I travel for a living and I go to as many toy shops as possible. This is the best Ive seen for a few reasons. Sterling was very knowledgeable but more importantly he was very easy and fun to chat with. Another huge thing.. the prices. It is SO often that shops price by market availability which can range from understandable but kinda uncool to outright evil. This shop has the fairest prices Ive seen anywhere. Absolutely fantastic shop.

This place has everything you could want if you’re a toy collector! Whether you’re looking for Marvel Legends or high end Japanese stuff, they got you covered. The Godzilla selection is monstrous! Tons of obscure goodies and rarities to be found. There are always people having a great time playing card games and hanging out. Good vibes all around and the owner really knows his stuff. Definitely one of my new favorite stores!

Cape and Cowl has an amazing owner, a wonderfully pleasant customer base, and a great atmosphere.Every time I step into this store I just feel so good, the people in there have such positive attitudes and everyone is just having a great time. Yes! the best! As an older collector, I love going into this shop. They have the best selection of Marvel Legends figures in town! At the best prices! If youre looking for a hard to find figure, look here first. Not only is the selection of new figures great but so is the selection of loose figures. I couldnt recommend them more.

This place is simply wonderful. The employees are really friendly people, and their selection is fantastic. Theyre also very generous in buying figures from you. Ive made quite a profit selling my old stuff. I hope this place stays for a long time. I highly recommend stopping by if your looking for great selection, and deals on action figures.

Worst experience at a comic book store EVER. There are too many comic and collectible stores in the LA area for you to waste your time at this place. Store clerk on a Sunday was rude and had an attitude problem to put it nicely. I would give this store negative stars if I could.

What more can you ask for when the owner legit knows your name, your preference of collectable and literally anything you tell him. Every time we go in. We are treated with respect. Being mom I am always informed of the each and every guy with out any attitude of not knowing my stuff. It has become tradition for my boys to bring their birthday and Christmas money their. They get so much more for their money. And being 2nd hand on most of the stuff, no packaging to deal with. Although they have boxed collectables aswell. This place is by far a family favorite with always something new.

This is the best little toy shop youll find in a hundred miles. Great Prices! Lots of Marvel Legends, both new in package, and loose. Star Wars, pops, DC, some Transformers, Godzilla, Neca, and many other toy lines are found here, including some vintage stuff. Also carries alot of card game supplies, mostly for Magic the gathering, but some others as well. On top of being a great toy store, the owner Sterling is awesome. Extremely friendly, will chat with you about any toy you can think of if you catch him at a slower time, and really has a passion for all things collectible. If youre a collector, you need to check this place out!

I was visiting Orange County from Tennessee and Cape and Cowl was my go-to spot for figures while I was there. Friendly and helpful staff. Organized and varied inventory. I was happy to see so many S.H. Figuarts, Mezco, Mafex, etc. Highly recommend this store.
