Weve waited since December 3, 2020 for a response on our order which was invoiced and paid ($336CA), with nothing to show, and no response back. We have heard others with similar situations, and the Better Business Bureau of Arkansas knows this company through complaints. DO NOT ORDER you will be scammed and let down.

So disappointed. Ive seen their work in person and I was very impressed. Great quality stuff and I was excited to get one of my own. Ordered a strap and went over details with the maker. Very helpful and they got me an invoice quickly so I could get on the schedule. Was told 2 weeks for a turnaround. Then... they completely disappeared. Calls and emails went unanswered. Looked into them after that and saw I wasnt alone. After trying for a couple months I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. Could not be more disappointed. They have a YouTube video where the owner talks about their quality and says you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, I did not. So sad really because they clearly have a gifted craftsman. But you go from craftsman to criminal real quick when you take peoples money and dont provide what was promised. Thats fraud and you should be ashamed. Buyer beware.

I echo so many of the bad reviews - I bought several straps over the years and they were great - the last one was purchased early in 2020 and since then had to endure a litany of false promises and condescending lies which graduated over time to no responses and, as you will not be surprised, a complete no show of a $400 product that was, of course, paid for. A completely dishonest and cowardly way to handle things and an abuse of our trust and attempts to support an independent business - people like you give independent businesses and online sellers a bad name. One star is only because zero stars are not possible

At this time I feel like this is all I can do... The day I found the strap I wanted I shot a message/question to their Facebook at 11pm expecting an answer next day but the sales service (Bobby) was so fast to answer and make the sale i was impressed. But once they had my money its impossible to get a hold of them. The order was made months ago. None of the numbers they have listed pick up. Their Facebook messages show Read with no responses even after sending multiple even though this is where all of the communicating was done. Was told it would ship out early next week, a week ago... Then back to being ignored again now that its the following weekend. Ive owned and ran businesses before and I know delays happen, all Im looking for is an HONEST response to whats going on. If I dont get one soon ill be reporting to BBB as a scam as well as speaking with Credit card company and disputing the charge... If resolved soon this review will be taken down and changed based on the quality of the product if I ever get it...Update as of 9/3:Got a response on Sunday(8/30) by text stating that It will go out tomorrow will have tracking by 6pm-Never received tracking, have sent 6 more messages at different times since then, now its Thursday and back to being ignored again with no update. Neither phone numbers available pick up either.Update as of 9/7:Still being ignored on all avenues.No email response, no phones pick up, text number does not respond, Facebook messenger shows read and never replies.

Ethos Custom Brands has RIPPED OFF MANY CLIENTS so watch out because you are next. I wish I had read all the TERRIBLE reviews before putting down my money and ordering a guitar strap. I have been waiting for my strap since July 2020. In the beginning, Ethos came up with every excuse you can think of as to why it was delayed. Then they just started lying by saying that it shipped, multiple times. They would either not provide a tracking number, or sometimes it was a fake number. 7 months later, I have not received my strap and Ethos and Bobbye stopped responding to emails and texts in September. If you want to KISS YOUR MONEY GOODBYE, Ethos is the company to do it. Shame on you Ethos and Bobbye.

I placed my order in June of 2020. I was very patient with ethos until I became worried that I may have been scammed. I checked online and saw the other reviews where people are claiming to not have received their orders. Still I thought this may be because of Covid, but what I found alarming was the amount of reviews, on this site and others, that claimed the owner has lied to them or has simply not refunded their money. After 5 months, in November, I decided to try and get a status update or some form of communication by sending an email to their customer support email address. No reply. I then sent another email a week or two later and just asked that they would reply to me with an honest explanation and still have not received a reply. It is now December, 6 months since I placed the order, and I have yet to receive a reply or my order.At this point I would not recommend ordering from this company. The pictures of their product look amazing and they had great reviews prior to 2020, I think there must of been a change in management or a loss of a key employee because the negative reviews were coming in before Covid 19 really took hold and it only got worst. Just look at the reviews yourself.Regardless of how low of manpower or supply they have this company has forgotten that communication is their greatest tool and if they would be more transparent and put in the extra time just to make the customer feel important I am sure they could avoid these negative reviews.If you really want the products this business provides I would wait until the reviews turn around and they get their acts together.

I ordered and paid for a guitar strap for my husbands birthday on Dec. 29, 2020. I tried to sign back in to my account the following week and their website had been removed and their phone number has been disconnected. I have no guitar strap and they have my money. Lesson learned....look at the Better Business Bureau before ordering from unfamiliar websites. If I had, I would have seen all of the complaints against this company. I have filed a complaint and disputed the charge on my credit card!

I wrote a very bad review few days ago which I deleted cause the situation has changed and it wasnt fair to keep it on record. The bad review made was due to unacceptable delays (almost 4 months instead of 25 days) and I was worried they are a total scam and I would not get anything ever.But, all 5 straps ($875 total) came in yesterday. I have to say the build quality is great. They are beautiful and as advertised in their website.As for the huge delays, I can now believe that it was probably due to Covid19 and breakdown of supply chain. So, potential customers beware!! You will get an awesome product but you might get it a lot later than they initially promise.

These criminals are stealing money from people! They NEVER send you the product but will send you fake tracking numbers. They don’t respond to customer emails either. I encourage everyone who has been scammed by this company to report the fraud to their bank, BBB, credit card company, etc. I’m shocked they aren’t in jail.

Bobby MacAdoo (Director of Sales, Ha) has been lying to me about the status of my order for over a month now. She promotes that my order has gone out, will go out, went out etc. but I never get any shipping info. She has promised on her word she would do something and did nothing. She has never reached out to me. I always have to call her. I asked to be forwarded to someone else and the coms went dark. I expect this is a total scam like many of you have stated. I have filed a complaint with the BEtter Business Bureau and suggest you all do the same. There may be a class action suit or other legal action that can be taken to at least prevent others from being ripped off. If Chad Little is really the owner he needs to held accountable for his companies actions. Don’t believe the long list of excuses they trot out to cover what ever is really going on there. This will make for an interesting piece on the local news where they have the spot to address things like this. You know a 60 minutes like thing where they catch Chad and Bobbye in the parking lot with a camera and a reporter asking why so may problems?. Why so much dishonesty? The day is coming. Soon........tic....took......tic..tock.

BEWARE!I bought a custom $300.00 strap from this company back in May. I dealt with the CFO of the company. They sent me an email asking to confirm the strap. I sent an email back letting them know the strap would not work and they sent me the strap anyway. I emailed the cfo back when the strap arrived. He apologized and acknowledged the mistakes made. Told me he would send me new pieces to make the strap work and asked for the pieces back.I never heard from them again. 6 weeks later I found out the person I had been dealing with was terminated. I spoke to the owner of the company. He blamed me. He said since it went so long I was not entitled to a new strap. I explained he had my strap and his employee was the one who asked for the pieces back. He said that he needed to confirm that the pieces came back- his employee supplied me with the return label. I checked. It arrived 2 days after I sent it.After 3 months of this I have bought another strap for my guitar. I simply asked for my money back and he refused. He has my $300.00 and I did not get what I paid for. I did not want another strap.This was a very unprofessional company and process.He told me he had 1000s of good reviews and he did not care about my review. Now I have to get my bank involved if I want my money back.That is really sad.

Super Disappointed in this company. My husband is a guitar player and needed a new strap. I looked through many sites and styles. After a couple of months of emailing back and forth with Bobbye, on April 8th I gathered the money for what we considered a Very large purchase (more than 200.00), and paid for the strap my husband picked out. I asked Bobbye that evening when to expect the strap, I was told 10 to 14 days as there were no delays, but it could take as long as 28 days. On the 23rd I called and texted, and was told to expect our strap to begin and be sent out within the next week. On the 28th I found out our strap still had not even been started (Again I am initiating all calls and communication). On May 6th I contacted the seller again, On May 8th promised a phone call or text but didnt get one. On May 15th I reached out again... At this point Im frustrated, but was told that the Lining that is needed to make the strap had finally arrived, and was told I would have the tracking number that day! At this point, she stopped answering all of my calls and/or texts. On the 17th I messaged because I did not have the tracking number and again on the 20th. ON the 21st I called, texted and emailed she would not respond to me, so my husband called. He was told his strap was finished and being shipped that day (the same thing I was told the week before), and that we would have the tracking number that day. On the 22nd we reached back out to her, she did respond, but stated that they were out of electricity, and she was working with her computer, but would have us the tracking number within the hour. The 23rd, she stopped responding to both of us again until the 26th when she told my husband we would Again have the tracking number that day, and our order was being shipped that day. On the 27th we have submitted a request for a full refund and will file a complaint in every department I can think of to file with. We are asking for a full refund and review on this company.In every phone conversation, Bobbye is polite and offers a ton of excuses (Family emergency, meetings, other clients who take too much of her time, not to mention COVID) and she seems to make you feel heard... but she has never followed through once with anything promised... Nothing. I initiated all communication once the money was sent.

*** Update ***I received a message from Ethos after I wrote this review. They said they were sending the strap anyway. I told them that I would update my review after I received it. A few days later the strap I ordered arrived. I will say that the quality is very good and it looks like the photo. I really do like the strap. Having said that, I would consider ordering from Ethos again in the future. I am also changing my review to 3 stars.***Original Review***Buyer Beware! They have a great website and do all of these Facebook/Youtube Live videos and make it look like they are legit. They are not. I ordered a strap back in February. After several emails into LATE March they repeatedly claimed the strap was done and it was shipping or already shipped. They provided a tracking number that never left the initial status. Every time I inquired about the status of my strap, the story was different. I ended up filing a PayPal claim to get my money back. I just wanted the strap I paid for.I also had a buddy of mine who ordered 3 straps right before I did have the same experience with Ethos as I did. Excuse after excuse as to why the straps werent shipped. They kept blaming the Post Office for both of our cases. Then they said they had personal issues going on. The list of excuses was endless.It is really a shame as I really wanted the strap I ordered and I would have ordered several more in the future. They really screwed up for my buddy and me.I would not do business with Ethos ever again. Waste of my time chasing them to just hear excuses and empty promises.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT TRUSTEthos Custom Guitar straps!!!When I placed my order, December 16th, I told them that I needed my order before Christmas. She offered a discount for rush order. They removed funds from my checking account immediately. I was told that I would receive, by email, a tracking number, however, I never received it. December 20th, after continuously calling about my order, I sent an email.Bobbye, finally, returned an email. She stated that they were closed and it was an error on their part. The tracking numbers never downloaded and she just realized the problem. (I guess they forgot to inform the customer with this information) I texted back and asked for tracking information. Everyday, Ive sent email after email and Called numerous times.Today is December 27th, 12:52 am. Christmas day has come and gone. They still have not sent my order and they have not contacted me. This was my husbands Christmas gift.I advice anyone that is thinking about ordering from this company to go elsewhere. They have stole my money and kept my order. They do not care about their customers. By the way they have over $200 of my money.
