Hired in Dec 2016 for simple job of adding returns to our bedrooms to relieve some stuffiness and balance our heating system a bit better. Were very unhappy at the time as they tracked mud all over our house and did not clean up. Also kicked a hole in one of our walls without even mentioning it.Started sleeping with our bedroom door closed lately and noticed it was still very uncomfortable in our bedroom. Looked and the return damper was closed. It wouldnt open. Removed the cover from the wall and saw it wouldnt open because there was a joist right behind it (they must have discovered this when opening the wall and just ran with it). Looked closer and they didnt even run ducts to this return, it just opens to our basement below (same was done with an adjoining bedroom).I get that letting air flow out of the room helps somewhat, but we requested returns. And even so, the lazy hole in the wall doesnt help much if you cant open the damper.So what did we pay $500 for? Someone to come make a mess of our house requiring a few hours of cleaning, the need to patch drywall, a hole cut into our wall and some $10 return covers.I want them to fix their mistakes, but also never want to see them in my house again and am worried about what further damage and mistake could result.
We first had an experience with Burant summer 2020 when our AC was leaking water. One of their technicians came out, emptied out a tube and drilled a hole in our AC to check for further moisture. He did not check the unit itself and sold us a maintenance package and left fairly quickly. A week and a half later our AC went out completely and they sent out another technician who said their may be a possible leak of refrigerant and if they refill it there is no guarantee it will be fixed. I questioned why they didn’t catch that the first time less than two weeks ago and the new technician said the company let go of initial tech because he was causing issues. While this tech was in our home he offered to refill our refrigerant with no guarantees for a few hundred bucks or get a new AC unit install for $1100-$1500. This was obviously frustrating because we just paid for a tech visit and a maintenance package. While he was here his supervisor called and said he read over our notes and to waive the fee to refill the refrigerant. Well that didn’t work and we need to purchase a new ac unit. Because of our experience with Burant we were hesitant to move forward with them and even asked for a maintenance package refund which they denied. We ended up hiring Mr Holland’s heating and cooling who provided amazing service and efficiency.Fast forward to Nov 2020, Burant called us to let us know they are coming out for maintenance of our furnace for winter. The guy again, was in and out and said everything looks great. This was Burant’s third chance (because we wouldn’t be refunded for this package) last week January 2021 our heat goes out and I woke up at 4:30am ice cold. I couldn’t figure out what happened after resetting everything. I checked the air filter and it was filthy, there was a blanket of dust on it that Burant never mentioned to us. I called them because they were just at my house and explained what was happening. They couldn’t guarantee service would come that day, but I couldn’t wait because I have a son and a dog at home. They said if they come and realize the cause was due to their tech they would waive the fee, however I don’t fully trust that they would be honest with me. So I called Mr. Holland’s and they came out the same day to repair my furnace. They found that the flame sensor was not cleaned, the drain tramp was not cleaned and one of the flame sensor wires was wearing (all items that Burant maintenance should have covered.) I highly recommend Mr Holland’s for their quality, expertise, honesty and great customer service. It’s unfortunate that Burant’s wanted me to follow up with them to find out what Mr. Holland’s completed, when I called them to let them know, their owner and service manager never called me back. They had multiple opportunities to make this right and they chose to ignore it and rip us off. Very disappointed with Burant and how they handled everything. Please save yourself the hassle and go to Mr. Holland’s.
My AC unit stopped working last night. I called Burant heating and Air Conditioning LLC when I got off work today and a technician (Adam) was at my home in 20 mins! First off he was professional and courteous! The problem was diagnosed and taken care In a timely manner. I would highly recommend Burant Heating & Air Conditioning LLC to anyone. I am now a loyal customer and will have them on speed dial for all AC and Heating needs. Excellent work Adam!
We had emergency service for our AC unit yesterday and could not be happier. He was out here with 30 minutes on a Saturday and we were comfortable within an hour! Prompt and courteous service- I highly recommend.
After receiving an extremely fast response to a call on a Sunday, I was given a service call, which resulted in a tune-up of my home boiler. Alex was very cordial, efficient and knowledgeable. He did a very nice job of cleaning the burners and heat exchanger, adjusting some controls and testing the system before giving me some valuable information and recommendations. He then left the work area very clean and orderly. I will call them for service in the future.
Amazing Service!!!! The recommended the dehumidifier and pump and it is amazing!!! After years of burning through smaller dehumidifiers and having to dump out this water, the one they installed solved all my problems and is very quiet and efficient. The pump they installed takes care of the water, so no more wasting time throwing out water. Couldnt be anymore happier with the service that they provided. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
Burant has given us quality, customer care for years. Whenever we have had a furnace issue spring up, we are scheduled for service with priority and the issue is quickly addressed and repaired. They did it again! We called and in less than 24 hours, we had a technician evaluate what we reported, he addressed the minor issue and they contacted us to schedule our regular maintenance that we forgot about. The guys who did the maintenance visit were polite, courteous, knowledgeable and honest. So grateful to have found Burant!

Tyler Burant answered my daughters question at length at 11:00 p.m. our furnace wasnt working correctly and he had the patience to go over what to do several times until a quick fix was achieved. He also came out early the very next day to replace the broken part, he was only at the house for 15 minutes and was done. Thank you for the quick service you rock.

Came out on the coldest day of the year to install our new air conditioning unit, and do a furnace check. They were out side a lot. Very professional and did a great job.
This company is terrible! Don’t use it. I call them for estimate to repair my Air Conditioner. The technician remove the part and put it back incorrectly, so the AC stop working completely. This technician didn’t know what he is doing.
Was skeptical at first seeing some of the reviews on Google, but went ahead with their service and had central air installed. This was largely due to their pricing and availability at the time. I was not disappointed with my decision at all, and will be using them for any future work.
Todd, the owner and his entire crew are top notch! They are courteous, very respectful of our home ( and dogs) and diligent about getting the job/problem solved. Beware! Phone operator explained a $99 trip charge, $249 minimum. When the technician presented me with a bill for $354 for 15 minutes of work (around $80-100 more than I was expecting...), he explained Its $99 for the house change, $149 for a diagnostic, plus the repair. The diagnostic was never explained as being part of the $249 minimum. They mislead their customers to thinking the $249 minimum includes the house charge plus some repair time, when in fact it includes no repair time and a diagnostic (which, in my case, wasnt even needed since I told the technician exactly was the problem was). Also, I did not receive a receipt for the work. The guy who did the repair was very nice -- its not his fault he works for a dishonest company -- and the repair was done with quality.
Burant has serviced my gas boiler for years, but when I called for a tune up this year in fall, they pushed me off till November, then in November rescheduled me for January. I booked for an appointment between 9-11. I took off work so I can let them in. They called me up yesterday to confirm and said my appointment is more like 11 ish or maybe 1. That is not how to do business folks and I cant just move my work calendar around like that. I cancelled the appointment, called another HVAC contractor who will come tomorrow and for less. Last time I call Burant!!

High pressure sales/scare tactics (actually said hed have his family in a hotel if he was me, co2 concern even though i have several sensors on my main floor and purposely put another within 5 of furnace before he came until the issue was fixed). I had a furnace issue that was covered under an extended manufacturer warranty and I was strongly pushed towards replacing (both heat and ac unit, ac worked fine). If I chose the repair option all they cared about was selling me a recurring service plan. Wanted to run extra returns in my 12 year old home, even though balancing the temp in our home was not an issue we had. Called another local company that services/sells Carrier and got a great consult, no sales tactics, gave me my options and an honest opinion. That company will be my first call next time. And this wasnt just a poor sales person they sent, he had the same last name as the company.

Burant heating delivered for us on a very complex installation of a new boiler and boiler buddy. We live in a 1926 home that had several additions overtime that left us with a very inefficient heating system. That has been remedied. Workers show up when expected, are focused in their work, and address details to customer satisfaction.

We purchased a new furnace in 2016 its only been 2 and a 1/2 years and our thermostat has gone blank They tried to charge me a $171 for a new thermostat because I didnt sign up for their yearly maintenance they say I dont have a warranty, well I think a thermostat should last longer than 3 years, would never recommend them to anyone
