I am a consumer advocate and the author of many 5 star reviews but just one, one star review. This is it.At the initial visit I brought with me my retired eye doctors records for review. Alexander, O.D. did not look at those records. She then said I might have a problem that was progressing, and return in 3 months. This was frightening. Upon questioning about wouldnt it be good to look at past imaging of my eyes, she said yes, then took no steps to get these records to determine if I had an emergent problem. Im still frightened.Then, upon picking up my frames, Dr. Alexander had changed my prescription, and areas were blurry. I was told to return to meet another doctor, there were staffing problems, and no doctor was at the location to make a correction for a week. I made a third visit with a different doctor who seemed to be competent, though like Alexander fresh out of school and thus lacking in experience.Thru a series of mishaps and mistakes, including Vision Center losing the frames I had paid for, I STILL HAVE NO NEW GLASSES.Apologies and assurances were abundant and promises of a RUSH order an ephemeral appeasement to get me off the phone.Your eyes are important. My vision insurance paid this non-professional acting company lots, besides the few hundred dollars I was out pocket. I am outa luck when it comes to getting new glasses from a different doctor of my choice because Vision Center ate up all of my insurance.On an happy note the location is tony and marketing slick; but one would have to be blind to not realize that this is a company thats not good enough to have management call me with an apology upon explaining the above story in detail; instead conveying thru a staffer that Dr. Alexander was not longer an employee of The Vision Center of Fort Worth.

Great service . Upscale, large, clean facilities. Took our insurance and were able to book an appointment, complete an eye and contact lens exam, pick glasses and file insurance work all during the same visit. This is a new location and I would highly visit. Frame selection is limited to name brands so you might have to take your prescription to another store if you are wanting other options

I went to the Vision Center, not expecting anything outside of the norm, only to update my two year old eye prescription; yet, was I surprised. The optometrist nailed the exam like I had never experienced in over 30 years of routine eye exams: she was spot on! All optometrist are not equal, her thoroughness was evident in my pleasure looking through those new lenses, it was peace and tranquility for me as soon as I put them on. Then Kate, and Alisheia, their opticians were really swell, and patient in helping me with final eye glass selection and order placement cover insurance benefits and my costs upfront, and delivery date. My new specs came in that same week, and was I blessed. If need be I could sleep in these glasses. Later, I went in for a frame adjustment, and the same thing happened: phenomenal customer service. Thanks Eye Team, at the Vision Center on West 7th Ave in Fort Worth TX.

No long wait time. I was able to get in in about 5 minutes. Everyone is so sweet. They answered all of my questions without me feeling like I was asking too many questions.

I was really pleased with everything about my experience .. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and I never felt rushed when it was time to find a pair of glasses . Dr. Alexander was the same way. she listen and answered all of my questions about the exam and eye health . I will for sure be going to this location in the future.

Dr. Leigh is amazing and her staff is wonderful. The office itself is beautiful. I never felt rushed, and she made sure to answer all of my questions thoroughly.

CUSTOMER SERVICE = Above and beyond. I recently went in for glasses for my little girl and Katie was incredibly helpful and patient with us through the process. I cant thank her enough for all she did to help us find the perfect frames for our little one. I am looking forward to seeing Dr. Alexander in a few weeks and cant wait to purchase my eye glasses from here in the future.

All I can say is wow! Just moved to Fort Worth and needed to get established at a new practice and I’m so impressed! Dr. Alexander was super thorough through my exam and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly! The glasses selection was great and had tons of variety in all different price ranges. Will be going back for all future exams!! Great experience!!

My previous eye doctor was fine, they did their job. The Vision Center takes it to the next level! I was thoroughly impressed with their technology, care, efficiency, and customer service. I felt like a person in both the exam room and the glasses fitting. I never write reviews but I had to for this one!

The Vision Center is a one of a kind of place. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in and knew it was going to be the experience anyone would ever hope for. This is by far the best vision center in the DFW metroplex. When you walk in the door you will be greeted with a smile and a beverage menu. Dr. Alexander is personable and professional. She takes the time to explain your exam thoroughly and you can tell she actually cares about her patients.
