I started at a Step One Auto sister store and had the worst experience of my life with the utmost disrespectful customer service so I left and immediately came here to Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat Fort Walton and was introduced to VICTOR after explaining my frustrating experience Victor immediately went to work with no foo foo no fluff and no BS!! Victor was straight forward, transparent and provided me with comfortable top notch customer service!! And what was taking a week at another dealership only took Victor 2 hours to successfully complete!! I was welcomed, treated fairly and cared for!! Everyone around had good vibes and was friendly!! Finally, after Victor got me set up and fulfilled my needs he introduced me to BOBBY in financing and again no complaints at all as Bobby was super friendly and extremely easy to work with!! I can not say it enough, everyone here did an excellent job and this dealership is and will be highly recommended by myself!!
*********Avoid at all costs***************July 10 purchase Jeep Grand Cherokee (bought with bad sensor-broken seat belt) no big deal. Manager sets up appointment for July 27. Service dept calls sets up loaner all good. Arrive July 27 no loaner and parts still not ordered. Fast forward August 16, for second possible purchase 52k check in hand, Finance guy “promises” better rate due to relationship with local banks, ran my credit through 17 banks, no bueno. Spent the 52k on other dealership, Back to September 3rd pick up my vehicle from service, sensor and belt fixed, get home, and hood is completely off by one inch from other side. This place is a complete disaster/scam/do not trust anyone at this dealership.
Purchased a vehicle from Joey R. Who came highly recommend. I now understand why. This was the most seamless and easy car buying experience I have ever had. I cant say enough how good my experience was there. Erik in finance was also super easy to deal with. They both set expectations and then went above and beyond. 20+ cars purchased through dealers.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced, I bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler from them and within months had issues with it. Try to contact the dealer and get it into the shop for repair, they give me the run around with transferring me from person to person and eventually to a whole entire different location assuming they didn’t want to deal with me so I hung up. I then go in person to try to get this figured out and they try charging me $1000 to fix a $75 part… absolutely unbelievable didn’t even offer a loaner vehicle. I’m military married with kids and being down a vehicle complicates things and it just seems like they don’t have a care in the world.. Definitely would not recommend anyone to buy anything from this dealership because this just goes to show you have no idea what you are buying and I’m sure they don’t care if it falls apart once it leaves there parking lot.
We have nothing but good things to say about our experience here with Vince. He helped us get a killer deal on our SUV and was so funny and friendly, which helped relieve the nerves of buying a new car. He went above and beyond throughout the entire process and we would absolutely buy another car from him again.
WARNING! I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this service department if you have any work that needs to be done! I have had to take my Jeep back six times and they still have not fixed my Jeep from problems they caused. My oil was not properly inspected after I brought my Jeep in for an oil housing repair. Only after bringing my Jeep back in twice to be checked for noise issues did we find my Jeep had almost no oil. This should have been checked every time according to there 27 multipoint inspection on all of my documents. My jeep was ran for 30 days before it was determined it had almost no oil after they repaired it. After, they tried to fix my motor from the lack of oil I still had problems that they still have yet to take responsibility for. My vehicle is still currently spewing antifreeze after they so called fixed it by tightening a clamp. When talking to the managers they say that the car was driven extensively to test for issues and all were corrected however that is not true I have a pictures below. I got it home the same day and antifreeze was every where there is no way they are truthful to customers and do not have your best interest in mind. Good luck if you take you vehicle here hope it survives.
Where do I begin? First, let me say the salesman (Austin) and the finance rep (Sonja) were great. Where I have an issue is with their so called 129 point inspection. Your results may vary, but I can say one hundred percent without a doubt, an inspection was not conducted on the vehicle I purchased on 7-22-21. Yes, I have a copy of what they claimed they did - but nothing was actually done to the car. Yes, I go back and look to see if it was really done - the work order reflected the cabin filter was replaced. Lie. Replaced the air filter. Lie. Replaced the wipers - again a lie. I have pictures of what came out of the car. If you dont do an inspection, thats fine. But dont toot your horn about conducting a 129 point inspection and dont do it. You flat out lied about it. Ive called no less than three times to reach the GM (Greg Chavers) but no response back. You couldnt take the time to replace simple items but you claim a charge of over 400 bucks for the work. For any that wants the proof - I have it. Ill never step foot on another Step One dealership again. Horrible.
Amazing customer service. James Stivey was our salesman today and he was wonderful. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had; he was friendly, knowledgeable and used no high pressure sales techniques which made feel at ease and decreased my stress level. Highly recommend this dealership; totally worth the drive from Panama City Beach.. thank you!!
Joey and Derek were great. Not only did they make the process as simple as possible they helped me get my note and warranty all under my budget.
I purchased a new Jeep the first week of June. According to the deal when purchasing a new Jeep, I was to get one year of SiriusXM service. The salesman called SiriusXM to set it up and the customer service agent for SiriusXM stated that I would receive only three months of service. The reason stated was that the “NEW” vehicle I had just purchased was listed at a “DEMO VEHICLE” by the dealership. I have decided to write this review after dozens of calls and hours of wasted time trying to get this sorted out. I’ve spoken many times with the salesman, who stated he is working on it, and management, who said they are taking care of it, all to no avail. The latest attempts to contact went unanswered. It would appear that after the sale customer service is non existent. If they step up and fix this six month old issue I will adjust my review accordingly.
Poor serviceI spent. $ 80.000 on my truck and breaking all the time, plus paint Was pulling off after two days that I just bought it, and more problems happening after three months that I ownedAnd this is a custom truckNot happy with their service and I believe all of us work really hard to have nice things And this is what We get ?be careful don’t buy anything from this guysBeen on the store 3 time and coming up with problems all the time, also the funniest thing, their are saying that they trying to help me saying that that customization was not done thru them ( but when I paid 80k They took all the pride for it, but now they blame to the custom shop)They should take truck back and give me a newI did put 15k down
The two ladies that I had the pleasure of working with (Sheryl Lopez and Shelley T) were absolutely amazing. They gave me the facts with no salesy pressure. I had such a pleasant and enjoyable car buying experience with these ladies. In this day of internet, all you are looking for at a dealership is that outstanding customer experience. These ladies nailed it! Highly recommend.
Do not go here if you ever need your vehicle serviced. Tried going to the “express lane” multiple times for oil change and they said 2-4 hours each time. Then recently tried to get my vehicle’s brakes inspected after a concern and made an appointment for two weeks ahead cause that was the soonest. Then after dropping it off for three days they hadn’t even looked at it… what’s the point of an appointment if your appointment isn’t fulfilled in a timely manner. No reason anyone should go without their vehicle with no updates or changes for three days. Should’ve told me they didn’t have time so I didn’t waste time and miss work.
Wonderful service department! It is based on a first come, first serve basis, and they were quite busy when I bought my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. I was quoted a wait time of an hour and a half, but they had me in and out in a little over an hour, and when I say busy, THEY were slammed!!! The customer service is bomb and I love knowing that my truck is in capable hands. They do a great job, every time! I used a coupon they sent me by email, so the price was really good!
Chrysler Dodge Fort Walton Beach Florida in my experience, was hands-down the most professional and courteous employee,s that I have ever come in contact with, especially the service department, I was treated like I was part of the family, I dropped my truck off with ease and confidence leaving it with Thomas Vergona an employee in the service department, he has the service department for Chrysler dodge, he really knows how to make the customers feel like family and comfortable and not have to worry about their vehicle, so if you would like your vehicle worked on appropriately and trust the people who are working on it go to Chrysler dodge a Mary Esther Cutoff in Fort Walton Beach Florida ask for Thomas in the service department, thanks again Thomas sincerely Jon Martin.
STEER CLEAR!!!! My wife and I took our Jeep Grand Cherokee in to have some issues looked at. Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance (as to not be without a car for too long). There was no communication from the service writer while it was in for service. I called multiple times and my vehicle hadn’t been looked at after 10 hours being there.. they kept the vehicle one more day. 3:30 rolls around and still no call from the service writer. I called and they then told me the diagnosis. Told them to do the work and I’ll come pick it up. When we arrived to get the vehicle I was treated very nice until my wife went to the vehicle and rolled down the drivers window only to notice that window switch was broken. It was now stuck down. Service manager said it was nothing they did and I said you think I’m lying about a WINDOW SWITCH. It’s such a small issues and they didn’t want to fix it. I wasn’t asking for a new engine. Long story short they did fix the window switch but I will never take another vehicle there or buy from step one automotive. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
Today, we purchased a Grand Cherokee and had the pleasure of having Evan who is brand new and Curt. My wife and I have bought now three cars from this dealership and have had a fantastic experience both times. Twice we’ve had Curt and he’s a wonderful salesman. Very funny, flexible, and genuinely cares about our needs and budget. He’s not pushy, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Evan had a great attitude and want to learn more about the sales aspect. Both are great guys and we will always recommend those two.
We had our vehicle towed to this place to have repairs made through an insurance claim. They were not helpful at all. 3 weeks later we are having it towed again to another shop that will actually do the repairs. Also got a bill for $175 as I tell them we are going to have it towed somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Awesome Customer Service from Thomas. Had an issue while visiting the area and had to leave my vehicle in Florida while traveling back to Georgia. Thomas kept in touch while working through the issue and resolved it expeditiously. I wish they were local to me.
Bought a 2017 Honda Civic there yesterday and I must say they made the entire purchasing experience so simple and easy. I absolutely love that they are not pushy like the other dealerships I went to. The gentleman I worked with was very knowledgeable and personable. Always a pleasure purchasing from this dealership. I will always go there in the future.
I purchased a Jeep Wrangler while on vacation in July. My temp tag has now expired and I have been trying to reach someone about what is going on with the tag and title work since my local DMV has not received anything from the dealer so I can get my tag in my state. For 3 weeks, O have called everyday and gotten no response except that the title clerk quit. Sorry that isnt my problem and they need a solution. I have been calling and spoken with 4 different people who all say they will see what they can do. I have left countless messages and not one person has returned my phone call. This has been the worst after sale customer service. It is to the point that I am going to have to take off work and drive the 8.5 hours to the dealership to get something straightened out. At this point, I can not at all recommend Chrysler Dodge Fort Walton.
If I could give zero stars trust me I would. If you need service on your vehicle, do yourself a favor and go to ANY other shop in the area. Beware! Almost 2 weeks of my husbands 2021 truck sitting in their service department and its still not figured out how to be fixed. 🙄🙄Also prepare for the generic apologetic response being posted to my review just like everyone elses.
Damien did everything to help me find a new car. I’m not even a big fan of Jeeps or ones that look like boxes but he showed me they aren’t bad. I ended up leaving in a 2021 Jeep Renegade. Trina was amazing as well. Her and Damien made the whole process easier than any experience i’ve ever had. Definitely will be going back!!
Lame effort. I have a 2019 RAM that is still under warranty that I purchased from them. Today my battery died and I reached out to them for help. The best they could offer was to have it towed in and they would look at it next Friday 4 June. Today is Friday 28 May. I spoke with everyone at the dealership who would answer the phone. The final authority was Thomas who said thats the best they could do. He made a big point of telling me they already had cars there that hadnt even been looked at yet that should have been worked on yesterday. Hardly a confidence booster. I offered to take the battery out and bring it in for testing and an exchange. They said no to that as well. Three day weekend coming up and I will not have any vehicle. I asked for a loaner, and you guessed it, none available. Will never seek service there again and will not buy another vehicle there. Heck of a way to treat loyal customers.
Best car buying experience ever. Hands down top of the line staff. When you go there ask for Jack, he’ll help you out and hook you up right.
The Service department is no better than a Quick Lube ( might be too much credit) Took my 2019 Ram 1500 in because it was pulling to the right. On Friday I called 4 times on Saturday before they closed at 1200 for an update, the Tech told me they were having problems figuring out what was wrong with it. They even asked if it had been in a wreck. On Monday they gave up and ask me to pick up the truck and advised me to take it to a body shop to have the frame straighten. I took the truck to Hill Kelly in Pensacola within 3 hours of the appointment I got a call and a spring in the steering was broke they order the part and I had the truck back in a few hours.
All the extra bullcrap they charged us for made me pretty upset. $15 per page for a Documentation fee was $995 total... for paperwork. Almost $2k for Certification, which is basically just you giving them money for no reason, then when we told them we didnt want the Certification they became very cold and much less helpful. The guy signing our papers wouldnt even look up at us as we left his office. Dealerships like this one are greedy and make me never want to use them again.
Sadly I purchased a 2020 Toyota Supra from here. Told Austin Bailey that I am coming from Orlando Fl. Almost drove 7 hours. When I came in he’s with another customer and makes me wait over 30 mins. ( which is okay) then he got upset with the last customer and doesn’t greet me or anything grabs the key and yells at me to follow him. I told him to put the car under the shade so I can inspect it and he literally leaves the car unlocked and walks away…. I mean obviously I want to inspect a $60k car I’m purchasing. The car had an extra 274 miles than advertised. I told him to please inspect before I made the drive and he did not once mention the flaws the vehicle had. Was treated very poorly for no reason at all and I knew coming such a far distance and investing time off work and the travel I had no choice.
If you are thinking about purchasing a car from this dealership, RECONSIDER! My family and I purchased several cars from this dealership when it was Lee Chrysler, however, now there is new management. Step one Automotive. Our previous transactions were very smooth and the cars were extremely reliable and lasted years. However my experience with this new management has been TERRIBLE!! I purchased a car on September 24th and was given a “We owe” form that states that they would fix my steering wheel adjustment for free. I was told that it would be looked at/ fixed when I came in to purchase it. Then I was told to come the very next day to have it fixed and detailed. I came at 9 that morning and didn’t leave until 3 and a half hours later. I was told that the car was detailed but the adjustment couldn’t be fixed due to them having to order a piece and take the dash apart. I was told to come the following Monday. I texted on Monday to confirm the appointment and I was told that they were not able to squeeze it in. I was then told to come that Thursday. When I asked for a time, I did not receive a response from the person that sold me the car. I then took the professional route and scheduled an appointment online, myself. I scheduled it for October 13th. Today is October 13th. I took my car to the dealership and was told to take it to another dealership (Toyota). When I took my vehicle to Toyota, I was told that they were behind and would not be able to fix it for a few days if I leave my car there. I work and go to school, I cannot afford to just leave my car sitting around. I was even told by a person at the dealership that it did not need fixing since I was able to get it in one stable position. I had to show them myself that it was dangerous and not okay. I have called numerous people within this company and left messages to no avail. My “We owe” form expires on the 23rd of this month, which is soon. I have given this dealership many chances to make this right. This is very unprofessional and shows that they only care about sales, not their customers. I still have not received any calls or messages from anyone. Lesson learned to not purchasethrough this company again.
We have been looking for a nice used truck for my husband. Found one that he wanted to look at, the woman from this dealership called this a.m. and told my husband could come test drive it today. We drove 1+hours to be told that it didnt pass inspection...but we have others that you can look at..none in that price range tho sounds like the old bait and switch to me.
Jack was our sales rep and he was fantastic. He made sure we were happy and made things very easygoing for us! He is genuinely a great person and we look forward to doing business with him again in the future. He introduced us to Ms. Sonja in financing and she made it a breeze. I’ve worked in customer service most of my life and I will say both Jack and Sonja provide the best customer service we’ve experienced. So if you’re in the market ask for Jack and tell him the Hallman’s sent you!!!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Made the whole buying process easy. Thanks to Mr Nathan Bailey for getting us into the Jeep we wanted.
Sheryl Lopez is very professional and knowledgeable about the Jeep Gladiator. Shes also a pleasure to be around and made our purchase as seamless as possible. The dealership was clean and I liked that the employees actually seemed to enjoy being around each other.
If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife and I came into the dealership on April 1. A two day transaction, we traded in her car and bought a brand new 2021 Jeep Wrangler IN FULL. $45k check in hand, paperwork was simple. They did not turn in the paperwork nor the license from the trade in, resulting in a letter from Florida saying if we didn’t show proof of sale and insurance, her driver’s license will be suspended. I called the dealership to fix this, they said the paperwork was fixed and we just needed to show proof of insurance. Today, my wife’s license is suspended, no paperwork on their end was received, and now I have to fight to get her license reinstated. She’s pregnant and needed a reliable vehicle to get herself to her appointments, but she can’t legally operate the vehicle. If you do business here, you get an expensive lawn ornament, they don’t care about their customers.*edit- the dealership called in response to this review. They said they’re concerned about all customers. We were misinformed on the license plate and procedures to handle this. Thus, the blame is not theirs but our issue can be resolved with a free tank of gas.** it’s not my job as the CUSTOMER to fix the relationship between them and myself. I do not have the time to look at options. Surely before the call, some options could of been considered to present me other than the cheapest option on their part that cost me quadruple their solution.*** this business prides itself on love for service members and veterans. I’m a disabled veteran and their “appreciation” toward my family is deflection. Outstanding!
The technician worked diligently to try and replicate a problem I was having with my fuel filling neck, but couldnt. Tried finding where I could be having a problem, but couldnt find it. The service rep did ok keeping me up to date but I had to do most of the asking. And wasnt notified it would be left over night on the second night. Ill absolutely still use this facility, just wouldve appreciated more info if possible.
Highly would suggest staying away from their service department. One of their service managers should not be in a customer relations job.Short and sweet version: over charged for oil and fuel filters, I was told they could not change the price since it was a Saturday and I would have to come back in on Monday. Came back in from Freeport, manager tries everything he can to not refund me 200+ dollars.I was charged for an alignment and when I took the truck back months later I was told “We don’t have an alignment rack that works with your truck.” Another fight to get a refund.I ended up contacting Chrysler care and highly suggest others take that route if they have issues.I won’t be buying a vehicle or having any of my vehicles serviced by this dealership. Customer care, satisfaction or service is not available in fort Walton beach.
Montana was the woman that took care of us she was wonderful she was very knowledgeable and very nice I would come and get my car fixed for her as many times as I needed to. She gave me an opportunity to be able to pay on a payment plan which was able to let me get my car fixed thank you so much to all that helps me.
Sales team was decent but after the deal was done the customer service was absolutely terrible. I bought my truck a month ago and my paper work still hasn’t been sent to my dmv so I can register my vehicle. My temporary tag is now out of date and I keep getting sent from number to number to leave voicemails with no response. This leads me to believe that after they get their money they could care less about their customers. I will never buy here again and urge you to think twice before you do. I’ll be getting in touch with the better business bureau as well as military affairs committee so no one else has to go through this head ache.
I schedule an appointment on Friday at 7:00 am for a ball joint replacement. I took my 2015 ram 2500 and was there at 6:50 am and waited for them to open the front door at the service building. They ask a couple of question and took my keys and I left. The told me they would call me after they inspected my vehicle. They never did call back. So I called them at 1:22 pm and they told me that they would call me back with more information. I tried calling them back a 6:47 but I was to late in the day. Saturday at 10:54 I called to see if they serviced my pickup yet and they havent. I call a one more time that day and nothing. I show up at 2:58 pm that afternoon thinking I would just grab my pickup and find some were else to get the job done. The sales were still open and I tried two times to get someone to get me my keys. They sadly could not do this because it two separate businesses, they explained to me, which that seem odd to me considering you have to pay in the dealership building not the service building. While I was there Saturday I noticed they DID NOT HAVE MY PICKUP LOCKED UP. I went home empty handed. After waiting two days they finally called me at 9:21 am. saying it would be around $3,000. I didnt think that was right, so I asked if I could call them back. I then called my dad and asked him what he thought and decided that it was a little much. I called them back say that I was going to cancel it. I went to go get my pickup that afternoon it costed $176.50, just for the quote. They were wanting to replace front brake pads, rotors, hubs, and upper and lower ball joints. I told them in the beginning I just wanted my ball joints replace. After a couple days go by when I was need a ratchet and sockets, I realized that my ratchets were gone I called them and told them. I got a voicemail saying they checked and told me the mechanics have plenty of tools and they did not steal anything. Today I noticed my air blow gun and multimeter gone, which really inspired me to write this review so I could warn all who are thinking about getting your vehicle service here.
I came to the dealership today and as busy as the service guy Thomas was he still took the time to explain and answer all my questions couldn’t ask for anything better and will definitely be back for all my service needs and asking for him great asset to your stepone company
I need an oil change for my Jeep, they don’t make appointments and they’re always “full for the day”. They need to start making appointments as people have other things in their life other than waiting to hopefully get their car in for service. I work 5 days a week and can’t just drive up and wait, I need more of a time frame. I don’t like leaving non-stellar reviews, but after the third “we’re already full for the day”, management needs to re-evaluate how they do things in their service department. If people still want to just drive up, that’s fine, but those who wish to make an appointment, should be able to schedule an appointment. I’d call their manager, but I’m sure they’d just tell me they have nothing to do with their policies and it comes from corporate. Nothing against the people who work in service, my regular guy when I’ve had to bring my Jeep in is great!
I would like to say that we are very pleased with our new Ram Longhorn Laramie that we purchased today. Mrs Sheryl was very informative, curtious, and productive throughout the entire purchase. I would recommend that if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle, go see the people at StepOne.
I am from Louisiana and running from hurricane Ida, and engine check light came on my 2500 ram. Took it to get the code read at auto zone. The code is for my EGR systems. Probaly just needs to be Clean. Called service department asked for some help. Was told she could not squeeze me in this week. Even after I told her my situation. My family and I are trying to make it back home to see if we still have a home left. Probaly take a hour and a half the most to clean it. I would do it myself but do not have all the tools.
Service was impeccable. I arrived one week early but that didn’t stop the Tech, Jeremy, from taking my vehicle immediately and assessing my needs.I got my vehicle back within 24 hours and all issues were resolved. Jeremy texted me throughout the experience and made sure I was in the loop as to what the diagnose entailed.
We just purchased our 2nd Jeep through this dealership and both times have been fantastic. I would especially like to thank our salesman David Hightower, along with Carol and Josh in accessories. You can really tell they love what they do, and that is evident in how our Gladiator turned out! Thanks so much!!!
Paid $170 for a wrong diagnosis. Bought the incorrect replacement part and went thru a lot of trouble trying to fix before I found the real issue. Extremely slow service, I waited 2 weeks for an appointment and then my car sat there for 4 days before even being looked at (if youre not ready to work on the car why let me drop it off?). They also quoted me $1700 for what Ive been able to fix for a $50 part myself. Unbelievable
From sales-finance-manager-dealership manager (yes, even the highest manager assisted us) we were treated exceptional throughout the entire purchasing process. Highly recommend!!!
2021-06-22 Have Oil Change and Tire rotation doneMet by service advisor; took my vehicle and got in at my appropriate appointment time. Better than doctors office.Deparrian, my Advisor, was courteous and took care of getting the maintenance completed quickly.
I have been looking for a truck. Found one that I wanted to look did the online inquiry for the eprice. No eprice but was contacted by Meagan by pone. Told me I could come test drive it today. Set an appt. Showed up to look at the vehicle to be told that it didnt pass inspection...but we have others that you can look at. Bait and switch. This is the 2nd time at this dealership same thing happened, last time being a few years ago. Waste of time. Good luck. I should have looked at all the different sites of the online reviews of how everyone gets burned here. Im not the first and likely not the last.
David H was great! Patient and thorough! Trina in finance was also amazing! Highly recommend this dealership!!
My 2017 ram truck went into the service dept for repair on a Thursday. The earliest I could schedule an appointment was the following Tuesday, imagine my surprise when I got a call on friday saying they got my truck in and had found the start of the issues I was having. I Approved the initial repair to install a fuse on the batter so they could continue diagnostics. Wee a few hours later I got a call saying they were done and the issues was the fuse that needed repaired. Thomas in the service department went above the norm, he was very open and upfront with what everything could have potentially cost me. I would not hesitate to have my truck serviced by their department again.
My experience car shopping @ Ft Walton Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat was simply FANTASTIC. I worked with Damien Griffin researching the JEEP Wrangler Unlimited Sport S 4x4 Sport Utility. He was fast to answer all my questions and very knowledgeable of the JEEP Wrangler key specs/options/configuration and trim. Hearing the phrase (yes sir & yes ma’am) from this handsome young gentleman is a simple thing, but its respectful and speaks to an upright upbringing. If you’re truly considering buying, I would highly recommend working with Damien to purchase your next vehicle @ Ft Walton Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat.C Louis Cozart
Carol Ingram was so helpful in buying my new Ram 1500. I would recommend her if you would like to make a purchase from this place.
Before I made the trip to test I informed them that I was pre-qualified and asked if the dealt with the my pre-qualified lender. Their response very positive, however after the test drive we settled down to the paper work.I inquired several times about my pre-qualified lender. I stated several times that I wanted to complete my paperwork for my lender. I then informed my contact that I felt they were disrespected by there process and them. BEWARE OF BAD DEALERS AS THIS ONE.
We dealt with Chris and he was amazing! I recommend going there for all your car/truck/Jeep needs.
Do not trust anything a sales person tells you here. I did their “garage” feature online to get a jumping off point with my trade in factored in, asked in writing if they could accommodate my desired price before I drove an hour and a half, & was assured in writing they could. When I arrived, their initial number was even higher than their “garage” feature had quoted. When I stated this, the sales person had no idea what this feature was, & even after I showed everything in writing, they would not budge on the price. Their quotes were not transparent at all. I had to ask 3 times just to see what rebates I was actually receiving, & even then the sales person couldn’t tell me which was the military discount & “guessed” it was the last one on the list. Management is rude & condescending to employees in front of customers, & the customers don’t get much further deference.Update: The response below is part of the problem. Your sales director had already reached out personally the day I posted my review, & this looks like you give a canned apology & ask me to call to fix it. Greg ended up giving me a reasonable deal, & Shelly delivered the car personally to my home. I’m grateful to get the vehicle I wanted, but I still stand by my critique unless you are dealing with the aforementioned parties. There are huge management & training gaps that do a disservice to customers. Nonetheless, I will improve my rating from 1 to 3 stars, as I appreciate the reaching out & effort to address my negative experience.
Joey and Damian and Greg and Bobby are awesome! Their bosses are great too. Best place to buy a Dodge Charger. I wanted something specific and it showed up a few minutes later from the factory. Not saying they can do that all the time but it was pretty cool. Plus they let me start the Hellcat Red-eye.....with the Red Key.
My experience with Chryler Dodge Jeep Ram was amazing. Not sure of the guys name that received my vehicle, he was amazing. He explain the processes and gave me an accurate wait time. I was there for a routine oil change and tire rotation.
This dealership is absolutely terrible we bought a car 3 weeks ago and it’s already having issues turning on and going. We took it to the service team and they said they will look at it and it’s now been 3 days and they haven’t even checked it out yet and when we texted to see how it was going they said yeah we’re looking at it right now to only find out later they were never looking at it they don’t even have the decency to help us get a car so we can drive to work. The only thing they did was point us to rental car places that cause 1000 dollars just for 4 days we ain’t rich we have bills they do not keep there customers best interest at heart.
Huge selection of vehicles, and my salesman did a good job of finding us what we wanted within budget. They were also very helpful with our trade, which was cool. Overall it was a good experience.
My recent experience with the parts manager, Jay Miles is nothing short of custer service excellence! Our family is abroad- our Jeep fender flare was destroyed in an accident, and I needed some help with replacement parts. Jay took my call and exceeded my expectations with all of his actions. He provided me everything I needed, answered all of my questions, was patient and kind, maintained outstanding professionalism during my interaction with him, and was driven- to effortlessly provide the help that I requested. He is a perfect example of what a devoted and invested employee is. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat, I hope you know what an asset he is to your team!Thank you Jay!-Mel
Yesterday, I stopped by this Dodge Jeep Ram dealer to look at running boards for my Ram 2500 pickup. Michael the Delivery Coordinator provided, and coordinated exactly what I was looking for. I was able to get the boards installed, oil and fuel filters changed while I waited. Ken a Master Technician and all of the Service Advisors provided top notch service and work! I highly recommend this dealership.
4+ hours for an oil change in the express lane. What a great experience
Bought a new truck 9 months ago. Paid a few thousand extra for additional accessories. After 6 months of owning the truck I traded it in at a different dealership. I now own a different truck and still dont have the accessories I paid for originally. The guy that is over this accessories department does not answer his phone and might call you back in a few days if he feels up to it. At this point Id love a refund for those parts as I dont even own the truck anymore but giving back profit margins isnt something car dealers like to do, so theyll probably have me pick up a pile of parts I cant even use at some point in time. Its a shame I have to come here like this but it is what it is.
The good, friendly and professional. The right work done and once they started went quick. With the Jeep wave tire rotation also free but they told me after rather than before. I would’ve had them do it if I knew ahead of time. My neighbors were there and said they’ve had great experience w this dealer for many m at years. So that’s cool. The bad, could not make an appointment for this type of service. So u have to roll the dice on how busy they r. Took 55 minutes wait to begin the service. They put a friendly reminder sticker to do the next oil change. This is normal. But they recommended 5k/6 months which is HALF of the synthetic oil’s life per Jeep and the ECU algorithm. I consider this predatory towards the uneducated.
These are GOOD people. My truck was in for service and maintenance. The techs and advisors went above and beyond to get me back on the road. And I mean way above and way beyond to help me out. Good people. 2015 Ram truck. Brakes/ Tune/ Diff
Ive been in the car business for more than 26 years now and know buying a car is not always a fun experience but Im happy to report that my experience buying a car from Tyler and the team at CDJRF Ft. Walton Beach has been an absolute pleasure!Update to my review after receiving the vehicle... it was delivered with a deep scratch in the passenger front door and I initially thought it was during the transport. Upon further investigation this scratch was present when it was picked up by transport and I have since reported it to the dealership. I have proof that it wasn’t present at the time of the sale so 100% took place between our deal being made and the car being transported. I wrote the dealer giving them an opportunity to make it right asking them to pay for the scratch repair. They declined.
Great experience start to finish. Austin Bailey was right to the point did not pressure me into making the purchase. Listen to what I wanted . Finance was perfect. Everything was ready to go. Best dealership I been to my whole life. Will be back for sure.
Service was unreasonably slow. I took my van in for an oil change/tire rotation; we ONLY use the dealership for the purpose of maintaining our warranty and would much prefer to go elsewhere. I called to schedule an appointment for the service and was told to just come in during 7:30am-3pm for “quick service”. I pulled into the quick service lane and sat there for 15 min, then called to ask if I was supposed to come inside for service- no someone will be right out! I asked to stay in the car until it was pulled back due to my toddler sleeping in his car seat. We sat there through the nap and then got out. 2 hours after arriving the car goes back for a “QUICK” oil change/tire rotation. “It doesn’t take long once it’s back”. A full hour later my car is finally done. 3 hours at the dealership with a toddler when you asked to schedule an appointment and were denied in exchange for quick service is horrible service in my opinion!
As of right now I have to give them this rating. It took more than a week to get an appointment only for them to tell me they could not service my vehicle because of updates by their company to their diagnostic equipment eventhough they had just completed work on it about 5 months ago (and at that time I still had concerns but the codes had been cleared).Update: Owner responded on here to my review and gave me a number to contact for their customer service coordinator, but I was transferred twice and sent to voicemail.2nd update: Service manager contacted this morning to inform me that they were able to locate a device they could use to run a diagnostic but I was able to get the code from another business. He asked if I could bring in next week but I am in the process of seeing if another shop can look at it sooner since I lost my original appointment with them.On the bright side, it appears that the Customer Service department takes the reviews seriously which is good for the customer and the business. Also, if you have to use this company Jeremy in service was very helpful and understanding with previous work I had to get done and I would recommend him.
What a nightmare. Knew what car I wanted. It was supposed to be ready for me at 10am. It wasnt. They couldnt find key, so wait and wait. No gas in car so had to stop while doing test drive for $5 worth. Ready to pay cash, no trade in but paperwork took 2 and half hours, literally. Finally get it done and car is not there for me! Took another 45 minutes for car to get back from gassing up but only had less than half a tank of gas. The whole transaction took 3 hours, 20 minutes! Next time by online with delivery.
I purchased the extended maintenance plan with the warranty comes free oil changes and tire rotations. What they dont tell you is the fast lane is non existent. I have gone to the shop which is 45 min from my house 3 times the 1st time was 2pm they recommended I come back at 7am because the wait was 2 hours. So I did and still waited 2 hours because they offered me an air filter not realizing they didnt have it in stock and no one ordered it so after 2 hours I finally demanded my car back. Yesterday I showed up at 11 they gave me the traditional 2 hours response then took 3 to do an oil change and tire rotation didnt even look at my car for 2 hours. My guess is since it is free they have 1 bay and 1 tech that do it. Had I known with drive time I would need 5 hours to change my oil everytime I would have declined the option as part of the warranty and just gone for the 10min service station. They need to take appts and schedule staff to do it.
Had an appointment to look at a few vehicles. Showed up and no one I spoke to knew what was going on or where the vehicles were at. I was told one vehicle was at a different dealership and the saleman would meet me there. He never showed up.
I’ve lost all hope in the dodge brand and sales tactics. Dealt with two dealerships and this one and another local one are one in the same. I tried to give them my business and lost all hope been approved for financing and all. Looks like Chevy is getting my business
Never return calls. Only gave me one key. Have been trying for nearly a year to get second key. Poor customer care
9/29/2020/UPDATE: even after I contacted the dealership and spoke to the General Manager and was assured the issues would be taken care of and a representative would reach out last week and this week no one has. I have now spent $521 on mechanical repairs on this vehicle and an additional $200 on professional detailing to remove these water stains. The manager asked me to update my post that they offered a detailing yet when I accept and let him know I can bring the car in he tells me the sales representative will reach out. I even followed back up via email and no resolve. No sales rep reached out and I even let him know. So in addition to the credit issues I went through with them they are not people of their word. Hence the 1 star and update to this review. Maybe if I had bought a brand new dodge I would have been treated better. This place gets 2 stars and to be honest that’s a lot. If I where to rate my sales guy 4.5 stars for his attentiveness. But overall my experience in this dealership was poor. I went in to purchase a pre-owned vehicle with my own banks per approval in hand and requested they proceed with my bank as my financial institution of choice. Did that happen you may say...? NO it didn’t the finance manager Adam Strickland decided to run my credit through 2 other financial institutions with out my knowledge, luckily I monitor my credit and noticed the hard pulls to my credit. When confronted he tells me based on the credit application that I signed thatthey do not have to tell me that they will run my credit with any one individual bank. He also stated that he was trying to save me money on my rate. Well common sense to me say that if someone walks into my business with a bank already pre approved im only assuming that’s what they want. I would say hey I might be able to get you a lower rate if your interested not just run their credit ! Shady business Adam! There is no integrity there and it’s sad that Adams actions are what the business is held accountable for. In addition he then tried to blame the sales representative for not telling me that my credit would be run by other banks as well. In addition to this I understand it was past 4pm and the detail shop was closed and everyone by the time I was ready to leave they were too but the car has what I thought when I first saw it to be dirt and thought it would was off. Instead after washing the car myself I came to realize that the car has some type of copper staining all along the passenger side doors. I will now probably have to spend a pretty penny on professional detailing in hopes that it comes out. I’ll be honest if I ever had the choice again I probably would never return to this dealership to do business.
My husband and I went in looking for a new vehicle, a truck for him. We were helped by Austin Bailey, and it was all in all a great experience. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He asked my husband what he was looking for and what our budget was, and he was able to find something that worked well for us. When we are ready to buy again, we will definitely go back, and would love to be helped by Austin again.
It’s a car dealer. I bought a new Jeep and the finance guy immediately starts telling me how the expensive new Jeep is not very reliable and I had better buy the extended warranty, the sales man was your typical high pressure car salesman saying whatever he thought he could get away with, but I wanted a Jeep so I played along, got it down to dealer invoice ( which is not really dealer invoice) and drive away in the Jeep.
Evan help us into a new 2021 Durango. Amazing work and Trina was so amazing and helpful with all the paper work …
I walked into this dealership Monday May 17th 2021 with the clear intention to buy a Jeep wrangler for the right deal.I was by no means an easy customer, Tanner Lampert was my sales rep and he spent hours with me, I asked a million questions that he answered quickly, without hesitation and correctly. Tanner worked up numbers on at least 3 different Jeeps before he found me the perfect one with a massive deal that we just couldnt say no to. My husband is deployed, Tanner expressed patience and great customer service during my many face time calls with my husband, again Tanner answered all of his questions and concerns with a length of knowledge. Tanners customer service has gone beyond just the sale, every time Ive called him he is extremely helpful and just a delight to speak with . I cant forget about my finance manager Erik Abreu, his calm collected temperament gave me the reassurance for a stress free buying process, Erik also answered a million questions and had great patience with me. Thank you Gentleman, it was a great pleasure doing business with you.-Joshua & Chelsey Griffith
Sheryl Lopez is the best car sales person I have dealt with in 40 years of buying cars. This was a remote purchase; everything online. Sheryl did all the work and then she brought the car to me when the deal was done. And my van is beautiful. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
Best car buying experience by far! Damien was awesome and made the whole process easier. We are not familiar with fort walton so he rode with us when we test drove the vehicle to make sure we didnt get lost. My wife and I love the Pacifica we purchased and will go back for any other purchases! I was pleasantly surprised when the manager Mike actually introduced himself and spent some time making sure we were happy all in all great experience!
I have received up to 10 calls a day wanting me to come test drive a vehicle. Its annoying! I have a life and work. Stop calling! That is all!
I called the customer service line over 50 times and was transferred to finance every single time no answer. Poor customer service skills and will not buy my next car from this dealer, Still waiting on a call back as someone told me they would have finance call me...
Thank you very much for reaching out to me I am very thankful that we were able to come to an understanding and an agreement.
The team who worked on our jeep were extremely thorough and thoughtful in helping us diagnose some issues with our 2012 Jeep. We felt the customer service and timely updates were extremely helpful as well. Thank you for helping us, we will return.
Tyler B. Was my sales rep! Definitely went above and beyond to make the visit quick and hassle free! Spent 20-30 mins tops via phone the day before, then when I went to sign papers etc. I was literally at the dealership 20 mins!! Not an all day hassle typically associated with buying a new car/truck!! Thank you Tyler! I will call you on the next one!!
Good spot to go if you want in and out.
Tail light went out in husbands truck while here on vacation from Indiana. Two auto part stores did not have the replacement so we came here. Parts cost $30, okay. Service guy wanted $75 and take 30 min to install the bulb. Husband just asked for the tool to do it himself, because he knew it would only take 2 minutes, and was told I dont think its easy as you say it is. My husband proceeds to use a 4 vise grip to do the job in their parking lot and were back to the beach. Not impressed.
After visiting several local dealerships, Damien Griffin what a FABULOUS EXPERIENCE YOU WERE! Refreshingly friendly, professional & knowledgeable! A young man (18-20ish) with such excitement for the automobiles he sells as well as the clients he serves, it was clear from his greeting that he is personable & motivated to achieve success. Damien’s focus did not leave me nor did he lose interest when I explained that I wasn’t quite ready to purchase just yet but that I am definitely in the Market for a Jeep gladiator around November- December, he never skipped a beat or lost enthusiasm while sharing the details of the Jeep! He gave me his business card, wished me an awesome day, told me he looked forward to seeing me soon and even opened my car door! Chrysler dodge Jeep of Fort Walton you guys and all of the dealerships need to Clone this young man! Thanks Damien & Fort Walton Chrysler Jeep for offering an excellent customer experience, a step above the rest! Looking forward to driving away in my gladiator
Sale was find when we bought the car but for the love of god don’t use their service department unless you want a headache and loss of your car for days without any communication.
The service department is garbage. Do not expect your vehicle for weeks after it’s been dropped off. They do not care. Management really needs to be replaced.
Just bought my 2nd truck from them and had to say thanks to Greg Chavers (General Manager),Sheryl, (Sales Associate),Mike (Accessories Manager) and Adam (Financial Services) for handling the transaction in a speedy and thorough manner. No pressure and no hassle - something you fear with many dealers. Also found out Mike and I were both in the Army and both MP’s! Talk about a small world! Thanks everyone!I highly recommend this dealership!Coop.
Sonja, Sheryl, & Shelly made buying a car a great experience. Thanks for the new set of wheels!
Austin Bailey understood our needs and worked with us to find the right vehicle. He did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a car or truck. Sonya in accounting treated us like family. This was an overall great experience.
We had a great experience here getting our Ram Ecodiesel serviced. I wish I had caught the name of the man who I think was the manager of the service department. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and that our truck was ready to go. I highly recommend them and now know where I will be going for future work.
I had the ABS system replaced on my Wrangler Unlimited today. The service department was attentive & professional. And Shannon at the customer service desk was polite & knowledgeable. When I called the dealership to make an appointment, the brief time that I had to wait on the phone was the best system letting me know how many customers were in front of me. So much better than listening to some terrible music loop. Two thumbs way up!
