1st visit. Broke tip of my fishing rod yesterday and someone recommended this place. 1st pleasant surprise; they were open on Sunday! Employee was friendly and asked to see my rod. I started to ask when I could pick it up but he walked away to his workbench, and in less than 15 minutes it was repaired!! Total cost for this immediate repair? Under $5!! I WILL be back.

Very helpful and straightforward. Adam could have sold me anything and chose to keep it simple. Appreciate it and will be back next year!

Place won’t spool a reel 15 min before closing time. Glad you are doing so well that you don’t need the business. Debrooks hands down will have all my business from now on or West Marine.

Not sure skin color had to do with it or the guy inside was just having a bad morning but he would not respond when speaking to him. He just continued ringing up our stuff. Loved that they had live shrimps but would be going back. I do like to be acknowledged when doing a business transaction.

Gentlemen there was very helpful hooked me up with a resident fishing license.Rod reel and everything I needed to get a line in water.

Have shrimp that are babys. Thats if they have shrimp. Little sighn on door will say no shrimp. But sighn on building can be saw. Most bait shops cover the sighns. So u pull in only to have to turn around. It sucks when hauling a boat. I was a reg customer. To bad Inlet Bait is up on left. SEEMS LATLEY THEY HAVE HAD CROACKERS....Great bait maybe their getting it!!

This business treats customers really poorly. I am new to town and they screwed me, and when I respectfully tried to call them on it, and give them reasonable options for a resolution, the manager isnt here was their line to me on 5 visits, and multiple calls. Please go to DeBrooks, Whites tackle, West Marine, a great Bait Shop on US 1 near the seaway bridge that doubles as a Uhaul location (live pinfish) and even WalMart before giving this place any business. Bad businesses like this need to go away, they are making Ft Pierce look bad...

Bad attitude

I was visiting Ft Pierce from NH and, based on the positive reviews, I stopped in to The Fishing Center to pick up a rod and reel combo to throw a few lines in while on vacation. I met Clint as I walked in and he took the time to put together a perfect combo based upon my needs along with some solid local tips for getting the most out of my time on the water. Awesome experience! Will definitely stop by the next time I’m in town. Thanks Clint. Everything was perfect!
