkin spice doughnuts.

Its a great place its not completely handicapped accessible for wheelchairs when certain events are going on

This Wal-Mart has bigger selections since theyve finished doing the remodeling. All of the departments are stocked with larger selections & I can always find what I am looking for. I love the new layout so much more. I never have to wait in line anymore to check out. I can get in & out pretty fast now.

If I could give this store zero Stars I would! They are constantly out of products and some of the things that I get they have been out of for months now! One product that I purchased all the time is the CLEAN AND CLEAR ACNE SCRUB ( NOT THE WASH) and they have been out of that product for around 3 months or better and there is still a label and space for it next to the wash so doubt they discontinued carrying it! Its very frustrating having to run around to different stores in order to buy products that I used to be able to get at Walmart so now I have pretty much stop shopping with Walmart and have now started ordering the majority of my things through Amazon.

This is specifically for the pharmacy staff (Mr Sky). I want to express how appreciative I am for all y’all do. Today I came twice and waited for close to an hour in the drive thru. Y’all were incredibly understaffed today and the lines were long. People were very irritable. I actually encountered a hostile man who tried to take his frustrations out on me. I nipped that in the bud quick though. I knew of and sympathized with ’all’s struggle, as we face this same issue at my place of employment on a regular basis. I am very thankful for your hard work and the patience you have to deal with some of these individuals. Without you, so many would be without the medications necessary to recover from illness and even to survive. Stay blessed and stay safe. :-)

Great. Not too crowded for a Friday night payday. They have changed every thing around so it was hard to find items I was looking for but there was usually an associate close by who was good enough to help me locate what I needed.

Definitely don’t like the changes with less cashiers. New store layout is fine. Selection and prices are good.

Large supercenter with only 4 actual checkout registers in the whole store and only one was open. Walmart needs to start paying us to check our own groceries. Find a different store.

Love the new checkouts since I dont have to deal with rude Walmart cashiers anymore. Although all the employees now are just hanging around the cash registers and watching the customers, playing on their phones, and chatting about personal things. So now that I did their job, scanning and bagging my groceries, while they watch. They can do mine and take my groceries to my house, unload them, put them up, then fix dinner!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but tonight there was an employee named Tony that deserves recognition. He was working hard stocking shelves tonight and saw me not being able to find something and went out of his way to help me twice without me even asking. He has awesome customer service.

Yesterday I was told I couldnt exit through the home section because they were understaffed. It was 7:20pm. I had my 2 year old with me and a TON of groceries. You cannot close an exit because you are understaffed. The representative didnt want to go get a manager to refund my $200 purchase, so I went out of your locked doors. Customer service means nothing to this place.

Out of stock of a few items I get regularly. Kind associates for the most part. Not as clean as I would hope, bathrooms were a nightmare. They dont honor the price on the items or on the shelf where the items are. They just tell you another customer must have put it there. I asked about the box and 7 others in same spot, elderly self check out didnt care. I asked to just remove it and she kept trying to get me to buy it at a price it wasnt worth to me. She also wouldnt check the spot or send someone to check it. So this is a Wal-Mart.

Good service. I just wish they had more actual people manning a register.

1st time Ive been to this location in years. I saw the entire front of the building full of self checkouts and almost turned around and walked out. Luckily they still have four checkout lines with people to check you out. I probably wont be returning to this location though. Im not a fan of self checkout.

Staff is too busy chatting to each other to assist customers. Some of them are even extremely rude to customers. Not a good place to shop.

Personally, I LOVE having more self-serve machines. I just wish the queue for waiting on them was better. Currently people block the flow in the front of the store waiting to check out.

Restrooms are clean and well stocked store. Employees are helpful and courteous.

Because of the expanded self checkout, was in and out in no time. Also had to return an item and it was a breeze to do. No hassle as usual.

Im an employee there and I have read some reviews about this location and all I can say is that our store like all businesses has its downside. But that most of the time that is all people post about but what people dont write reviews about enough is how even though there are long lines or not many registers open is that majority of the employees really work hard to make sure the customer is satisfied and happy when they leave Greenway View drive. Just because you have a bad experience with one employee who is having a bad day please dont assume that the whole store is full of employees with an attitude. Dealing with the public is not an easy task for any employee who deals with the public....just keep in mind everyone has a bad day but not everyone knows how to put those emotions aside and conceal them to get through the day. My experience as a customer trying to get in and out...I had to stop and check myself and realize I dont live in a world by myself because if I did then there would be no Walmart or a place for me to even to need to go to Walmart for so try wearing humble and be blessed. The one stop shop will never not be busy.

Store is beingcompletely rearranged. Aisles ate now very narrow and in some cases only one cart wide. Poor planning/implementation with no thought of customer inconvenience.

To be honest, this walmart always results in extra trips to other walmarts. They are just never stocked with items that we need as a family.The workers are in a hurry and the days of customer service being a focus are long gone.

Couldnt find employees to help. Not enough employees period.I waited for over 10 min for an employee to check me out Im law and garden. I finally found someone he said he couldnt help me. So I had to ask him to.page someone. No one ever came. He was unconcerned about the lack of help.I had back surgery 2 weeks ago. That was the whole reason I went to lawn and garden, but I had to go up front and check myself out.This is NOT the 1st time this has happened.Then the people doing online shopping block the alies and no one can get around them. They just look at you like your in their way.Truthfully if their was a Target close by I would not go to Walmart ever again.So yes the service is very unsatisfactory. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would rate you with a 12 !

Its Wal-mart. What can I say? Mediocre prices for the same selection theyve had for years. Groceries are expensive but big variety. If i have a list of my regular groceries I can usually do better at my local grocery store, using my coupons and store card. Mask requirement, distancing and shopping paths are all enacted here and being blatantly ignored, because this is the South. Science doesnt live here. You will see people you know here every time. Like any Wal-Mart, the biggest negative is the bulk of the clientele that makes up the crowd.

Although there wasnt very good staff it was easy to find the stuff the manager was kind of a jerk but at least you didnt have to deal with them!!

Dirty and constant attitude from employees. They always want to check my bag. When using the self checkout the attendant knows what you got so you can’t skip out.

Walmart is the store I hate to go to but love that its there to go to. I hate it bc its always over crowded, its always hard to find a parking space and I always spend too much money but I love it bc you can pretty much get everything you need under one roof.

They have went to basically all self scan your own groceries with exception of 4 registers. Its rediculous. They havent dropped prices or give you discounts for doing their job. I hate Wal-Mart. I only go when I absolutely have to go.

This review is about the closing time of the service desk at the supercenter and market, and it is just to help some people save a trip if its after the time that the service desk has closed! (Im sorry I didnt get straight to the point🤭) I love Walmart for having almost everything we need at one place, and the low prices are even more appreciated by our family. They also have a lot of convenient services we use. That being said, right now with their hours being compromised because of the pandemic, it is harder for us to use their money services (mainly check cashing in our case). I never have gotten there early enough to see the money center actually open since the store started closing at 11PM, so weve had to use the service desk for cashing a few checks (no problem at all). Well come to find out after two unsuccessful late trips trying to cash a check, the customer service desk actually closes at 10PM. There were no other ways for Walmart to cash it for us, since their money center was also closed. The first time we were too late the employee didnt actually tell us the deal with the service desk closing at 10, so that is why we ended up making the same mistake again. I just wanted to help someone by putting it out there that the customer service desk closes at 10PM, so get there before 10:00pm if youre wanting to cash a check (& possibly other things that require the service desk) :) Quick Note: the Walmart Market in Fort Oglethorpe has closed their service desk at 8:00pm three different times of us trying to go there to cash a check, in case that helps anyone as well!
