I came across Royal Way on my way home from Hempstead State Park. I did not expect so many fresh cooked hot menu options. Usually health food stores just have a few items and most of it is in the refrigerated section. Mary, the owner is an amazing lady, passionate about organic food and natural health. She is from Nigeria but was an MD in Russia, and speaks fluent Russian. I caught her by surprise when I switched from speaking English to Russian. She has an incredible story and background but what stood out most was how warm, welcoming and kind she was. She made me feel like I was right at home and could talk to her about anything. She changed her career in conventional medicine to help people recover their health the natural way, helping customers select the right supplements and tailor their diet. She also offered some free samples while I was there, which was nice. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit, so many fresh options on the menu or if you just need someone for advice with health, Mary is definitely the person to speak with.

I’ve never felt so at home walking into a business. Mary (the owner) has the biggest heart and smile. She truly cares about what we put into our bodies. Not only does she care for our wellbeing but makes incredible smoothies! You can tell these smoothies are organic just by taking one sip. Thank you Mary!

I have been in the area for over a month and happened to stumble upon this hidden gem today! The owner of the store immediately greeted me with a smile and was very nice and knowledgeable. She truly wants to help people achieve their health and nutritional goals. The menu has a lot of delicious options—I opted for a tropical green smoothie. It was so fresh and delicious! I am definitely coming back! :)

This place is unbelievably beneficial. Mary the owner is a human library of nutritional, biological, herbal and wellness knowledge. You tell her what is ailing you and she will concoct a juice or smoothie that will literally work on that problem immediately. I had 2 different examples of this personally.She is also very personable, caring and EXTREMELY passionate about helping people and will answer as many questions as you may have for her. One time she spent over 30 minutes with me discussing various supplement and food combinations that would help with high blood pressure and sleep issues I was having, and they helped greatly. I cannot recommend this place enough as it always has the freshest ingredients, the most recent nutritional & medical information and is meticulously kept clean. (she cleans the frozen yogurt machines with bottled filtered water, I saw her doing that on my first visit, lol)

I wish i would of know about this place and this wonderful lady. I would never go anywhere else even though that person is cheaper. She makes this smoothies that would blow anybody product out the water.. one of her drinks is called tropical turmeric. I wish i was eating healthy my whole life.

A friend and I went in the other day and loved our experience from start to end. The lady behind the counter was as sweet as can be and directed us in picking the perfect smoothie (which was delicious). She even grabbed some lemongrass tea from the back when she heard me say I was looking for some. We will definitely be returning.

I had the Tropical turmeric cleanser green smoothie and I felt the effect within hours and the drink is fresh and taste very delicious.

Customers really get the royal treatment at Royal Way Health Food Store! From the delicious juices to the organic cosmetics, this store really provides quality care and great customer service. The owner, Mary, is a medical doctor who is a wealth of knowledge on natural remedies and alternative health care. She recommended raw apricot seeds to me when I told her of my 9 year struggle with anemia. They have really made an improvement in my blood count. Mary also recommended natural remedies for my thyroid condition. If you are ever in the Franklin Square area, I highly recommend that you stop by and try her organic, home made yogurt or one of her delicious organic meals.

Drove 20 mins during my lunch break just for them to be closed. I arrived at 12:15pm on 6/14th and their store hours indicated that they opened at 12pm. Horrible experience. Waste of time. One and done! Very unprofessional.

I came here very dizzy and with headache pains, Mary helped me quickly and she gaved me a free sample of Floradix iron & herbs.
