This shop was great! I came in at 9 to get my tire looked at. They were able to fill the holes I had gotten. I came in as a walk-in and my car was ready 3 hours after. Cindy is just perfect. She squeezed me in and took care of everything promptly. They even offered me a ride back to my house since I lived close. The prices are great as well. I’d highly recommend anyone with any tire issues to go see them.

I had to come to Fort Washington Auto & Tire Center for an inspection and it was a seamless process. When I called to make my appointment I spoke to Cindy. She was professional, courteous and got me in immediately the next day. Upon arrival I was met by Robert who answered all my questions and made sure I was aware of the time it would take to inspect my vehicle. My inspection was done quickly and I had a great experience. I appreciate the professionalism and care that they took.

Got a state vehicle inspection from them. Very easy to deal with by phone, very personable in the office, comfortable waiting area, fair price and quick turnaround. Will definitely be back to these folks.

My husband and I have used this shop a few times on our cars and they are pretty dependable, though they are a bit pricey. We will no longer be using their services though because the last time they serviced one of our cars, they got us two speeding tickets on the 210 street camera ($80 on 8/10/21). We were trying to figure out how we got two tickets within 10 min of each other and why we were on the road when we both were working that day and quickly realized that we were not in possession of the car when the camera captured the car speeding. It was in the shop and we have the receipt to show when we picked it up and paid for the repairs. We called and left a message with the shop and no response. Id rather do business with people who take better care of other peoples property.

Best place to bring any car. Trustworthy, fair, and professional. Gave 4 Stars (as I always do to any business) because there is always room for improvement. I have been sending all of my cars (including recommended family/friends/colleagues). Great Job!

I was impressed at how fast and affordable this companies service is. I’ve gone to several other big chain companies and they aren’t half as good as this location. I haven’t had great service like this in a while. We were greeted by a gentleman by the name of Robert who made sure we were taken care of. Thank you Robert and to the rest of the team!

Customer service was very nice and staff was personable! Robert and Sam were very helpful and made sure my service was done on time! I actually left earlier than expected. When they returned my vehicle it was clean which is a pet peeve of mine when they return your car smelling grungy and oily. Definitely would bring my car back for another service ! I was traveling from Waldorf and noticed that my rear tire was deflating. I had a truck full of my grand girls and it was 95 degrees so needless to say I needed service ASAP! After being turned away from a gas station, I googled “nearest tire repair” and found Fort Washington Auto and Tire. Wow! What a blessing!!! I arrived in a panic and was greeted with calm and professionalism. They were personable and their shop was accommodating with a separate waiting area and vending machine. They took care of me expeditiously and at a great price! I really am a stickler for great customer service and products, they delivered 100%!!!!

Recently moved to Maryland and needed my vehicle inspected to register it with the state. They did a thorough job and did not try to find issues that were nonexistent. Only issue was my windows were too tinted to pass and they were able to remove the tint for a nominal fee. Pleased with my experience and were respectful of time and gave accurate estimate of wait time

Staff and Mgmt. was accommodating and courteous. Repairs were done timely and reasonably. Would recommend this auto establishment to anyone in the Southern Prince Georges County area.

1st. time going here. Staff was friendly and professional. I went there to have service to correct an issue and was told what I had asked for wouldnt correct the issue before they even worked on the car. I asked them to do the work anyway and a major issue was discovered which required me leaving the car. I was shuttled back to my home and when the work was completed they called me and sent a ride to bring me back to pick it up. Need to update this rating. I actually got a call from the shop checking on how the vehicle was running. Definitely shoots up to top notch in my book.

Sam is one of the most personable guys you’d ever want to meet, Felipe is extremely knowledgeable about these wonderful machines and Tamara is as talented a manager as they come. Late afternoon near closing time one of our vehicles had a major oil leak. It had to be towed to Fort Washington Auto and Tire Center on short notice. They informed that my vehicle would be ready in the morning. I received the call this morning and was told that my vehicle was ready. I inform them that I forgot to mention another issue with the vehicle. Normally, mechanic shops say bring it in for another appointment. They said No problem we would take care of it. Its that type of service why I will continue to have my current and future vehicles serviced here.

I was a walk-in, needing an oil change, my tires checked, etc. From the parking lot, to the front desk, everyone was very polite, attentive and welcoming. The service was great, and they were very transparent with what I needed. Will 100% return for my next service!

I Live 25 minutes away in the trip is well worth the drive .The service is great. I also found that the price was 150 dollars less than the Fort Washington Tire center next to the Harley shop. Those people like the owner and the mechanics seem to be a rip off. Erich has a big smile as he quotes an outrageous price. Come see for yourself. Lenny and the crew wont let you down.

Needed a rush tire change, Robert and the team got the tire ordered and changed quick. After a terrible experience with my go-to dealer, I will definitely be using these guys in the future.

I hit a pothole and busted my tire. I pulled into the shop and it was closed. But the attendant, Sam saw my problem and although they were closed, he gather a technician that was on his way home. They fixed my tire quickly and professionally and I was in my way within 20 minutes. Thank God for decent people who are customer oriented. Thank God for Fort Washington Auto and Tire who rescued me.

I had a scheduled state inspection and oil changed. Felipe assisted me on the phone and check in. He was extremely patient and helpful in helping me find a time that worked and was very welcoming and friendly. The entire service took a little over an hour. They have an outdoor waiting area + hand sanitizer available. All employees wore masks. My car had a seat cover and a steering wheel cover. I was very satisfied with my overall experience.

Felipe did an outstanding job on my daughters first car, I feel 1000 times better knowing that she can drive safe. Amazing customer service, explained what had to be done with her car well, and overall good experience.

Took sisters vehicle in for Maryland inspection. Vehicle failed but, Jeff assured me that parts needed could be ordered and installed by close of business. The parts were ordered and installed. This shop made my day recently came in for a tire check and the staff were prompt on their service and out the door. The staff at shop were extremely professional and had good sense of humor.

Someone recommended this place because they said it was black owned and close to my house. My experience was not great. The manager constantly yells from the back while the service reps are speaking with customers. While waiting out front to pay, she is talking to the service rep about another customer.. negatively, while this customer was waiting. I was quoted wrong pricing and wrong parts to get. Although Sam was nice, the rest of the staff was not. I know they probably dont care but they will not get my business anymore.

I was on the phone when the customers was attacking my friend. They was in his face and all he was asking was to speak to a Mgr. He dropped his car off And it was never worked on completely. Apparently they worked on it but they did not test drive it. They stated that the employee did not know what he was doing. The young lady at the front desk was very hostile to my friend. Because they did not test drive his car after apparently fixing it, they would have noticed that it was another issue with the car that needed to be fixed. When driving on the beltway he hit a small pot hole and it triggered his car to shift the opposite way and almost ended up under a tractor trailer. I do not recommend this place to anyone. As an essential worker, we had word of mouth that this place was the best place to receive customer service. They lied.

While driving along yesterday i made a left from old fort road onto 210S and heard a pop. Not thinking much of it, i tooled along to my destination and as i closer to ft washington road my check tire pressure light came on. I thought thats weird these are new tires. Checking the pressure it read...8 psi!!! what? I continued to make a right at the gas station on proceeded directly to Fort Washington Auto and Tire! Pulling into the spot on a completely FLAT tire!! I mean,,,i just made it there! The staff there jumped into action once i explained the problem and I was back on the road in under 20 minutes! If you dont know Ive just informed you that these people cared! Thank you much to all that assisted me.

This auto shop is reliable, courteous and has reasonable prices. I have made them my go to shop for repairs, especially when other self proclaimed high end name brand shops stiff you and still do not complete the repair properly. The service at this place is reasonably quick and most importantly they are honest. They provide exceptional all around service.

Every time I come to Ft. Washington Auto - and I’ve been here several times with several different autos - I’m graciously and immediately greeted with a smile and acknowledgement by at least one of the attendees (even they’re all occupied at the time). When I am attended to I get a full explanation and assessment. I’ve always left satisfied, never felt cheated. And finally, I haven’t been able to find a match in MD yet as to their prices - I bring my luxury cars here for service as opposed to taking them dealership. They save me thousands and provide me with equal quality. As I’m typing this review I’m witnessing a Bentley pulling out from being serviced. That’s real talk. If you live in the D.C. area of MD, I don’t see why you would go anywhere else? I’m definitely not.

I was looking for a reputable repair shop to do a MD safety inspection. I saw the MD inspection station sign on their building as I transit Rt 210/Indian Head Highway. I checked and read the reviews on Google and while most were positive, their were a few negatives. I was impressed that the owner took the time to respond to every one with a clear explanation of the situation. My car is now at Ft. Washington Auto for the inspection. While the inspection may not be completed today (I dont have an appointment and they are booked) I am confident my visit will be positive. So far the staff is very friendly and courteous. I will complete this review after the inspection.

Paid for wheel alignment and they did not fix the problem. My car wasnt test driven it was just given back to me with the alignment still off. I nearly got in an accident because the alignment was so wrong.Came back to shop to get it fixed. Dropped my car off at 8 am and my car was not fixed. And was given attitude by the store owner, manager, and employees. I WILL NEVER EVER BRING MY CAR BACK TO THIS SHOP AGAIN! And suggest you dont either!!!

Sam is great but not enough to counteract the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the manager. On my second visit for reinspection for tint (for not removing all windows for which I take responsibility), she loudly announced from the back (as she does with most things and maybe isn’t aware of her volume though it’s mentioned in several comments) that I was only 50 miles from having to pay for a new inspection. That’s irrelevant to the situation and not anyone’s business. I really didn’t appreciate that or the service person’s joke about having my SSN and mother’s maiden name (that’s not a joke in these days of constant financial fraud). I hope this is addressed for future patrons, but I won’t be returning or recommending.

I’m not big on writing reviews but this time I had to. This shop is the best. I generally hate having to do anything with my car because men always try to take advantage of female drivers but Perez is the best ever. He took the time to explain what was going on with my car and made me feel comfortable. Not like he was trying to get over on me. I will be returning for any future needs. Thanks again guys.

Hey Sam was very professional and courteous and I was helped in timely fashion.

Visited the shop on Saturday Feb 15, to get brakes and rotors installed to pass MD inspection on my vehicle. The mechanic found a few other things that needed attention and had Tamara inform me of the diagnosis which I had them fix immediately in order to pass inspection. Although, I spent a little more than anticipated I have the reassurance that my brakes will function properly. I appreciate the professionalism of the owner Stan, Tamara and the new guy Sam.
