Good vibes. Relax and friendly coffee place. I donβt live in Berry Farms neighborhood so I was a little jealous at those who are because they could walk out of bed and walked to this place. π. Anyways, I ordered Homemade pop tart and a berry muffin for my boys. I had overnight oat π They were yummy. Iβm not a fan of oat meal but this was exceptional. I ordered Cappuccino and then followed with Matcha green tea. Their small cups are very small. So if you expect a StarBucks Tall size, you might be disappointed. Wish I had tried sandwiches but we had to leave. Next time Iβll sit outside and enjoy Fall air π₯°.
Coffee and Coconuts located on the Berry Farms area in Franklin, Tennessee offers a very unique gourmet coffee experience. Its a high end coffee shop, with a beach towel white theme. Whether its their own cold brew coffee, freshly made smoothies, or your daily coffee fix. You will be sure to find it here. Much like Berry Farms, its cozy and quiet. When you drop in, give Blake a shout out.
Ambiance is great, super cute and trendy. I was disappointed in their espresso. Ordered a latte and it really lacked flavor. Ive heard this same feedback from other people. Ill return to try their food and give their coffee another chance, but hope they can adjust their espresso because the space is really cute!
This place looks great, but neither the coffee or the food lived up to the aesthetics. The breakfast sandwich was alright, but lettuce on a breakfast sandwich is a weird choice. The avocado toast looks great but wasnβt made to be eaten, just to look good. Big chunks of feta, radish slices on one corner doesnβt taste great. AΓ§aΓ bowl was completely frozen in the center, and the overnight oats were just milk with oats. The espresso drinks werenβt worth drinking. The baked goods were pretty good, but thatβs about it.
Chill, relaxed, beachy vibe at this cute coffee shop. I love to hang out in the hanging chairs by the window, Sip coffee and talk to family and friends. There are some chairs outside as well for the warmer months. Parking is along the street ir there is plenty behind the back with a rear entrance you can enter.
Love this place! Great coffee and good baked goods as well. I recommend trying it if you havenβt.
The atmosphere is great but its all style and no substance. I didnt even drink my coffee and the acai bowl I had was half frozen. The muffin was good though.
Good visit, my friends enjoyed their drinks very much. My drink was room-temp (tea latte), but they were busy and I didnt want ask to have it fixed and drank it anyway. Will be back next time Im in the area.
Donβt be fooled by the quaint atmosphere. The employees just stare at you from behind the counter until you volunteer your order to them. At first I thought maybe I just went on an off day, but after going back a couple times I realized that is just the norm there. Iβve talked to others and theyβve all had the same experience. With the way the employees treat you, it feels like they should be paying you $6 to take their coffee.
Beautiful place, but slow workers who donβt care about the customer. Not only are they not welcoming but as others say, it feels like youβre doing them a favor to order. The other day we stood for 10 minutes waiting for our simple coffees watching the employee making them chatting it up with a girl sitting at the counter just lounging. When asking him if he had our order he rudely just acted as if we were impatient. Yet, there was no one else waiting. Iβve been at least 10 times and it gradually gets worse every time. Iβm done giving my business to them. Iβd rather drive out of my way even if this place is next door.
Employees not wearing masks during county mandate period through December 2020. Great service. Great style.
I rarely leave bad reviews but felt the management should know how bad the customer service was this morning at coffee and coconuts. Came in with my mom and waited at the cash register to order a coffee. No one was in line in front of us. There were 4 people behind the counter, made eye contact with Atleast 2 people. No one greeted us, smiled or acknowledged we were there. Waited about 3 -4 min to order, still nothing. We were so surprised, that we walked out and left.Unfortunately we will not be back to this establishment.
I love this place. Great people, great environment for meetings and causal hang outs! I love the all the food Ive had there! And of course the coffee is on point! Definitely recommend. Almost feels like youre on a vacation when youre there. Cool music playing at all times!
Love the attitude of this place! DJ is friendly and good at talking to strangers!
Such a cute place. Visiting from out of state and just wanted a coffee. Tried the honey and cinnamon latte. OMG it was so good. It was beautifully decorated. But clean and white. Totally Instagram worthy posts taking place here.
Really cute coffee shop with awesome menu items, but shop is small and we couldnβt find a place to sit. I spent $20 on 3 very average coffees, and prices werenβt listed. The baristas were young and seemed very overwhelmed. Wanted to love it but didnβt have the best experience! :(
Iβm staying in Franklin for the next couple weeks while filming a music video so Iβve been searching for the best coffee in the area.. After asking around and trying a couple of spots I ended up at Coffee and Coconuts.. The vibe and decor of this place sold me instantly.. Itβs very relaxed and welcoming with a nice layout.. A communal table up front along with a few smaller tables to sit and get some work done, and some larger tables in the back perfect for an intimate meeting.. Free WiFi is always a plus.. The staff was awesome!! Very friendly and helpful, with a skill for crafting fine cups of coffee.. Their fresh baked pastries and snacks look and taste delicious.. I had a croissant with a latte and they were both perfect!! If youβre south of Nashville looking for a great cup of coffee definitely give Coffee and Coconuts a try..
Great selection of all coffee drinks, hot and cold. Healthy breakfast and lunch meal options. Cant wait to visit again! ππ
I really wanted to love this place because it is a really cute place, but both times I have been there we felt very unwelcome by the employees. We were definitely never greeted both times. The girl who took our order the last time acted like she was doing us a favor, she was not friendly at all. If this place had more caring employees, it would be the perfect little coffee shop.
People I know in Franklin have had similar experiences with rude employees at this location, and have thankfully shared they will never be returning. I went to Whits yesterday and there werenβt any tables available so my friend and I went over to sit on the tables in front of Coffee and Coconuts, well bad idea. Everything was fine until about 10 minutes in this employee I kid you not literally came up to the table we were sitting at, picked it up, and dragged it away from us to βclean the ice cream because we were not allowed to get it dirtyβ. Did not even say a word to us until he had already taken the table away from us. Would have been fine if he approached us in a friendly manner asking us to clean up after but he blatantly physically took it away from us. And we were going to clean up and to be honest there was only a small drop of ice cream. I do NOT and will NOT ever recommend this place. People who have visited the inside have told me they never felt welcome. Donβt come here
I tried Coffee and Coconuts once last year after moving to the area and was not impressed by their chai latte. However, today I decided to drop in a give them another try and Iβm so glad I did! The establishment itself is cutely decorated and the staff was very friendly and todayβs latte was out of this world. Iβll definitely be stopping by regularly from now on.
This place has it all - great coffee and food, friendly personable staff & ownership, and an unmatched ambiance you wont find anywhere else. Its great to work from as well! You will make great friends here that are regulars.
Would never go back!!. We walk in no greeting nothing. Sat at the bar and literally ignored by three employees standing there for 10 minutes. I actually had to get up and walk to the register to To place a coffee order. Not friendly atmosphere at all. We decided this weekend to go to frothy monkey. It Was very nice and great atmosphere. The only way I can see good reviews for Coffee and Coconuts is either People that donβt get out much or just trying to promote their Berry Farms Community because there is nothing special it. Donβt waste your time go someplace that appreciates the business.
Lovely atmosphere. That alone would keep me coming back BUT the coffee is specialty! Best espresso Ive ever had! AND the food is way better than youd expect. They show their organic ingredients on shelves. Amazing little local shop.
I had the pleasure of stopping in here last week......Jolene, Christina & Emily were great......the cold brew coffee was superb.....and I highly recommend trying their home made goods as well....I will definitely be back the next time I am near Berry Farms!
Yummy smoothies and a nifty environment. The bathroom was awesome--flamigos galore.
Small-ish cozy space and a tasty almond croissant. Not a lot of room to social distance and staff does not wear masks. Hip/trendy New-Nashville vibe
This is a beautiful clean coffee shop (and restaurant)! Such a relaxing upbeat atmosphere. I love walking in there. :) There are many friendly smiles to greet you and the tea, pastries, and menu options are delicious! I love Coffee and Coconuts. I will go back often!
If you know Cheers, then you know. Coffee and Coconuts makes a smooth Caffe Breve Latte. One of my favorites.
The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. The environment is cozy and well-kept.The coffee is phenomenal, and even if youre not a coffee drinker there are plenty of other drinks on the menu for you.The food is tasty and fresh with multiple gluten-free options. There is something for everyone at Coffee & Coconuts!
Really cute place and good coffee but the employees do not wear masks. Seems pretty careless as business owners to not make employees wear mask. Would rather support more responsible local business owners. Also they have hand written bill of rights on the wall which is very bizarre and doesnt seem to go with the theme or decor. Im guessing the owners are anti-masks by writing all those rights on the wall.
Great local spot, kind, comfortable for work, and yes they support freedom.
Employees donβt wear masks and donβt encourage customers to wear them either. Used to love this place any time I visited home. Local businesses need love and support right now...but your support for this one can wait until they start showing that they care about you and your safety.
This shop was adorable. The coffee selection was great. The only thing I think would do this business well would be more of a dining area for sitting. They seemed to have a good customer base. I absolutely loved the wall paper in the bathrooms!!
Amazing service!! The Coco Mac is by far the best thing Iβve ever dreamed of in a cup!!
5 stars for not bowing to the mask hole communists and allowing customers to make their own health decisions.
I used to love it... quality has gone down a ton. Also employees donβt wear masks. Big issue. No social distancing due to covid. Also employees seem to not care whatsoever about the pandemic and they arenβt wearing gloves when preparing food. I work in the food business and this is not how to do it. Please be better and get some nicer employees, lady who helped me today was super rude and unhelpful
Coffee and Coconuts provides a warm atmosphere during a difficult time! Our food was delicious, and coffee was made quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful when I didnβt know what to order. Will be back!
The cutest environment and the best iced latte!!!
I can NOT say enough good things about this place!!! This was, by far, one of the BEST experiences I have ever had at a coffee place!! The staff was super friendly and the coffee was DEVINE!! I would recommend the cappuccino with white mocha and vanilla bourbon. The location was super nice and convenient for short little strolls and the shop itself was SO cute and inviting!! I LOVE it!! The next time we are in TN, Franklin or not, we will be making a trip here!!
No masks worn by any employees and no signs asking guests to wear them. No social distancing practiced by anyone in the store. We were excited to try out a local business close to our new home, but wonβt support one that has such little regard for its employees and customers.
Delicious coffee & food served with a smile! The staff genuinely care about the shop, the customers, and the craft. Hands down the best cafe Iβve ever been to!
5 stars for an excellent smooth latte. Must agree with the other reviews, the young staff was nice enough but their customer service training must be zero. Never a thank you or even have a great day as we were leaving. Great vibe, just needs some fine tuning & No one was wearing masks, staff or customers.
Tasty coffee . Thanks
Absolutely love Coffee and Coconuts. The management is awesome and the vibe is great! Also, I just ran a speed test and the wifi speed is serious business @ over 300MB download!
Really clean and Kaetlyn is always great to see. The bourbon coffee drink she made was perfect. Cool, young vibe. Family photos on the wall. Everyone seemed chill. Cool barista uniforms too.
Such a cute little coffee shop to catch up with friends at and take pics. I always look forward to visiting when I come home from college! The coffee and pastries are amazing and I definitely recommend it here!
Excellent espresso. Syrup is made in house with real sugar. They have great acai bowls, avocado toast. All in all a very ambitious establishment that manages to pull it off.
A bit pricey but beverages and food are very good. Service is good.
Love everything about this place! The workers are friendly and I loved the avo toast I got along with the best vanilla latte Iβve ever had.
Super cute decor. Not friendly. AT ALL in fact Id say rude. Drinks were good one we finally got them.
Great atmosphere - open, light, very clean. Wonderful service and great place to grab coffee where they are friendly and you wont wait in line forever!
So sad! Not waring mask while talking to clients Or prepping food. The workers here donβt take Covid seriously. Restaurant workers are being impacted heavy financially. But itβs because of this kind of negligence. Waring a mask around your neck helps no one. Sad I really love this place and supporting local biz
A joke of a business, youβre better off with McDonaldβs 3 min down the road
A nice little and comfy coffee house. A very welcome break from the large commercial that is exactly the blah blah same everywhere. They coffee and coconuts get a star plus for and decor!!I had a latte... acceptablePersoanlity of the staff ..Well they lost a star on that one.( I like a warm smile to go with the otherwise warm and cozy environment they have here )If this helps you. Give me a loke or thumbs upBe safe
Spend 4 days in TN. Got a coffee every day. Service was excellent and pleasant environment. They really know how to make a coffee, temperature and taste is just perfect on that latte I got. THANK YOU
I loved this coffee shop! So aesthetic. The best lattes in Franklin. I will definitely come back soon!
People crammed in shoulder to shoulder. Not a single mask in the place. Ordered coffee and a guy who was sitting at the bar on his laptop, got up, walked around the bar and made our coffee. No hand washing etc.. We were super dissapointed. The interior is beautiful if you can see through the 40 people crammed into a space the size of a large living room..
I asked if seating was open at the bar and was told yes. Waited 5 minutes to order. Another customer walked in ordered at the desk. I asked if I had to order at the front desk and was told yes. Would have been nice for her to tell me as I sat at the bar and watched her make an iced coffee directly in front of me. Ordered and then waited over 30 minutes for one salad and 2 paninis at 1pm. We were the only customers waiting. There is one employee dedicated to what it seems are catering orders? The other female works alone to handle everything else at a very slow meticulous pace. Food was delivered with no napkin, no utensils. I guess they wanted me to grab a fork from a community jar? Um, no thanks. I had to ask for a plastic one. No one greets you. No extra words are spoken to you. No one asks if the food is good. If you have a few hours to spend just hanging out, this is your place. I do not.
Great coffee and atmosphere. Friendly service, just what we were looking for.
This place knows how to make coffee, and its delicious!
Great atmosphere and good service.
It closes before 6:30 on Saturdays.
It was really pricey but the chai was good
The cutest coffee shop, the nicest people, and the best coffee! The decor is super cute, fun, and welcoming! I got the pour over coffee and it was really well made and the staff was efficient and personable! I will definitely be coming back and I recommend everyone stop by this cute Franklin gem!
Customer service was excellent. everyone was kind, greeted me when I came in and as I left. The matcha lemonade is the best drink iβve ever tasted- perfectly balanced. the vibe is immaculate and they were wearing masks!
Overpriced, and employees do not we are masks. Obviously do not care for the safety of their customers, so Iβm sure they are not using quality ingredients. I also got food poisoning from bad milk here in early February. Never will go to again.
Nice selection of coffeeβs and teaβs. I like the fact that they have created a info board that explains different types of coffee. AΓ§aΓ bowl is delicious as well as their pastries. The staff is friendly and helpful. We take our daughter here and she enjoys the food and toys they leave out, so Iβm glad this establishment is kid friendly.
Cute place very expensive for drinks I could go to starbucks for same price very slow workers even though they are never busy
The Coco Mac was excellent! Service was pleasant and speedy. Great vibes. Good music.
Really a great place.
Super annoying customer service
Very friendly staff, cool cold brew set up.
The employees were not friendly and they did wear masks during a pandemic with a city and county mask mandate. The muffin was dry and didnβt have much flavor, they do not have a good variety of caffeine free tea, and they were slow to make the drinks.
Great atmosphere
Love the coffee and aesthetic of the shop; however, leaving one star because staff and owner really need to work on attitude towards customers. I have come here many times and every time is worse than the last. From being ignored while ordering, even the owner being rude and not listening to me while ordering and even taking a phone call while I was still speaking. Iβm sorry I wish this all wasnβt true but something needs to change in order to be a successful small business, customer service is key. I have never come in and not been eye-rolled at by the baristas. This all saddens me because otherwise this would be an awesome place, just not a welcoming environment at all :(((
Took about 30 mins to get a coffee, so donβt be in a rushNot necessarily a lot of organic, clean options- most of their items are From CostcoNot necessarily the most friendly - but werenβt excessively unfriendly. No workers wore masks, nor gloves, and wasnβt the most clean environmentCoffee was average. The shop filled up quickly after I placed my order, so this could have been an atypical engagement.
No staff member was following mask mandate, and people sitting at the bar were not social distanced. Cashier/barista was not warm or friendly. I guess my one star can be for the eco-friendly paper straw!
I love the coffee +the food. menu is limited but food is good. Grilled cheese w avocado +tomato is my regular. You meet interesting ppl there too. Very comfortable atmosphere.
The decor of the building is so beautiful, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about whatβs on their menu and the food is delicious. However parking here is slim and the coffee is just okay. Iβd come back for the food but not the coffee. Overall Iβd say itβs worth a visit at least once
Great coffee! Love the ice cubes! Cool atmosphere! Only thing that would give it a 5th star is better prices. I came from San Diego so I recognize overpriced from a mile away.
Cute set up and good coffee!
Great atmosphere! Warm and friendly associates. Didnt really get coffee but met a friend there to catch up! Ill write another post once Ive tried their coffee
Used to love this spot but customer service is lacking. From eye rolls when asking about food ordered 15 min prior that just needs to be heated up to the flip of the computer monitor with the expectation that you add a tip even though youβve barely been greeted. Thereβs not a lot about the customer experience that keeps me wanting to come back for a $4 latte.Huge loss that the nice guy who used to work there is no longer there. He was so nice, always friendly.Iβve been in dozens of times and seen another lady in there consistently who has never spoken a word to me or my family, greeted us or even acknowledged that maybe sheβs seen us before. Maybe Iβm expecting too much as a repeat customer? Not the neighborhood feel I was hoping for and customer service could use major tweaking. On the up side the pastries are good.
Today was the last time Ill go. Even though its the closest coffee shop, its more expensive than Starbucks and the barista basically ignored me. I wouldnt mind if that were his vibe, but he was chatting it up with the other two people in the store. Ive been in there maybe 8 times now? Its always the same. Just dont feel welcome at all. I think what tipped me over today is when I asked for whipped cream (which is a 50/50 chance they remember) there was no room, a thin line of whip around the top, and coffee spilling out of everywhere. And the quiche tasted like soap.
