I’ve been driving past this diner for a few years now and finally decided to stop by. I was quite impressed with this diner. It was much cleaner than I anticipated and the food quality was very good as well. I ordered the 12 honey-garlic wings and fries. They came in a bucket which was different, but they were some of the best wings I’ve had in a while. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was excellent. I’ll definitely be back again.
We came for a late lunch on a Saturday and we’re able to be seated right away. The staff was pleasant and attentive. I had a BLT w/avocado. It was delish! We also ordered a bacon cheese burger and soup & salad. The stuffed pepper soup was hot and tasted great! The lettuce was crisp on the salad and the BLT. The burger was cooked perfectly, too! We ordered sweet potato fries and they were cooked but weren’t very hot. That’s the only thing that I would say I wasn’t in love with.
Wednesdays 11am to 3 pm you go to the back door and they will give you a plate of food for free. Got stuck on the bus trying to get there, called to let them know my dilemma. I finally arrived, told them my name. I was told to sit and handed a menu to order anything I wanted. I couldnt believe it. They blessed me and the server is so courteous and respectful. Everyone and everything was wonderful. I love their hearts.
The staff and food, and prices were all good. Enjoyed meeting Destiny, our server. She has great personality/ people skills. Im from the Nashville Tennessee area, but its not to awful far, Ill be going back. Thanks again. Best of luck in the future.

They have crepes! and good ones too! The wait staff is a bit overburdened, and where isnt it like that. They were very up front about it when I came in. Really good food,& despite what they said the service was just fine. A bit better than I expected from a diner - was very pleasantly surprised
When I arrived the waitress was very busy due to short staff but the cook solids come in and he said what do you need and he started cooking it within less than 10 minutes we had our food it was great this place is the best place around that area and its probably the only diner in that area I would suggest before any place else go there and give him a good tip because they are very nice people they even do a feed the homeless every Wednesday have a great Saturday Rock on
Eggs that tasted and smelled like FISH. Waitress didnt check on us until we had finished our waffles and bacon. When we told her the eggs were nasty and we couldnt eat them, she smelled them and agreed. She ran to the kitchen with them. (To get new ones?) Did not ask if we wanted them remade. She had already brought the bill, and we were done by then, just wanted to leave. Went to pay and they charged us full price. My husband had to ask of they would comp the eggs, and they made it seem like a big deal. Wont be going back.
I am new to Fort Pierce. I love this diner. Very good portions at a reasonable price. I love the country fried steak for breakfast at $9.95 includes 2 eggs, hash browns or home fries and toast or 2 stack of pancakes. The tuna melt with onion rings is $7.95.Good coffee too! Menu prices could change with current inflation and supply demands but still the food quality is really good. The sign out front is always memorable. Cant beat it for quality and price and I have never walked out hungry.
My wife and I eat at sweetie an excess of 3 times a week. This restaurant is clean and comfortable. When Im there, my wife and I can hear ourselves talk, its so peaceful. Sweetie staff is always pleasant. When place an order it dont take long to receive your food. This is a real post, because of our experience as a customer. Keep up the good work.Terry R Miller.
Charming classic diner. Lovely service with fairly priced delicious food! My only regret was that it did not have outlets for long term study sessions or work sessions, so it is not a good place for that, bit it opens early and has good food.
This review is going to be very simple, if you want to throw your money away and you want attitude from the employees than this is where you go I blame management, so when the captain can run his ship. He should jump off
8/9/21 6pm We walked in stood at the door Mr Bow tie and another girl looked at us but ignored. A customer sitting at a booth greeted us and told us to seat ourselves chit chatted that we were visiting the area… Mr Bow tie and another girl seemed mad at the world… tickets printed for the Asian looking cook. He verbally says “y’all are killing me”. Seemed to be upset to cook for paying customers.. He filled orders quickly but we saw our order in the window and said to ourselves can we get up and get it ourselves?? Country fried steak. Average for diner food, potatoes old and cold. Same for green beans. NEVER STOPPING THERE AGAIN.
After driving by several times just to read the outside menu board that always keeps me entertained and informed of Ft. Pierce activities, I decided to enter the establishment and see what was up. Sweeties has that old time diner feel with awesome food to match. The wait staff was just as awesome and service was fast and friendly. Sweeties is truly a place for everyone, even kids!! Go check it out!

Hamburger was not cooked the way I wanted it. The mashed potatoes were instant and was awful. The waitress did take the food off my bill but i wont be back. Just wasnt what i expected.Thought it would be more like home cooked meals but was more like fast food.
Attempted to have breakfast here this morning. The staff was clearly in a bad mood and even stated it to the table sitting behind me. The restaurant was not busy. After waiting 10 minutes for a server to at least offer coffee, I decided it would be best to leave. I also saw the food just sitting on the line during those 10 minutes and the cook just let it sit there. No bell chiming for the waitstaff to get it out while it’s hot. Speaking of hot the AC isn’t functioning. I will not be back. Poor service, poor attitude, unfriendly.

Food was cold, dry and pathetic looking. It was so bad that we literally walked out and refused to eat it. The waffles we ordered seemed like they were just merely reheated in a microwave and were by no means freshly made.Response to owner: I find your response just characteristic of the service I received at your establishment. I am not sure what you are trying to insinuate about leaving food behind, but most of my profile reviews of restaurants are positive, so it just goes to show how truly horrible it was for me to take the time to review and post it. Just in case there was any doubt as to the legitimacy of our visit, I have included a picture with the timeline from google showing when we visited your establishment. Perhaps you should consider retraining your staff and yourself in what customer service means. All it would have taken was a simple apology and even an offer to remake the food. None of that happened. I understand that even the best of places have one off days, its all in how you handle it that makes the difference, and you and your staff dropped the ball on this one.
This was my first time, I liked the decor retro looking, my server was Donna who was awesome. She was very friendly and happy doing her job. She made me feel at home, I started with the chicken dumpling cup of soup. The broth was thin but not lacking any flavor really liked it . I was tempted to order a bowl but I had a meatloaf coming. The meatloaf looked dry but was moist and very tasty, the mashed potatoes were just done love the small lumps of real potatoes not the box kind, the green beans had little bits of ham liked it. I will be back with the family so they can enjoy what diners are . Great place good luck .
Very clean and up to date place. Staff was helpful and nice and our food came out quickly and reasonably pricedJust had dinner, again, and ordered the same seafood plate as last time as it impressed us so much. It didnt dissappoint, this time either. We, also, ordered the prime rib. What a good meal at an outstanding price! Place is still well kept and clean and staff is eager to help.

I walked in today with an attitude because I was so hungry. When we got there our server saw how upset I was and asked what was wrong the whole staff so was so friendly and welcoming the Owner Rick tried successfully to make me laugh and came to the table multiple times to check how everything was going. When we went up to the register to pay we were told He payed our tab! Truly a blessing if I could give 10 stars I would. Definitely left feeling 100% better than I did when I walked in.
The portion sizes for what you pay are abysmal. I could have gotten better deal at the cracker barrel for a country meal. I want to support mom and pop over corporate joints, but you have to give us a better price then this. The atmosphere and your staff who are wonderful however.

Burger just short of being raw when ordered medium, and fries luke warm. Not happy with this diner, and wont be going back.

They need to step up on their chicken and dumplings, dont forget the chicken.I always have breakfast personally. Eggs sunny side, sausage and ham with tomatoes on the side. Enjoyable every time.
Had an early breakfast here...it was great! Service was efficient in Friendly the place was very clean, love the home fries and spinach feta omelette! Will definitely be back

Ordered wings for my hubby...he liked them. Mild flavor. I ordered the Mac n chez....not happy. Looked like a cheap box of Mac n chez from save a lot. Mushy cause ITS OVERCOOKED. SO... I called and to my surprise was helped by Colleen...manager was not in but she should be the assistant...when the manager isnt available. She was so nice and helped me. We dine here often and because they do serve home cooked food...I expected my Mac n chez to be just that home cooked. None the less.... because of Colleen and the other menu items that I trust and the service we will continue to be back. Thanks Colleen....true team player and problem solver....give her a permotion!! Anytime we eat in...we will ask for you Colleen.

Food was just OK but service very good. Green beans no flavor, fried chicken over cooked and the price did not include roll or biscuit. Staff did not wear mask and no spacing between tables. Did not see COVID-19 table cleaning.

Ordered a $40 breakfast from GrubHub didnt get the orange juice we asked for the portion of home fries so small country fried steak not good at all anybody reading this dont go to sweeties its a waste of your money!!!

This looks as though it’s a chain restaurant, but it’s not. The staff and management are very friendly, helpful and courteous. The menu items are unique and cooked fresh. The one thing that impressed me the most is the value you receive for the Quality of food that you get. I was very impressed and satisfied.A couple of the menu items;The patty melt – $6.00, burger with grilled onions and cheddar cheese on grilled rye served with french fries and cooked to order.Ribeye steak sandwich – $11.95 charbroiled with grilled onions, mushrooms and mozzarella on toasted garlic Texas toast.meatloaf Dash $12.95 served with mashed potatoes and gravy and a mixed veggie.Stuffed avocado Dash $8.95 stuffed with tuna salad and served with tomatoes and cottage cheese.No matter what you get there, you’ll enjoy it.
Food was great. Music will put you to sleep especially after an overnight shift. Almost fell asleep in my eggs.

Usually in other restaurants, the waiter would take it away upon notice by the customer, not at Sweeties.- No matter individuals feeling about wearing mask, public servants should wear a mask by respect for their customers. Cuffing while serving without a mask isnt respectful...

Absolutely appalled at no one working there is wearing a mask or social distancing. Not even the cooks in the kitchen. I asked why and was told that the owner told all employees that they don’t have to wear a mask or social distance. He must be a real a-hole with no regard for his customer’s safety. Avoid this place like the plague as it is what they are promoting. The owner claims it is not true, but a waitress told me this. So he is not just an a-hole, but a lying a-hole

Excellent breakfast on a Thanksgiving morning! My wifes breakfast burrito was excellent; I had scrambled eggs, hash browns, pancakes, sausage patties. Good price; nice people.
This morning I found myself with a little bit of extra time while waiting for my wife at an appointment and I decided to get out for breakfast. I search the Internet and found Sweeties Café locally. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile, a warm, clean and attractive environment. My coffee was delivered immediately, hot and delicious! Judy was my waitress and she was absolutely terrific! I ordered the Indian River skillet breakfast with pancakes. My entire order was ready and on my table in five minutes! The pancakes were fresh and hot right off the griddle. The skillet breakfast was truthfully the best skillet breakfast I’ve ever had! I highly recommend Sweeties Café and sincerely believe you’ll be glad you when you try it!
