Every time I have tried to donate items to Savers, I call before I arrive just to confirm what I see on the website. When I arrive, i am told, Oh we cannot take these items (chairs or desks-unassembled). There is a lack of education among the employees. Highly recommend donating to other companies.

We ended up with a big haul from this Savers! They have quite the book selection and the assortment of clothing and shoes is also pretty massive. Everything is always just a little untidy, but it’s a busy place so that’s to be expected - just get ready to really spend some time here to find those hidden gems. We love going here for the books! Make sure to look through all the sections because the organizational system only goes so far and there are sometimes good finds in unexpected places.

I love savers . Ive have been shopping there over 10 year.My children and I lived in a shelter and when I moved to framingham that was the place to start on a low budget. Savers has things or item that you cant find any more. I love vintage clothing as well as household item, curtain that factories dont make anymore, just so much more I also shopped the Boston savers and the staff their were so helpful..keep up the good work savers its customers like me who keep coming back . Over the past year, I have grown very concerned with the Framingham location. The place has gotten very dirty and the facility is just worn down. I have to agree with other posts regarding the rudeness of the managers, but I have found the clerks to be helpful. Many of the items are well over-priced even for products that have no value and should be thrown in the trash and not sold at all. For instance, last night I noticed a Pyrex measuring cup. It was priced at $4.99. It seemed a bit high to me for a used measuring cup. I checked on line, and I was correct. The cup could be purchased brand new for $5.00. To make matters worse, the rim of the cup had multiple chips. It was garbage and if sold, and used could potentially hurt the patron(s). I noticed the that there were were multiple pocketbooks behind the counter in the front of the store.. Most looked extremely worn and the price tags were pricey given the condition. I was curious and asked why. The answer was perplexing. All bags priced above $10 dollars displayed behind the counter because they are designer like MK, Louis, Vera B. Again, every bag in the case,, was not worthy of the $10+ tag. It keeps getting better. I noticed a 3 pair set of socks. They were brand new and the Marshalls sales tag was still on them. Marshalls price was $5.99. The Savers tag was $6.99. That didnt make sense to me. It had to be a mistake. I showed the clerk who referred me to the manager. I showed the manager the tags. It wasnt a mistake at all. She gave me a look of disgust and then responded, I can match the Marshalls price tag.

Framingham savers is refusing to accept clothing exchange even with receipt and all tags on just because it’s from another savers store. I have officially filed my complaint with the organization and I hope they call me and I will give all the names of the employee who made me lose almost 3 hours and then not accept the exchange.

Most important-very misleading regarding what percentage of profits are donated. It is impossible to find out and I wonder why..... it is a for profit organization. People think profits are going to a charity and I doubt it is a high percentage. Also prices have skyrocked this past year. A good mans shirt is priced at $15- it was $9 year ago. If the profit was going to charity that would be fine. But the item was donated in good faith, and the profit to supposedly charity-not a huge profit for Savers.

The store itself was organized and had a huge selection of all kinds of stuff which was great. Checking out was a nightmare because there were 3 cashiers who were as slow as all get out, and there was zero direction from anyone on how to form an orderly line.. the result was us waiting in the checkout line trying to pay and leave for at least 40 minutes.. other than that, the experience was just fine.

Wow. Really surprised at this savers as I expected so much more especially at this specific location due to it being next to the natick collection and so many upper class towns. Not only was it like a terrible garage/basement sale with items I wouldn’t even buy but these thoroughly used items were more than what you pay new in store! For instance for garden planters and pots, glassware etc. The place itself is like a dirty basement and you are taken back by the smell of mothballs when you walk in, I almost walked right back out. The bathroom is falling apart—literally the sinks are falling off the walls and there are old dirty towels on the floor. I’m truly shocked because I’ve never been to a savers like this and I’ve been to many all over Mass. Sad.

Everytime I came here, none of the staff who took my donated clothes expressed any gratitude, not even a smile...They literally make you feel horrible by donating to them because theyre probably thinking Oh I got more work to do now, instead of Oh more free clothes=more revenue for us.. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!

On top of Savers being one of the worst companies in the country, they are also the worst place to shop and donate. You think youre doing good by donating here but in fact the corporation pays pennies to the nonprofit partners for the donations its such a joke, they make themselves out to be this company that improves the lives of so many but it is truly not the case. Then they say they recycle that another joke, the recycling program is to send it to developing nations where it can be sold for profit. And 90 % of what they cant sell they just throw out in the dumpster in the back. This store in particular is horribly managed, they wonder why they have no staff its because no one wants to work for the condescending pompous manager. All they care about is revenue which is why all employees are required to work on all holidays. This store is also extremely overpriced, over packed, and never cleaned. Just going into the parking lot you can see that it is littered with debris. most of the items in the store are either broken or over priced, dont try to bring anything to the store manager whose name by the way is Chris, Ive tried to have multiple conversations with him and all he does is disrespect me and huff and puff around. Savers, do yourself a favor, stop lying to your customers and find new management for the Framingham store, youve lost an incredibly loyal shopper who will never stop into your store again, Sister Thrift is right down the street and the service, quality, and prices there are much better

Hey its Savers, is dirty, unorganized, and awesome. Great finds at low prices. Parking is easy, and the location is close to major roads. Great selection of sport coats and outerwear. Because this is a relatively affluent area you can find some top beans at tag sale prices. If youre a deal-lover like me, then youll live this place.

The manager of Framingham Savers is a racist and rude. The cashiers there accuse you of changing prices and raising prices at own convenience. So you choose whether to buy or not. Making complaints there is impossible the manager does nothing and is not interested in helping you if you are not to his liking. I went with my 6 year old son and the manager yelled at him and he was rude. He is a poorly polite old man who doesnt remember that he was once a child. And then how to accuse him if he is the manager and how did I ask about the cashiers if the manager is equally rude? i will not came back ever 😡

Its okay kinda dirty place. You can find a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Prices seem to be fair for second hand things. The one in Framingham I went to had lots of books, glassware, dinnerware, pots and pans. Used coffee makers, bread machines, a used George Foreman or two. There was toys, puzzles, and arts and crafts.Loaded with clothes from the toddler on up to adults. Shoes and sneakers for all.You just have to look very carefully at everything after all it is a second store. They do say someones trash is another persons treasure.

If the manager at night is just there to chat up her friends and give them discounts then maybe it is time for a new manager. I stood at the jewelry counter 10 minutes staring at her and was there before she rang them out and apparently gave them an over the top discount. If you see someone waiting and you know it will literally take 1 minute you should help them before talking to your friends.

As soon as we pulled in you could tell savers lazy employees did not want to see a large truck. I was told to leave as they could not take anything. Asked for a manager, they said he was on break but sitting in his car smoking pot right out back. A wyclef looking fellow got out of the car with a very bad attitude because I had disrupted him while on break. To sum up the only nice considerate gentleman there was named Josh he was the one that told me to come down and I could tell he felt bad.Never will I try to help the needy through savers again.
