Ive been here twice, and both times were very bad experiences. Both times they were running 30 minutes late at least. As I stand here, there is a poor lady waiting here whos been waiting 55 minutes.They nickel-and-dime you too. Ive never had some place charge me $65 for a contact lens fitting before. Additionally, who charges a fee and requires a 24-hour turnaround time to print off a prescription?? It takes five seconds to print a page...They dont even have the contact lenses I need in stock, so they have to order them for me. This happened last time too. That time, they never called me to let me know my contact lenses had arrived. Eventually after a month I threatened to have Visa cancel the $65 charge, and miraculously the contact lenses arrive the next day. I go in to make sure they fit, and what do you know? They didnt order the right prescription. It was another three weeks before I finally got fitted for the proper contact lenses. Heres hoping that this time, they actually order what I need, and that they actually call me to let me know within the 5 to 7 days, like they promised. Im not holding my breath.Dr Gamble is delightful. I like her a lot as a person. I think its a shame this place is so unprofessional. Im embarrassed I even came back.

The whole family is seeing Dr. Gamble for over 10 years, she provides excellent service. Takes her time to answer questions. The office staff is always friendly. Im impressed in how they handle safety protocols in this current pandemic. Highly recommended!

Everyone in the office is great and makes you feel very welcome. The eye doctor herself was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. Every time I have gone in I have always been taken back a few minutes before my appointment, they are very organized and the office is very cozy. I love it!

LOVE Dr Gamble she’s the best optometrist I’ve ever had! I’ve never had any problems with my prescription since I started seeing her. Staff is very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable! I’m always going there for my eye care.

I had a great experience here and it went pretty quick and easy. I didn’t end up paying anything for my appointment which is always nice. The people who work there are friendly and helpful! The Dr. is great! I felt comfortable, confident and well informed. She made sure I had all my questions answered!

They are fantastic. Who knew an eye exam would be so full of laughter and good times!!! Great with kids too!!! It is not a fast in and out. The doctor will take her time, answer questions, and explain things.

Worst experience with dealing with a doctor in my life and we see military doctors! I went for an eye exam July 2018 because I was having some headaches. The doctor did the typical exam and said something about getting my eyes dilated but I didnt have the time for that at the moment. I have worn glasses for 20 years and have never had them dilated and she didnt seem like it was pertinent for the exam. At the end of the exam, I asked for my prescription, although I didnt need it at the time because my glasses I had were fine. She told me to just call whenever I need it and theyll get it written up for me. Fast forward, 7 months and my glasses break. I call to get my prescription and the receptionist said she would put in the request and call when its ready. She calls me back an hour or so later and tells me the doctor told her that I was supposed to come back for my eyes to get dilated and because its been so long, she is going to charge me $45 to get it done and is with holding my prescription until I get it done. Theyve screwed me royally in that I now have to go elsewhere to get a new prescription and will pay out of pocket when I have insurance that should have covered it. Save time AND your money and go to Americas Best.

Unprofessional receptionist, we asked a question and she was trying to waive us out the door and then she closed it in our face. Customer service is essential not to bring in customers but to keep them coming back.

I could not believe the royal treatment you receive when you enter the front door until you leave. I felt very special with how friendly and caring the office staff afforded me on my first visit (also for my wife). The exams we were given far outdid any other eye care provider that I have seen in the past 20 years. Renee was so pleasant and well mannered to talk too. She is friendly and goes beyond her duties to help in any way she could with referrals etc. Now Dr. Gamble she is a professional. As soon as you meet her it is like meeting your sister that you have not seen in awhile. She takes her time explains everything to you and makes you happy that you found her office. Southeastern Eye Center was great! For once, I wasnt rushed through my appointment. They took the time to let me really choose which slides actually looked better for me. Instead of rushing through and, in turn, getting a prescription that didnt suit my needs. That was my typical experience with other eye exams in the past, and Im very happy I decided to try here. Overall service was awesome.

Very helpful with putting my contacts in for the first time. I was having trouble getting them in so they recommended different ways until i found a way that worked for me. Great, professional service from caring people.

Staff in all was great had nice smiles and awesome customer service. They were very helpful also very attentive, I just went to get a routine eye exam the doctor was very nice. My experience was very pleasant I would recommend them.

Never even made it to the doctor’s chair. I’m not sure if they’re under staffed or just really slow. I had a 1000 appointment and was in the office at 950 (I called the day before to make sure when to arrive and was told 10 minutes early was all that was needed). 1030 rolls around and she was just getting another patient to a room. I counted 2 patients besides myself and I still wasn’t seen or pretested in that time which is just ridiculous. They need to work faster or do a better job scheduling patients. Also, they won’t release patients information or release authorizations same day because apparently that cannot be done by the receptionist/tech.

Dr. Gamble was very impressive and was a true pro. Besides being very good at her job, it was awesome that she remembered me from a few years before, which was the last time I had an appointment. It was very nice to be remembered like that and shows that she truly cares about her patients.

The Provider and staff were very nice and professional. My biggest problem is the wait time before you are seen. Do not arrive early and be prepared to sit and wait for quite sometime.

Im a military wife with 3 young children. The day of my appointment; my 8 year old daughter, my 5 year old son, and I were being seen for our eye exam. I also had my 14 month old baby girl with us in a stroller. My children are afraid of going to the eye doctor due to bad experiences before coming to this clinic where they had been held down to get drops in their eyes while the screamed and cried. Also, not being able to go through the complete exams. The individuals that were working with us in the eye doctors office was Dr. Gamble, Renee, Jordan, and Carly (sorry do not know last names). Those women were awesome, very creative and patient with my children. I did not hear one cry, scream, or tantrums from my children. They were all smiles and happy and proud of themselves for getting the dialation drops in their eyes and went through the full exam. I need to remind you my children are 8, 5, and 14 months old and I also was getting my eyes checked. My daughter who is 8 years old asked when we can go back and she likes the eye doctor now. These ladies and Dr. Gamble were very polite, nice, sweet, creative, and helpful. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go to their clinic. I was truely amazed at how smooth this whole experience was. Thank you ladies who worked with us that day!! You are amazing ladies!!

Dr. Gamble was very thorough and informative. She caught things that previous doctors Ive visited in the past, never mentioned.

Myself and my husband experienced the worse experience here. We were not satisfied with the visit, the doctor, and the staff. Horrible Experience!!! I wish I could go back to the day of my appointment and made a better decision by sticking to what I know. America’s Best!

I really enjoyed going to The South Eastern Eye Center for my annual examination. The front staff was very professional and polite. The Doctor was outstanding. She explained everything to me that she was doing and why.

I would give them lower. They dont call when they get your items in, they expect you to call and call until they have your contacts in, then they ask to schedule you another week out to come in and try them. Thanks for making me wait 3 weeks to get my prescriptions so I can see.

Dr. Gamble is very friendly and professional; however, the wait time to be seen is ridiculous as well as the communication about pricing is very unclear . I was told my appointment would be 20 minutes for a contact follow up, I waited 20 minutes to be seen. My appointment was at 230, I didn’t leave until 330 . They are very apologetic but they do not try to move the process along . I shouldn’t have to wait 20-30 minutes after my wait time . When I’m being told to arrive 15 minutes ahead of time .I showed up for my appointment and was told that there would be a fee after I had already paid $65 during my initial appointment. I was not made aware of the additional fee prior to my appointment. The communication and organization within the office is horrible.

I do not recommend!

My experience was great, both doctor Gamble and staff were professional and kind. I was in and out in no time.

I called on August 8th and recieved a message to leave a message and someone would contact me. I left a message and no one called me. I called back on August 9th several times and the message said the inbox was full so I couldnt leave a message. I called again and again until someone answered at 3:48pm. They told me I had to call back after 4 pm to schedule an appointment. I called 19 times! And no one EVER answered. This woman couldnt schedule me because it was before 4 pm? Yet they dont answer the phone. So so unprofessional. I am sure I am not the only one that this has happened to. I just wanted to get an eye exam for my son because his prescription expired. I would NEVER waste my time on this place again and I I could give negative stars I would!

If I could give no stars, I would.Absolute pitiful service with an EXTREMELY RUDE office manager. They dont listen to clients, & they are just so incredibly terribly at providing customer service.

The clinic is comfortable and clean, and the people there care enough about you to take time to explains all aspects of any questions you have. You go in and they attend to you right away.
