I always shop at Lowes but came here to get a unique paint. I loved the huge aisle signs. I loved the self checkout that let me scan without shipping products and the screen was easy to follow.Im upset because I bought mini paint roller covers and got home to find out they only go with a special brand they alone carry, so now I have to go out of my way to return them. They couldve been displayed better.

Needed paint and painting supplies, and Home Depot has a Baer paint with primer that does a lovely job of covering deeply-hued walls. My Satin latex color was mixed to perfection and went on well. Two coats did the trick with no primer layer required to suppress the original color.This Home Depot on Lima has a knowledgeable staff who keep on top of trends and techniques. Wonderful all around experience!

I usually order online & pickup in store option.I really like their garden center in the spring although most of their plants come from GA and south, I have gone in to get plants for my garden & have none because they were sent back. It was just getting warm enough to work the ground!

The employees were super helpful & really friendly. And they didnt have 18 yr olds trying to run the store like the other home improvement store does.They actually have employees who know what they are doing!!!Our cashier Tammy was the best!!!!A++++++ Customer service all through the store.We had 2 employees ask if we had any questions or if we needed any help while we were looking at the mowers.Well definitely be shopping here from now on!!!

I drive the distance to go to this location, which is the only one I am aware of in Fort Wayne. All through 2020, the employees have maintained their friendly customer service to this day. I live near a Menards and ever since mask wearing became mandatory, I walk the store and the employees no longer ask if you need assistance. In fact, they avoid eye contact. Home Depot is my #1 go to especially if you want friendly and knowledgeable assistance. Thanks Home Depot for maintaining good customer service.

Same as the other BIG construction companies, but their employees are there ready to help while Menards is lacking good management skills and workers

Not very happy with the service on an online order. Ordered a pizza oven a month ago was only supposed to be 1 week late. Well here we are no email updates nothing from Home Depot on my order. Called Home Depot they had no idea what was going on. Like how do you not know, when it’s late almost a month. They had to call the vendor then had to wait 3 more days to even get a response out of them. Received the pizza today and box is dented up. Not pleased with the service for not even giving us a coupon or something for all the inconvenience

The two employees I spoke to at this location were rude and Not knowledgeable of where stuff is located at. I asked two employees where thermocouples for a water heater would be located at, the first guy pointed me in the complete wrong direction then the other employee was completely rude he acted annoyed that I’d even ask him a question. The women in the door department was the most helpful and told me that they aren’t even kept in stock and we’d have to get them online, I can’t remember her name but she was the only person that was actually helpful.

Go here regularly for home improvement projects. I like this store because it is stocked well, usually has plenty of help that knows where items are.

I know that Saturday is a busy day at any home improvement store. I entered knowing exactly where I needed to go for shower heads. There were people clogging the isles to discuss things but not staying to one side so others could get thru. I get to the aisle with shower heads, nobody was in the aisle. I looked at the selection then found what I was looking for on the wall of shower heads. I looked for the corresponding box and found it on the shelf at my head level but it was as far back on the shelf as it could be. I waited for a little while but couldnt find an employee to help. I tried to get creative to no avail. Finally a taller customer came into the aisle just as I was about to start climbing and I asked him for assistance. He was nice and helpful. This could have been prevented had the product been stocked to the front of the shelf or if any employee had been near. I think whoever watched the security feed could have even seen that I needed assistance.

Great staff. They were needing to restock, so they had a lot of stuff in the middle of aisles, making it hard to navigate and get to items I needed. But that doesnt happen all the time, just happened to be today.

They carry a lot of Dewalt tools which is my brand of choice, love the brand and the batteries are interchangeable. they have a selection better than Lowes at better prices! Will shop here again!

Every time I call this specific Home Depot, I get bounced around from department to department until eventually the automated system or a worker hangs up on me. I have called 5+ times within the past 3 days to try to get windows ordered. They dont seem willing to get this done for me, its unfortunate that my Andersen window quote was run through them.

We had them install a floor for us back in January...its May and still not completed! They admitted they were in the wrong and no compensation! They want us to find our own contractor to finish the job! Dont have them install your flooring!!! Spent over $5,000 and still not completed!

We ordered a bunch of items to be delivered and it’s been a nightmare. They delivered our pallet of flooring -25% of it was damaged. Half of the drop ceiling they didn’t have in stock and had to pick that up at the store (why did we have it delivered?). And we are missing the 4’ cross tees, which they don’t have any in stock. They have been out of stock for weeks. No one at the store seems to care including the store manager. So now our ONLY option is to drive 1.5 hours away to pick that item up!If that’s their idea of customer service I’m going to shop at LOWES! I’ve never had this sort of trouble there.

After Lowes sold my riding mower out from underneath me, The Home Depot took care of me and got me going with a new one. Im now a customer for life🤘🤘

Theres some debate as to which is the better store, Lowes or The Home Depot. Both have their plusses. But a big benefit that I found at the Home Depot has that Lowes doesnt in my hometown is a rental truck. For a little more than $20 I was able to rent a truck and haul my oversized purchases home. Items that would never fit in my car.

Im a little bias because my son works here but my dad and husband always makes a trip here to get what they need before they start a home project. They have a loading dock with great associates that will load all the concrete bags or mulch you need for your project, they have the lowest prices in Fort Wayne!!! So if your starting a home project stop here first!!

We ordered flooring 4 days ago online. We paid over $2,000, and chose this flooring because we were told it was in-stock at the store and we are in a time crunch. We were told the flooring would be ready in 24 hours.We then received a call the next day saying they have half in stock, but can not locate the other half of our order. They said they were going to cancel half of the order and call back in a few hours to let us know what they found out.2 days later, we still had not received a phone call. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone. and after being transferred 4 times to different people who just kept passing me around... I finally find out that they dont have the other half of the order in and need to order more. They have no idea when it will be in and cant issue a refund so we can purchase other flooring that they ACTUALLY have in stock.I understand the online ordering may not reflect actual stock amount, but the communication from Home Depot is absolutely abysmal and they do absolutely nothing to get you the information on an order that has cost you thousands of dollars.I am very unimpressed, and we will see how the rest of this transaction plans out. At present, I will not be using Home Depot for any more business or remodel supplies.EDIT: I called them the day after I was told the order would arrive at the store, and was told by 2 different people that half of the order that was in-store was ready for pickup, but the other half of the order was cancelled. The flooring specialist manager said if you want the full order still, a new order will have to be placed. Of course we want the order. We paid for the full order. I hung up, discussed the issue with my husband, and we decided we would just get a refund and go elsewhere with our business. When I called back, I was able to talk to a gentleman who normally works in the garden center who was by far the most helpful person I had talked to through this whole ordeal. It took him 5 minutes to find out that our full order of flooring had been in the store since mid-July. He even went and counted everything for us. I wish I had gotten his name, but if he reads this... I hope he knows how much we appreciate his help, and how much farther above his peers he is. He is management material, 100%. I am unhappy with Home Depot, but thanks to the gentleman who was FINALLY able to get us some actual concrete answers and find our flooring, I have increased the review rating.

Absolutely astonishing low level of customer service. Ordered washer,dryer, and refrigerator. THEY canceled washer two days before delivery, then asked if I still wanted the rest. I said yes, but nothing happened. They never called back, nothing. Left us hanging living out of coolers for a week. Store manager Stacy and asst. Brian had zero concern or empathy. We had to yell and scream at them for days to finally get our refrigerator and now were going through hell to get the refund on the rest. I will never set foot in there again.

Would rather drive a few miles more than go to the other places. Easier. Friendlier.

As a working professional with early hours, i really appreciate that Home Depot opens at 6am. That has saved me more than a few times when I have to pick up that last minute or overlooked item for the job.

After getting transferred around on the phone line at the store 5 times,I finally got to a person who could answer my question of whether or not a particular size of a furnace filter was available. I heard a resounding yes and so I went to the store and guess what? They dont have it.Amazing.

I had great customer service and recommend asking for her when doing some DIY projects with the window treatments/blinds.
