This place, when I went, is nice. It has nice staff and they will let you try the knives, which is great. However, their shipping of items that arent in stock is dodgy. If you need to return something, they charge you to ship it back to them. I find that crazy. If they (the main office) offer inferior products or services, it isnt really your fault that youre returning it. Avoid ordering. If they dont have it in stock, go somewhere else. Sur la Table is nice.

Bought about $550 worth of knives here about 3 years ago and have been sharpening them myself since. My sharpening system broke and I am waiting for my part to arrive so I decided to take advantage of their free knives sharpening. When I bought my knives the sales rep told me that I could bring them in anytime and its free lifetime sharpening. Well turns out its actually first knife is free and every one after that is $5. The cost doesnt bother me but now they say they dont sharpening Japanese steel and if they did they would have to hold my knife for 4 days. My knife is my livelihood. This store might be good for susy homemaker but not for the professional individual.

Picked up some really good coffee and a jar of amaretto cherries for my old fashioned drinks... just like Bordeaux cherries!

Outstanding!! Great service from start to finish, staff was walking around and available to answer any and all of my questions, were not pushy and even helped me sign up for a credit card to receive a nice discount all in about 5 minutes.

I was greeted at entrance by a well dressed professional sales person who directed me to the correct area in seconds but did not hammer me to buy ...I felt no superficial judgment ...The store was wonderfully organized with Great artistic displays. The lighting provided an inviting atmosphere.Currently there are Many Easter items from napkins to table runners+ small bunny cake molds! Everything was priced and placed for easy viewing. They have items for all budgets ranging from gift items to professional culinary arts.Very fair pricing considering the quality of even the tiniest cookie cutter.They HAVE several different styles of mortar+ pestels!.Sea salt × pepper grinders..yummy waffle makers...too pretty to use!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this location! I’d read a couple of reviews that left me worried, I’m not the typical demographic for this kind of store but I was hoping to find nespresso pods... the ladies working here were so kind and helpful and I didn’t feel a bit out of place. My boyfriend found a nice chef’s knife and sharpener that he couldn’t be more excited about, and even though they didn’t have the vertuo pods for sale, the kind woman helping me gave me some of their sample pods to try. I would definitely come back here, I loved my experience!

Fabulous! Hubby had received a French press for his birthday, but wanyed a coffee bean grinder instead. The wonderful lasies at WS helped him choose one, and since the press wasnt in stock, ordered it right there and arrangements made to have the grinder shipped. Perfect!

They didnt have a pastry lattice cutter. The clerk was rude thinking that I had cut in line but in fact several people cut in front of me, so many that the clerk did not recognize me as having been in line at all. They have never had the divice I went there for in the last 30 years. I wont go back until some one can show how to address customers needs.The original person who help me was trying and she at least was very nice.

Really disappointed. Hours say they close at 9pm. Got here at 8:45 p.m., lights were off and doors were locked. No one in sight.***EDITWent back a few days later at an earlier time. The cashier was sweet. Returning a gift was easy. The wait in between customers was a little longer than expected, although Im not sure the details of each customers purchase.

Lovely young lady helped me for over an hour. I went away pleased with my purchases....and the service!!!! Addendum: I went there yesterday and they are having a sale that is 20% off...even their CLEARANCE things are20% off! I got some gorgeous stainless steel utensils for 1/4th their regular price! Start putting things away now for the Christmas Gift Closet!! :-)

The store associates followed us around the store as we were shopping. No other customer was treated like this so I’m really confused as to why we were. Also when asked if the store is hiring for the holidays I was looked up and down and told “no I don’t think so”. Then at checkout when my dad pulled his gift cards out they rolled their eyes at him. And if that wasn’t enough one store associate decided to pull out one of the peppermint bark bars we bought and announced that it has 2 grams of protein so we shouldn’t feel too guilty eating them all. This was just an extremely embarrassing experience for me and family. I will not be returning.

Great stuff but staff is uninformed about how credit card and rewards points work. Ask 2 employees and you will get 2 different answers. Go to a different store where the employees know how things work.

I love Williams-Sonoma. Great quality, variety, and usually great service. This store seems a little crowded, but I was able to find the prep bowls I was looking for with no problem. Interestingly, some employees completely ignored us, while others were bubbly, friendly, and helpful. The cashier that helped us looked like helping us was giving her gas, but two other enployees saw us waiting there when our cashier stepped away and they got involved to help us-- with a smile, no less. Overall, I would come back if I was in the area, but wouldnt make a special trip to come to this particular location.

We just got married and had some big gift cards to use so we visited the store on Sunday afternoon 9/14/14, about 2:30. We browsed for approximately 30 minutes without ONE employee speaking to us or asking us if we were looking for anything in particular. There were less than than 10 customers in the store and several employees. We left without purchasing anything. Maybe well just spend the gift cards online and not bother with the store anymore. We were doing the same thing yesterday at Bed, Bath & Beyond and I lost track of how many different employees asked if we needed anything. Ive worked in customer service before, it is (or should be) standard practice to at least touch in with every customer. A very different experience indeed! Thumbs up to BB&B, Thumbs DOWN to WS.

Wandered through here for a quick look. Its smaller than most Williams Sonoma, but they have all the usual stuff. It feels very crowded, however, and the staff wasnt very friendly or helpful.

This place is a very special kind of store. Pots and pans gadgets and cookware for people who really love to cook. The prices are steep but they run storewide 20 to 30 % off specials occasionally that you can take advantage of if you join the newsletter and receive notice.

Awesome customer service

Ordered a calphalon Saute Pan and never received delivery. Requesting a credit for the invoice and the customer agent is telling me I have to wait till UPS returns the item rather that issue me a credit for not meeting their delivery date. No consideration and will never be a customer of Williams Sonoma again.
