Beautiful course. Traveled a little over an hour to play here and Im glad I did. Beautiful fairways. Generous amount of challenge. Was busy while here but everyone that plays here seems patient and understanding. Some of the greens were a little ruff but thats not entirely the courses fault. Club house was a little depleted, but this could have been from the time of year and covid. If youre in the area I recommend giving this course a go.
Very nice golf course, we had played Cherry Hill years ago on this annual golf trip, the new players who weren’t involved with this trip in the past suggested we add Cherry Hill back to the list of courses we play. The staff were very accommodating and we were all very pleased with our experience.
I am a member and am very happy to see that the owner is fixing or replacing the old sand traps. The course itself is in great shape and is a fun and fair place to play for most all golfers.Low handicappers can play from the tips and be challenged and the rest of us can play from an appropriate set of tee boxes that fit your game.Great staff, great layout, and the best place to play in Fort Wayne.Once the bridges get repaired properly, I would give this course a full 5 stars.18 is the best finishing hole around.
Way over priced for condition. For a premier this place is in terrible shape. Clover and weeds all through the fairways. Nobody fixes ball marks on the greens. All round just not worth the price. For as much as you pay they should be able to at least spray for weeds.👎👎
Conditions were good, its late in the season so i didnt expect it to be perfect. The layout is a lot of fun, so many good approach shots, blind shots good bunkering etc. Very reasonably priced also. I would highly recommend this course to anyone. Pace was a little slower than normal, we played in about 4 and a half and no marshals out to enforce it which we were told is not normal. Other than that it was a fantastic day on the golf course. Ended up playing with another twosome to speed things up and they were fantastic, I had such a wonderful day here if you are ever in FT Wayne this is the course to play.
Decent price but portions of the course are being neglected. Slowly losing its status as a premiere course in the city
Great course at a pretty good value. The course is in great shape all year. Newer carts, concrete cart paths, manicured greens, and plenty of fun golf holes highlight the experience at Cherry Hill. It is a golf course that provides ample opportunities to score low (see my near-albatross on hole 14 in the picture), but can also make you pay for missed shots. I always enjoy the golf here and find many of the holes unique and fun.
Had my first hole in one ever, great course!
Great food. Great service.
Nice course and driving range.
Great Course, beautifully kept.
My mancation started here. What a great course. Fairways, green excellent condition!!! Super friendly staff. Cant wait to play again.
Nice course but they lost my tee time for 8 people that I scheduled weeks in advance for a reunion...
Owner is an honest and he will only fix what is broke. All his employees are very knowledgeable.
We had a great round today. They have a good weekday rate plus a senior rate. The course was in excellent shape. It was a very hot day but there was water available in both the clubhouse and on the course. Very friendly staff. Excellent range and practice facilities. Just a nice day without exorbitant prices.
Love their practice facility, beautiful driving range and practice green that is very fast.
Horrible service.....old guy is kind of a loser....
Half the greens were full of holes due to ball marks not being addressed. The staff was uppity and talked down to me. The island green was closed and we were not made aware. I understand the need to work on things at certain times, but at least make it known. For a more expensive course for the area, it was a little disappointing. I do have to say that this is the only time Ive ever felt this way at this course. I still will go back and love the layout.
Pricey, no senior rate, 😥.
Good
Not worth the price... very subpar course. Nothing special about course.I’ve played autumn ridge, river bend, and chestnut hill. All MUCH MUCH better courses for your money.Paid 35$ in the rain.... no special deal at all. Secondly, if you bring your spouse to just ride in cart — plan on paying EXTRA for them to ride in cart. NOT PLAY, JUST RIDE... and was forced to pay “nine holes” for them to RIDE IN CART. I’ve never experienced this sort of extra fee. Outrageous robbery.Definitely not worth the experience. The course it self wasn’t challenging or have any unique holes. Save some money go to Riverbend down the road.
Good greens. fairways are so so. they add 4 percent to the total if you use a credit card.
Played in the 1st Annual Veterans Scramble! Great time and an honor to be invited
Course is still in decent shape but degrading. Many bunkers have been eliminated and many more have no sand and are unplayable. On multiple occasions, the staff has seemed uninterested in taking my business. When it rains, the range is closed for like 48 hours.
Fun and challenging course, well manicured, quality practice areas.
Well kept fields.
Greens were a tad bumpy. Remaining of course was in great condition. Clubhouse staff were accommodating of moving a tee time.
Nice course, forgiving, bunkers are some with sand and some without, good pro-shop for clothes but no clubs, 4% charge when using credit card so bring cash.
Very expensive and hole 7 looked dead.
Cherry hill has gone down hill the course shape has deteriorated over the years and the individuals in the club shop have become incredibly rude and hard to work with. It’s too bad because this used to be a gem in Ft Wayne. Hopefully management can clean up the staff and get it back to where it used to be as a player friendly course.
Beautiful place to enjoy food and friends
Beautiful course one of the best in town
Decent golf, Decent service
Likely the best public golf course in town.
Course is in good shape, decent price for a round
I was hoping they would have some sand in the bunkers by now,its been at least 3 years, whats a golf course without sand
Good approaches
Fun challenging golf course
Greens are aerated but everything else is in very good condition.
Nice courseWell kept up
Nice course but the sand bunkers along with its sister course are the worse in the city and Cherry hill no longer has GPS
Decent course, horrible sand (actually gravel) traps.
Not the course that it used to be but still a decent course to play. Like most Fort Wayne courses it has become much busier because of all the courses that have closed in the area. Very slow golf most of the time.
Great course
Very nice range and setup.
Beautiful course and great staff
Great golf, great staff!
They really do serve greypoupon.!!
