Thanks to Billy Thompkins, our long awaited kitchen project is finally underway. We found the cabinets we had been searching for at Consumers and with the help of our designer Billy Thompkins our dream is near. Every inch counts in an old house and Billy has been super patient, thorough, detailed and honest about what works and doesn’t work to get the best fit. Together we have selected a look appropriate to an older home with materials that go well together. Since this is a work-in-progress I will have to post an update once everything is done.

After an exhaustive search for the perfect bathroom vanity online and at the big box stores, I decided to stop in to my local Consumers Kitchens and Baths showroom in Franklin Square. Joe Thompson helped me design the perfect vanity and select a coordinating quartz top. It was exactly what I had been searching for. His patience and attention to detail made it the most pleasant shopping experience. When I needed to make a change to my original selection, Anthony at the showroom assisted me, explained my available options and guided me in selecting exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a personalized experience with attention to detail and a quality product, this is the place to go. I will definitely use them again in the future for any kitchen or bath remodeling needs.

Completely redid my bathroom and chose Consumers Kitchen because I prefer to pay a little more for one stop shopping and better customer service. Well, the customer service is not there once they get your order. I had an issue, salesperson referred me to customer service, who eventually called me and never called me back. For the price I paid I expected much more (even in terms of quality).

This company has the worst customer service in the world. I completely understand that we are in uncertain circumstances with COVID-19 but the level of non service that I have received from this company is next level. My designer is Joseph Thompson from the Franklin Square store and we decided to purchase stock cabinets due to the lead time of 2-4 weeks. That was in April. As of today July 10, 2021 this order has been delayed SIX times. The due dates for this order was 5/21, 5/28, 6/1, 6/25, 7/16, and now 7/30. I have emailed and not gotten any response. So now I’m sitting in a gutted kitchen with no response. I will NEVER recommend this place to another person.

I bought a top of the line (Starmark) bathroom vanity from CKB. (I have a long history of buying from CKB). When the vanity arrived it appeared that the track on one of the doors was missing. I called the Franklin Square store where I purchased the vanity. I spoke to sales people including the manager who told me he would arrange to have the track mailed to my home and I would have to install it. I told him Im 67 years old and not mechanically inclined and why should I have to install it. I eventually connected with Andrew Greenwald my sales rep. His customer service skills are outstanding. He told me he was on it and that he would arrange to have a service man come to my home and install the missing track. Two minutes after the phone call with Andrew I received an email confirming that a request was put out to CBK service department. Now thats how a customer should be handled. You almost lost me, my extended family and friends as customers. But Mr. Greenwald saved the day. He showed me that it wasnt just about making the sale, but wanted to ensure I was a satisfied customer. Kudos for a good hire in Andrew Greenwald.

Joseph Thompson was amazing in helping us pick out the cabinets that fit our needs. Gave us all possible options, was very patient with us when designing the kitchen cabinet layout, and the price was perfect. Started remodeling kitchen cabinets just before Covid lockdown, Consumers was fantastic through it all. Once lockdown was in place, they were patient in warehousing cabinets, and waiving all costs associated with it. The final product after installation was more than we expected. Cabinet reps even came to our house to fix a defect with the cabinets - all arranged through Consumers!

They don’t stand behind their products and contractors they give their work to. I received defective product and they refused to participate in rectifying the matter. Very unprofessional and disappointed. My contractor will never use them again.

At first Andrew Greenwald didnt know what hit him when we walked in with a nearly impossible design for a new kitchen. GREAT experience! Our kitchen looks beautiful and we love it! We went with Starmark cabinets. They are very well made with all solid wood. We did a lot of research and checked out 7+ cabinet stores including a couple that also carry Starmark cabinetry. I’m so happy that we finally chose Consumers Kitchens & Baths! In addition to the great prices and quality cabinets, they take care in delivery. My cabinets came in perfect condition. We worked with Andrew and he was soooo helpful. He was very knowledgeable and very patient, and answered all my (a lot) questions. We liked working with Andrew so much that we ended up ordering kitchen counter, bathroom vanities and vanity top from Consumer and we are happy with all of them!

Worked with Keith and he was beyond knowledgable and very patient with my numerous questions. Consumers custom measured my kitchen and from there Keith was able to show me a suggested virtual kitchen floor plan on the huge flat screen monitor in the showroom and make the changes I wanted. I went with Starmark brand cabinets and they are unbelievably well made, all solid wood and worth every penny. One end panel did arrive with damage and it was immediately replaced. We purchased kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, vanity countertops, medicine cabinets, cabinet hardware, and faucets from this location of Consumer Kitchen and Baths and couldnt be happier. Everything is just perfect in our new home.We actually started with one sales rep who was having a personal issue so was absent day after day after we gave our deposit, which was quite frustrating. Steve Bingham began covering for his fellow employee, with no expectation of receiving any commission. Nevertheless he treated us with the same courtesy and patience as he would his own customer. When the other sales rep finally quit or was let go Steve took over our account and we were much happier with him than we had been with the previous rep.You have to see Steve Bingham when you go. He spent countless hours working with us to get everything just right. He answers emails and phone calls quickly. When one small glitch occurred during the cabinet installation Steve immediately took care of it.If you go on the weekend you might want to call first to make sure Steve is there and possible make an informal appointment with him, as he had one customer after another coming to see him as he was helping us. But consulting with him is definitely worth it!
