Weve been with Next Step for 7 years now, and always loved it. From toddler Mommy & Me classes to now having one child in Jr. Company (and another in jazz/tap/ballet) - the dance instruction has always been excellent and fun. Its clear the staff cares for the students, and has a high standard for the instruction, the studio environment and what they want each student to take away from class. Our kids are learning discipline, responsibility, confidence and teamwork, not just dance. Additionally, the studio has handled the Covid situation with care and grace and maintained strict procedures for safety that we greatly appreciate.

My daughter has been taking lessons at NSDS for 4+ years and we have had a great experience. She loves Ms. Terri and has had wonderful teachers! We started at only 18 months old with a Mommy & Me class and I think they do a great job at keeping class fun and interesting for the littlest dancers!

My (3 year old) daughter started taking dance classes this September. We were both so warmly welcomed by the Next Step staff and I was impressed by all of the covid safety precautions they have in place! My daughter asks me every day if its dance class day because she loves going to Next Step so much! Highly recommend!

We went to a Sparkle Day sample class with story time in the summer, and my daughter instantly was interested in the classes. She loves the ballet/tap combo and I see her practicing her tap steps often. Staff is friendly and helpful whenever we have questions. With COVID, it is nice to see temps are taken at the door and my daughter wears her mask on her own, but also has enough room in a small class to be socially distant.

Our daughter loves Next Step!She has been going since the mommy and me class and is now in ballet and tap! This has truly helped her come out of her shell, be more comfortable and confident around kids and adults and follow instruction. She has found a passion for ballet and I love watching her light up when it’s class day!

My daughter tried out a free class and loved it so we decided to start classes this fall and she loves it! She looks forward to going every week. They do an amazing job keeping up with safety procedures during COVID. Definitely recommend.

My daughter is in her second year with Next Step. I was looking for something fun for her to do since she did not attend daycare or pre k. This was a perfect fit! She enjoys learning new dance moves and holiday theme dances. Due to covid most of her second half was virtual but the staff did an amazing job keeping her engaged. She is thrilled to be back in the studio this fall with all the friendly faces. Highly recommend!

Best Dance Studio. The friendless of the staff was what initially stood out to me. We are now on year 2 and my daughter loves it, it’s the highlight of her week and she looks forward to seeing her friends and teachers. Thank you Next Step!

I have been dancing here since I was 4, I am 12 now and still being challenged, having fun and making new friends. The teachers are amazing and Ms.Amanda has pushed me to be all I can be and has encouraged me to keep leveling up. They certainly make you feel like home.

My daughter has been dancing here since she was about 3 years old. She has taken everything from summer fun classes to more intensive competitive dance classes in every style they offer. She has loved dance more each year that she has been there and she continues to grow in both her skills and her confidence. Ms. Terri and her staff do a great job making each year a quality experience for the dancers, pushing them to do their best while making the studio feel like a second home to them. I am also really impressed with how they have kept the students dancing throughout quarantine and COVID -19 restrictions. Between virtual instruction offered in shut down and the efforts they have put forth to make the studio a sanitary and safe environment, I have felt like my childs health and safety is top priority. A random bonus as a parent with kids in multiple activities is that the staff has been excellent at making sure my daughters shoes are fitted to fit her for an entire year. In nearly a decade, I have never had to buy more than one pair of shoes in a year for each type of dance. We love NSDS!

If you are looking for an opportunity to have your daughter or son to learn the art of dance and make friends in the process then Next Step Dance Studio is for you. My daughter is in her 11th year and has received such great technical instruction in ballet that she was able to compete and earn a place in an international ballet competition. In addition to the foundation of ballet, other genres such as contemporary, lyrical, tap and hip-hop are available and whether you like to dance in a group or as a soloist in whatever disciplines, the support you receive here to learn and grow with dance is just awesome.

My daughters danced here for 15 years. Now my granddaughter is attending. Cant say enough great things about this family oriented quality studio.

We held a ballerina dance party for my daughter here. Everything was top notch: the facility is clean and bright, they did a nice job with decorations, and the staff was fantastic. Terry and her assistant took great care of us, showed genuine interest in my daughter and provided her and her friends with a terrific time. Ill definitely recommend to friends and family.

I have been dancing here for the past three years. I have had so much fun and have learned alot. Its definitely a good studio to go to if you havent been dancing since you could walk as the teachers are very understanding.

Child missed group photos because we came and were told to come back at later time. We came back at later time (early) and were told we missed it because it was at yet a DIFFERENT time. So upset that we pay so much money for this damn class and the staff cant even be on the same page. She is so upset that she wasnt in the photo with her friends. Im so upset myself. My younger daughter is enrolled in fall class and Im cancelling that. Its ridiculous.
