This place used to be a nice truck stop years ago, but not anymore. The parking lot during the night is full with 18 wheelers or bobtails and hardly find an empty spot. During the day poolers are leaving their vehicles here. The fuel for some reason is always more expensive than other gas stations, usually about 50 cents above average, as well as almost everything they sell inside the store. If youre willing to take a shower, prepare to pay $14 for it! Its funny, in some places I saw motel rooms for 30 bucks, where you can take as many showers as you want, rest for a while, etc, etc. The restaurant seems to be history. Other than that, no complain. The store, as well as the restrooms, are clean, the staff is very respectful to its customers.
First time stopping at this truck stop and I’ll definitely be back. The guy that waited on me Seth he was friendly and polite. He also has a really cute smile 😏 sucks I was to chicken to ask for his number 😞
Lots of truck parking. Great showers. Sadly the restaurant is closed indefinately
More than hath truck stop parking is reserved parking. very bed service in shop, highly recommended not to go in this shop. I asked them to put my used michilline tire directional to drive axle and they mounted it wrong way. I ask them to remoubting it. they recounting it but they charged me for two mounting, the reason they charged me twice because they make work twice and they think steer tires directional matter only on steer position and they not care that I was asked to mounting it directional. Also they tereble slow, three mounting they doing three hours.
Came here for warranty redo of an outer hub seal originally done at another location. The tech, Dray Pate, took his time and did a fine job even though he was alone and there was more trucks lined up waiting for him.
Bridgett is amazing... Really good place.
Basic TA, needs remodeling, good selection, and Great staff
The place has a very complex parking lot especially with a diesel pumps there all the way to the end and then you got to go way all the way back to the entrance to actually get out that is not a plus I like the fact that there is a lot of parking but its like all over the place slightly hard to get the angle correctly inside the place is not too big I do like that inside theres a Country Pride and overall I do recommend this place for a long stay. I gave this place three stars just because they should have made a better way of Distributing the parking lot or at least make a second exit or an entrance to this place and if there is I still havent found it yet.
Unfortunately this is another TA that decided that a restaurant was not necessary as they permanently closed it in January 2021. It has become another place to fuel and go. Never again will I step foot into this fueling location. I wish TA would realize that a truck stop is a place with a restaurant not a hotdog roller.Stay away this is not a truck stop it is a fuel station.
We stopped at this TA in Franklin, TN for the night, on 7-1-2021. The morning of 7-2-2021, we went inside to get a shower. We are a husband and wife married couple and have always asked for the handicap shower because they are bigger, have grab bars in the stall, and usually a seat outside the stall in the room itself. I (the wife) am handicap. I need the grab bars and the seat outside the stall at a bare minimum. We also need a bigger room and stall because we are two people taking a shower together. The Blonde Princess this morning refused to give us a handicap shower because she said I was not handicap, that she saw me walk up the stairs. Well, where are all the showers ? As far as I know, theyre all up stairs. I looked around down stairs and didnt see anywhere a shower or showers could be. I asked to speak to the manager. When she finally came down, she asked if we wanted a handicap shower so we didnt have to pay for two showers ? Why would we pay for two showers ?! We have never paid for two showers in the five years weve been out here on the road together. I told her Im handicap and needed the grab bars. She told me to calm down, and anyone who knows me knows thats the last thing you should say to me when Im upset over being treated like this! Who are they to judge who is handicap or not ? For all they knew, my husband could have been the one who was handicap because he was still downstairs. This is total bs! And we will never stop at this TA again, never give them fuel money, parking money, c-store money. They dont even have a restaurant anymore. Its permanently closed, probably due to COVID and no one wanting to work anymore.
My family was traveling through due to a funeral, so we decided to stop here for gas and drinks. We walked in got our drinks, went to the register. The cashier was very distracted and rude, didn’t even notice me in front of her. So I waited until she stopped talking. She started to ring up our 3 items. The machine was acting odd, said my payment was approved when I didn’t even enter my card? Then it said “wait for cashier” so she clicked some buttons and the arrows finally light up blue. I then slid my card and it was then saying approved again. I did not want a recipe, so my family walked out. Then I get a text from my bank saying I spent $30 on 3 whole items... the cashier said my total was $9.90. We attempted to call, and they said there was NO physical way of refunding the money (we are on our way out of state and can’t just make a u-turn in the middle of the interstate). The transaction you messed up? You were distracted and then tried saying I was the problem?. We even said on the phone “well this ruined our day” and you said “YOURE WELCOME”. Who says that? Shyla I hope you get some better training because you don’t know what’s going on in someone’s life, we just left a funeral and you were unprofessional and so rude to us.
The restaurant is permanently closed. Cold sandwiches, and hot pizza, other hot food available.
I’d give no stars if I had the choice! Was my first time at this TA, wanted to stop and shower before I kept driving, had the coldest shower ever, talked to one of the cashiers named Paige to see if I can get my money back and she gave me the biggest attitude and said she couldn’t help me that I had to come back the next day to talk to the manager Dennis, I said I will be on the road but I will give him a call. Very poor customer service!!
No restaurant, one towel in the shower, no shower mat, no wash clothe, and hot water in the sink. Say it with me “SHITHOLE”.
2-17-21 told by general store/gas station personnel that the restaurant here is closed PERMANENTLY!ETA: was going to do a reset here, 11-7 and 11-8-21, but with no restaurant, I’m choosing to go elsewhere.
They charged me $6.59+tax for 3 dried up rubber tasting chicken tenders and they were everything but tender.
Great service, quick to help. Decent pricing. Will continue to use them when needed...
Got fuel and ordered dinner to go. Got the Chopped steak dinner. The steak and gravy was great but the mashed potatoes arent so good. They taste to generic. Ive noticed they use the same potatoes at all TA and Petros. I like TA and Petro but they need to definitely get some better potatoes.
Rudely unprofessional I was on the side of the interstate needing a valve stem change waited 55 minutes for their roadside to arrive at 10:30pm they close at 11 the driver arrived without the proper tools and left to go back to the shop and get them I got a call 20 minutes later that they were not authorized to work on my truck ( too small) funny thing is they worked on it 3 months earlier for a flat on the same interstate. Guess TA just wanted to get off work on time forget the family on the side of the road, hopefully no one needs help from them since they are only concerned for themselves. Rudest dispatch girl ever!
We arrived on 2/12/21. I purchased reserved parking everyday, as I was in a spot, and expecting inclement weather. No, I never went and got the reciept, as the app, the email, and the website dont say its necessary. This was never an issue the 12th, 13th, or 14th. Noone ever bothered us. Yet, the day the roads are bad, there is ice everywhere, and the state is pretty much shut down, NOW its an issue, and you BANG on my truck repeatedly... heres the thing, you can print out a list of WHO paid for parking, just like EVERY other TA/PETRO. Or, you can walk the reciepts out to the drivers, like the email states.Seems to me, like the only time you cared about the spots, was the day your service shop CLOSED due to the weather. Better make sure that $20 a truck is there, RIGHT!?GREED!
Didnt have much parking for Semi trucks...but finally did park. Had very Clean restrooms. Had dinner at the Country Pride. Very nice service Brittney, Amazing cook.Anthony...very. Very clean restaurant.....10 star. Will be back if in this area again
LOVE the TA ! Good food, good value. Consistency is key. Always a happy face serving us. We eat here often
Paid parking means someone is to check parking to make sure that only people that pay park in these spots, not show up and have to argue with them
This TA was truly a diamond in the rough. I’m a 68 year old West Coast driver that seldom goes east of I35. Although most of the parking was paid, I found that it included great food, fantastic service and clean showers. However, I think the crowning jewels were the employees. Led by an effervescent waitress named Sheena, each and every encounter was a pleasurable experience.
Great service! I parked in a free spot. The woman at the counter with the short black hair was very kind and helpful. The showers were well maintained and had little peppermint. The server at Country Pride with short blonde hair (female) needs to train others throughout America. She has the perfect personality for her position. She was the only person working and she was very courteous and prompt. She asked everyone if they enjoyed their meals. Shes exactly the type of person truck drivers need to encounter when theyve are tired from driving all day. She earned a great tip!
The guys working the overnight were very accommodating, showed me around and the shower felt amazing after not being able to take one for a few days...so thank you very much! I feel much better after that amazing shower
Always clean both inside and outside. Bathrooms & showers clean. Parking Lot pretty full. Recommend to call in advance anything after 3pm. Roller wheel food always stocked. Good selection on food. Not so good selection on healthy food. Cashiers always friendly smiling and helpful! Overall great experience
Good place for a shower friendly staff downfall is all pay parking spaces..
More reserved parking spots then regular parking spots its a shame when we spend so much in fuel, food and necessities to have to pay to park and charge 1.68 for a refill of coffee in my own coffee cup. On a friendly note the country pride was great. Good food and awesome service from our waitress named Cindy she makes an awesome pot of coffee.
The two women at the service desk wonderful
Lady behind the counter was the rudest person I have ever seen interact with customers.
My visit to this location at the end of a 8 hour day. Food came out in only 10 minutes from ordering. Cant say that i saw smth awesome but I think Ill be back.
Good size parking lot, nice showers, but store area feels a bit cramped with the layout. Still a great place to rest up
Great place for breakfast and coffee. The waitress was the old fashioned kind that works hard and delivers good customer service. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. The cook deserved a tip.
Clean and organized. Nice employees willing to help. Decent prices and selection. Clean bathrooms.
This is for the restaurant only, Ill be glad to see you all lose your job and go into unemployment. Why would anyone that cannot chew toast, and ask for salsa for the hash browns, grill biscuits so hard that they physically cannot be eat. You tried to cut and they will not cut they break instead. I formed the waitress that I cannot eat toast ask for biscuits paid extra for the gravy.I hope they lose their restaurant here and go to fast food. At least those people can cook and listen and care about their customers.. by the way this will go into the Stars and stripes I am retired military. I will give corporate the choice, remove the restaurant and people or be sued for damaging my gums. Ive been going to my medical VA 4 proof. My gums are bleeding., Corporate you need to change your rules biscuits do not need to be grilled, they should be able to be open by hand if its fresh. If youre grilling then I believe your biscuits are old. Either way will find out...
EZ on & off I-65. Lots of truck parking. Restaurant has decent food & good service. Clean restrooms. Good place for a break from driving.
Way too much reserved parking. Need more loyal customer parking. TA is getting more and more unfriendly to truckers. Remember who made you a success. (Hint, it was truckers.)
I gave a 2nd star for nostalgic reasons. I remembered staying here when it was a union 76 truck stop back in the late 90s. It is a functional dinosaur of a truck stop but not much more. The staff was friendly and nice.
I got here about 9:30. Me and my girlfriend were the only customers. Well we ordered our food she got the chopped steak dinner i got the soup and salad bar no soup and they were already breaking the salad bar down .service from the waitress was very good. The chopped steak was greasy french fries were not hot or warm. No gravy for the chopped steak, and worst of all no Sweet tea ...i wont be back anytime soon.
This is a truck stop... They only have two pumps for gasoline for cars. The rest is for trucks. It can get very congested in the evening when many truckers pull off the road to sleep. They do have a restaurant attached and I think there are some rooms available.
I will stop there for a cup of coffee refill my vehicle and assist with the installation of an RFID wireless access system. The staff members for very pleasant. Management was a pleasure to work with. BTW the coffee was pretty good :-)
I used the truck wash to get the 40 ft fifth wheel RV and pickup truck cleaned of the road salt from bad winter roads and they went out of their way to do an outstanding job. After fueling up, went in to have lunch at the iron skillet restaurant and their buffet was outstanding! The rest rooms were spotless and the staff were very helpful and friendly both in the restaurant and the store.
Ive had more bad meals here than good ones. Breakfast seems to be the best time to ear here. Salad bar looks iffy as well half the time.
Stopped for gas and to potty. They have a lot of different things to look at while you are taking a break from the road. Handicap accessible, fairly well kept clean. Ive certainly seen worse. Oh, they also have games to entertain the youngins while you do your thing.
An acquaintance of the cook ordered after me and his food was cooked and served first while my burger sat burning on the grill...came out black dry and clearly overdone and the bun wasnt even toasted. Thats a fail and I wont be back.
This TA is smaller and older. Frankly it was the best TA experience I have had all year. Exceptionally clean first off. I have ordered 5 meals from the resteraunt at various TAs over the past few months. All of those meals considering food quality, portion and value for the money were very poor and beyond disappointing. This TA was a shining star in this fading trucker geared truck stop industry. The meal was perfect in quality and portion. The cook took great care with my detailed order. This TA makes me believe there is hope yet. Friendly waitress AND I just couldnt believe as I went upstairs for laundry the complete lack of dust . Just an all around breath of fresh air literally.
Good stopover. Plenty of car (expedite) parking.Has Country Pride. Places to walk nearby.
Restaurant said they were open til 9. 841 sign said closed and would serve. So much for caring about truckers!!!!!!!
They have salads.
Normally, Id rate it a 3, as theres nothing special about the place, but it is is so well maintained and cared for that its a nice place to stop. Well done!
Got a PM done on truck and it was faster than last time I had it done there. I had time to burn so I ate dinner but my hamburger steak wasnt cooked med like I ordered but the waitress gave me a discount because I didnt eat it.
People were very nice.parking? Not so much. seemed like more pay than regular, they are blindside. Dont tell nobody,I parked on end of pay row that was marked off. Nobody bothered me got a 10 hour reset.
Still a very good ta its small it fills up fast but great employees great attitudes very clean upstairs you know its an old 76 two showers are older and smaller but theyre clean TV rooms nice DirecTV bathrooms are always clean this is just a good little ta..I have separate reviews for The Country Pride restaurant its one of the better country prides to they take great pride in its smallness. They still do a fantastic job
Not the friendliest bunch not cleanest on my visit today seems like no one wants to be there working I don’t recommend this ta I was not impressed at all
I stopped by around 2 AM and it was Me and another Customer. The other Customer had to go to the Restroom while the Cashier Rung Him Up and I had to wait 5 Minutes just to be checked out. I am a full Time Care Giver for my Mom and each moment away from Home and Her being by herself something could have happened. The Cashier should have voided the other sale and rung me up instead of making me wait. Another thing is that the Cashier didnt even say I am sorry for your wait. I probably would never stop here again not even to get gas.
Good experience here... Bathrooms are like every other TA, clean and functional (good thing) Stopped for breakfast, I ordered the sausage skillet minus the cheese and gravy on the side. All was tasty, actually enjoyed mine and not to greasy! Our server Aimee was friendly and great with the coffee refills plus one can never go wrong with a coffee thermos refill for free (when ordering a breakfast) Thanks Bobbie - All around great place. Only concern was length of time waiting for food. Otherwise great job!
I travel frequently to my hometown in Kentucky from North Alabama. I ALWAYS stop at this TA on my way to and from Kentucky. The restrooms are always clean, there are plenty of food options, and they have good quality gas. The employees are not always friendly, but its a great place otherwise!
Ive been going here for years. I know the people there and the food is great.
Nice break from a long drive. Small store with a lot of things to browse thru. Large rest area style parking lot to take a break and have a snack! I have not had a sit down meal here but, there is an attached restaurant that looks pretty good too.
Tight parking. Fuel island tight to get into with everyone parked all over the place. Also stopped for a small part at service. Friendly. Helpful. On my way in minutes.
Generally clean and well-stocked. Everything from snacks to drinks to cell phone accessories to CDL needs. Showers are pretty standard, but well-maintained. Prices are a bit high (but they know there isnt much else for a few exits) and the clerks are pleasant but a tad familiar. No military discount.
Nice find. The restaurant inside the truck stop is a hidden treasure great food wonderful service. And a salad bar that can rival some of your best salad bars around.
Lot was full but I was allowed to park along the edge. Very friendly and accommodating lady at the fuel desk. Great end to a long day. Thank you.
Got fuel and was quick in and out. Restrooms were clean. Hotdog area was clean and employees were friendly and professional.
I think its a shame that majority of there lot now is reserved parking . As much money as us drivers and companies spend in fuel food etc.... That big chain stores gotta take more of our hard earned money out of our pockets will not be stepping foot into a ta anymore.
Ate there food was a little high but was pretty decent
000000000 alll Ta will get 0 they know why
Cleanest bathrooms and best snacks we have found all day, thank you. We did not try the restaurant. In and out super fast.
Small better get there early of your a trucker
Might be great for trucks but not for cars! So fee pumps and terrible setup for in and out. Glad all we needed was the bathroom after we filled up!
0 stars worst ever 5 hes to change tire on trailer an they were not busy
The food was amazing. We had purchased one if their little TV/DVD combos a couple of months back and there was an issue with the remote. James, the general manager was amazing and very kind. He made sure the issue was resolved right away. Thank you so very much James for going above and beyond.
Pretty good went an ate country pride waitress was friendly and then went to store an clerk was friendly
Gas prices in the area are way too high for the area. The average is $2.35, they charge $2.69. Way too much, I would recommend passing this one by.
Drive down the street to access the Car entrance. There are a few signs, but the car entrance is considerably farther away than the truck entrance so its easy to confuse. The gas is reasonably priced. Gas pumps were standard. The parking lot needed cleaning. It was littered in places.
Pretty small truck stop for TA. However the guy whos in charge of showers working great and u get a shower pretty fast.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Store and grounds clean. But come on, 18 dollars for overnight parking leaving at 5 AM. A bit high as far as Im concerned. Im sure youre going broke, so lets take even more from the drivers. Absolutely pitiful. Sometimes I wish I was a greedy SOB, but I just cant see it. Food, fuel, showers, truck repairs, etc., etc., etc. Im pretty sure we pay more than enough already.
Truck stops arent what they use to be. Like a mini mall for the trucker & traveler.I drove OTR fir years & now a snowbird. These gps logbooks are making it hard on truckers & us RVers have to consider that when getting off road for the night!
I was greeted upon entering the store. The restroom was clean.
In the restuarant attached to this TA, they wanted $2.75 to fill my to-go cup. The attendant in the TA generously said Happy New Year. Enjoy your refill on me.
You can Never go wrong with a TA truck stop. If you have to wait Im line for the shop.. Do It.!!!.
Clean and easy access...wide variety of snacks, too.
Fuel desk folks are awesome. Restaurant is good too.
We had somewhat of an emergency tire problem on our trip back to WI to FL. We ended up having a faulty tire because of the heat and it caused the tire to split. The guys at the truck service shop were kind enough to borrow me their car jack so I could change out my tire. Thanks for making my long trip with my family of 6 go well even in this emergency situation.
Its like coming home..its the best place to park in the area. The showers are always clean..the washers and dryers work great..and the food is the best....
Stalls in the mens room are about the size of a postage stamp... they were very clean however. Waitresses in restaurant were great!
The bathrooms were clean and its a good place to get snacks while getting fuel.
I dont review Truckstops, but this TA is awesome. The older white lady at the kiosk is very very good person. I couldnt get any parking paid or not. Everywhere was full. & she saw me called me and she took me an empty parking spot only the TA staff know it. Its at the back just infron of the restaurant. I was having long day that day. I ll never forget her kind face. Thank You
Excellent hamburger and fries. Good service
Truck stop. Kinda rough. Not steal your wallet rough just more of a feeling that you get, especially at night. But, it is getting better Ill say that.
One star for the poor maintenance of the showers. Couldn’t even be bothered to clean the sink after the person before me. Who knows what else was looked over. Disgusting.
Busy place for quick food with clean restrooms.
Very friendly people my shower was awesome I had the handicap shower it Actually was big enough and was very clean well maintained the water was hot and pressure good
