Ive been doing business with Mike & his wife for 21 years for ammo & my rifle. Hes one of the most knowledgeable people Ive known in the business. His attitude, personality, & passion show through with his products, service, & how he treats his customers. Im also proud to say that Mike & I, & his wife are all TCU Horned Frog alumni. Please give Mike your time & business. You wont be disappointed or discouraged
A small, cozy little gun store run by a man that has been in business for decades and willingly shares his years of experience. Strikes a wonderful balance between being helpful and being a know-it-all. The store is a little difficult to find being tucked way back in a strip center but definitely worth the effort.
Typically do not write these but I had to this time around. I have purchased ammo here multiple times. Prices are a bit high but it is the closest shop to me. What has me writing this is how unprofessional the gentleman is. I tried to call for a FFL transfer and got yelled at over the phone for asking if he could request the license from the FFL the gun would be shipped to. Not to mention he tried to charge me $75 plus insurance and shipping. I wont be purchasing any more overpriced ammo here.
I bought a Remington shotgun from them about 7 months ago. Owner was an awesome guy. Shared a lot of gun knowledge with myself and a buddy. I would definitely shop here again. Support small local business
Great customer service and you will have a hard time finding a guy with more knowledge about all things guns and ammo. Prices are fair with all considered.
I walked in, owner was busy with a customer. He almost immediately asked if he can help me with something. I told him I was there for some ammo. He showed me right to it and he said he would be back with me in a moment. He finished up with the customer while I was looking at their ammo and then came to help me. He gave me tons of advice which I enjoy very much appreaciate. Awesome shop, a little pricey on ammo but not to bad.
Best in the business
This is a mom and pop shop. A married couple run this place and I love going to this store. Yes it might be a little higher on price and I am fine with that. My money is supporting a couple, not a ceos vacation home in another country.
Tried to arrange to transfer a pistol with this shop. They said they do not normally do transfers. Wanted $75 for a 4473. This store is probably a rip off. Normally stores charge $10 To $20 for a 4473.
Great people and good prices
The gentleman I talked to was extremely knowledgeable, plus it’s the only place I’ve found in the area that has plenty of 5.56 and 223 ammo
Customer service knowledgeable and helpful ....
Very professional. Excellent service. Great and experienced gunsmith. Capable of any type of repair at a fair price. Highly recommended.
We brought some visitors from Japan who were curious about seeing a REAL American gun shop, and Firearms Unlimited did not disappoint. Mike kindly explained the current laws in a way they could understand, and even gave them a couple paper targets as souvenirs. All in all a great experience!
I have been doing business with firearms unlimited since 1981. Excellent customer service, answers questions well. Go to place.
I know almost nothing about guns but no worries. The owner and his wife treated me warmly and I got good advice as to which gun is ther right weapon for me and where to get training. Once you buy your weapon from here they will take care of you. They serve you coffee too. ; )
The only things Unlimited about this place are the prices. He wanted $6 for a $1 o-ring. He then had the gall to explain to me why he only does 4473 FFL transfers under special circumstances...He wants people to buy his guns instead of facilitating transfers from other dealers. Fat chance Id ever buy a gun there.
This shop has been around for a long time and theres a reason. Prompt, courteous consistent and kind.Good people who sell good products for good prices...
Rude...Rude People. We went there for the first time. The owner acted mad that we came in and then proceeded to treat us like we smelled bad or something. My husband asked about a gun on the wall with a price tag on it and he was promptly told that the gun was not for sale. so...why is it on the wall...with a price on it. We left the store and we will Never go back. There are to many stores that would like to have our money. This guy acted like he could not have been bothered...so we wont.
This is a cool little mom and pop type place. They do not have the best prices in town, but they are friendly and can answer questions more accurately than the 16 year old gun counter clerk at Academy.
Jacked up the price of 9mm to a dollar a round. Theres a special place in hell for this guy.
Great shop to get good advice or hard to find pieces. Smart guy running it and always happy to help with expert knowledge.
Cant stress enough how horrific the customer service is. Terrible selection of guns also overpriced. Dont waste your time. They are the kind of gun store that treats you like you are incompetent. There is a way better gunstore in Benbrook across from Wal-Mart
First and Last time cutomer. This shop does not know what there talking about. All products are over marked and poor quality. VERY VERY RUDE. I would not recommend this to any avid gun owner or sportsman shooter. You will get screwed.
Great place, friendly employees! Will return
Great customer service
