I rarely write reviews, but I know that buying or selling a vehicle,especially an expensive used one, can be mysterious and stressful. I certainly felt that way heading into my last transaction, but those feelings melted away almost instantly. When I decided to sell my in-demand Defender D90, Source Motors emerged in an online search as one of the most reputable places to consider. Andre returned my call quickly, and after a short, friendly conversation and sharing some information online, we made a deal. It was fast, painless, and financially lucrative. We made the exchange at his boutique shop in Costa Mesa, and it was easily worth the drive from Malibu. I will likely be a buyer on my next transaction, and I will turn to Source Motors first. Bad experience, flew from Houston to California to view the vehicle in person . Was advice that the vehicle had been gone thru completely and turn out that they didn’t. After the test drive I notice an oil leak and one of the windows didn’t want to go up or down . I pointed that out and sales guy said it was normal which is not . Was able to talk to the owner to see if they were able to fix cause I really like the vehicle and he said yes of course fly back to Houston and when ready I’ll ship it out . Once arrived in Houston the owner calls me and demands the money because supposedly they have another buyer . So I paid him and advice they were already fixing the oil leak and the window . After two weeks the owner says that the vehicle is ready that they are looking for a shipper . Turn out that a whole month goes by an they can’t find a shipper . Had to find my own shipper. When the vehicle arrives the still has the oil leak and window problem. I called the owner and he mentioned what do you expect it’s an old vehicle and within a day or so problem seem to arise. Priced 100k, with 40k miles lol . That he wasn’t responsible for anything after purchase. Our agreement was he was fixing the oil leak and the window . That never happens . So I sent the veichle to my hummer dealer turn out that the vehicle was never run thruly . Spent approximately 25k to fix the oil leak and other issues that it had . Easy to collect your money but after that ignored all my calls to make it right . Highly don’t recommend these people they are a joke !!! Any one feel free to reach me I have all my receipts and proves .
