I learn by ear & was self taught myself. I can strum all the days long, but hes going to teach me to actually PLAY (or shall I say SLAY 😁😄🤗😊) and hes going to get all my time, attention, and 💲money for his renowned teachings of the his great craft of Guitaring...now the Fort Wayne Guitar Exchange over on Wells Street the address is 1517 Wells Street; this phenomenal Archive of a building and store has nothing but beautiful guitars that sound so crispy make you want to smack your mama 2x till Wednesday. 😆😆😅😄😳🤐 I got in there and seen those different guitars that he has in there it just flipped me out. 😲 I just couldnt believe it, so much so that I have two electric guitars 🎸 that I own in which I am taking both of them in there and their and hopefully come out of there with a beaut of a good trade on some acoustic guitars. Because I love the sound of a good acoustic guitar 🪕 🤤 to Mė aint nothing like them in all the World. I can strum all day, but technically...I can not really play aesthetically. 🥺😞Now the pictures that Im going to show you is going to reflect the the beauty of this store and what he has in here in store for you as well. Honestly, Ive never seen before the sounds that they make of glorious omnipotentcy. It is a good sound in to the ears of God. 🎶👂🏾🙏🏾 and I never seen some of the things Ive ever seen in here. I heard of them maybe, but he got some guitars in here I have never even heard of before, never seen in my life. 😯😎👌🏽🤟🏽🤙🏽👍🏽 so if you want to see some cool stuff at a good price because most of what he has in here is used and reworked that he did himself. In that you cant even tell unless you know theyre older somethin. with some being brand new and he has some new to order. but most of all in here is used. My first time in this rare “old school” guitar shop! I’m a touring musician and needed some work on my Les Paul: he set it on the desk and started in immediately. He finished quickly and had me on the road in no time, but not without some guitar fellowship and great stories! I highly recommend this shop, some great guitars for sale and sort of a time capsule back into the 70s:)

What a great locally owned shop! The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and prices are very reasonable. We got a new guitar for me to begin again, but he had used options available. He also gives lessons and repairs guitars.

Spent a good while chatting with the owner, Skip, and i really enjoyed my experience! The business is currently a one-man operation so its best to call ahead, but definitely worth it. The service was excellent, the selection is eclectic and cool, and the environment has that hidden gem quality that us musicians look for. If you like old/unique/weird guitars then you will love this place!ALSO: Contrary to what the Facebook page says this shop is still alive and well.

I needed a pickup installed on my acoustic guitar. FWGE took care of me right away and did awesome work at a great price. Highly recommend this shop! Cant say enough good things.

I needed my acoustic guitar to be setup and Chip did an A++ job! (A setup is lowering the action, etc) he custom cut and installed a bone neck and saddle pieces, and we set it up with elixir nanoweb strings and now my $100 Jasmine guitar sounds better than my $1000 Martin!

Love this shop, its not the huge Walmart wanna be guitar store. Very friendly staff. They actually have parts in stock if youre looking for that knob or saddle piece your guitar is missing.
