Bah Humbug.....Staff including management (Manager Derrick) have a major attitude and treat customers hatefully! The only item in store was broken. Tuesday night manager Gary requested the item from Another store and had fed-ex. Gary was polite and helpful. I called 4 times to see if item was in before driving 1.5 hours from my home (closest store) but no one answered the phone either of the 4 times. I arrived at the store and two ladies were at customer service standing by the phone I tried calling (4 times). Item was still not in and said to check back tomorrow. Derrick acted very aggravated as if he was bothered to help a customer. So if I want my item; I have to drive back another 1.5 (one way) to get this item. Not worth the 3 hour drive so they can keep their attitude in a children’s toy store and their item.Update: got a call 2 days after Christmas for my item that was supposed to be delivered in two days from when it was requested.... So 4-5 days late! Think not.... found cheaper at Target and had it shipped to my house for $15 cheaper and no shipping.
I had a layaway at another location that was moved to this location. I had made a payment online before it was cancelled and moved from the old location to this one. The payment wasnt showing up and it was already taken from my bank account. I went in to this ToysRUs to get the problem resolved. While I was there almost 2 hours, it was resolved and my layaway payment was able to be paid fully off. The employee helping was definitely patient in dealing with it all. So happy it was dealt with and resolved. :3
Great stock instore of the items I found of interest searching online. Helpful staff. I was greeted and offered assistance immediately upon entering. Overall a successful shopping trip.
Ill miss Toys R Us! I remember when I was a kid waiting in anticipation each year for the Toys R Us Christmas Catalog to come in the mail. I always wanted to go in to the store just to look, as I would tell my mom and dad. Its where I bought Super Mario 3 for the NES way back when. And I got a Nintendo Power Glove (good memory, terrible product). I remember getting a fort for my backyard from there, and a Big Wheel with a squirt gun attached to the handle bar. In recent years, as a parent, my wife and I would go for Christmas shopping because it was nearly a one stop shopping experience.Their selling point to me was that they had lots of products you couldnt find in other stores. Then came Amazon.
Staff was helpful in helping us find what we were looking for. The store was a bit of a mess but its understandable why since the stores are closing and customers have been raiding it since but the sales are pretty lackluster. Only 10% off on Legos and 5% off of video game consoles, 10% off of video games, 20% off of dolls and RC cars but the baby section seems to have sold out since the discounts are much higher
How can I even like this place? First of all, Toys R Us is one of my least favorite stores ever. Second of all, it is extremely stuffed and scary. I really didnt want to go here after eating sushi, but here I am, complaining lots about the toys and the mascot. Last, and most certainly not least, there are way too many bratty kids in this store. I strongly do not recommend going here. Go here only if you want to ruin your entire life.
This is a good store with a decent variety of toys. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Their prices are higher on some items than other local competitors. We usually wait for their sales as that is when they are usually less expensive than other stores. We prefer going into the store as their online shopping has had multiple problems.
Obviously with them closing, theyve been incredibly picked over, and the store was rather dishevelled, and staff was not willing to assist. Its so much more enjoyable to have your face gnawed off by unruly toddlers.
This is one of the few places left where you can see a great selection of toys, try them out, and find ideas for kids
My wife and I had an ordeal with Babies R Us closing on Nolensville Rd. In short, $200 was stuck in limbo because the Nolensville store cancelled the layaway and an online payment had not posted to that account when the cancel/reorder was done to move the order to the Franklin Toys R Us, but later did clear the bank without crediting the order. It took two hours to resolve, but eventually he figured out a way to get the missing funds back to us. Kudos to them for working around a broken business process.
Time to buy ur Christmas gifts. The Cool Springs store is going out of business!!
The associates were helpful. Store was neat and clean. Lots of sales and deals.
We love the helpful staff here. They always are great helping my son find what he is looking for!
Great sales and there get better soon before they close at the end of June
Going out of business sales are pretty good. Sad to see it closing.
Toys R Us will always have a special place in my heart next to Lionel Play World and Kaybee Toys. This was my go-to TRU where the staff was always friendly, they always had figures in stock, and there was a decent slelection of the newest stuff. Unfortunately the most people Ive ever seen in this store in the five years Ive been visiting was today 3/25/18 during the going out of business sale. How sad that it took a closing event to bring people in. Toys R Us never did anything to make it an experience. There was no attractiveness to the visit because you could get the same products from Walmart or Amazon, and cheaper. Today was a sad, sad day for me...
The staff here is always helpful and management is friendly and informative. The store matches prices from competetion and has better selections for kids than most of its competetion.
Good selection of toys. We went for a free lego building event. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We love it. We stop whenever we come to Nashville because we dont have one where we live. Everyone is friendly.
The manager who was in charge on Sunday December 4th was patient! He kept everyone notified of what was happening with Hachimals and Nintendo Classic. He made my experience worth the wait. Thanks!
Good shop for any kind of toys
Joy and Taylor helped us with a couple bikes and gifts - awesome crew at this store!
I took my son to this particular toys r us store because he got something in the mail because he is part of the Toys R Us Geoffrey bday club. The AWESOME store manager, Joh made this a very special visit for him. My son got a cute free stuffed Geoffrey plush toy, a free book that tells the story about Geoffrey, a bday crown, and a super cute balloon. It is so great when you get excellent customer service, which is hard to come by these days. Thank you Toys R Us, and especially Joh for this great experience. I think this will become our new bday tradition.
Have loved this store since I was an kid. Now I get to relive it with my son!
Great selection. Wonderful staff
It is so helpful, so patient, and has almost everything you need. I totally found what I was looking for.
Love this store. So sad to see it close.
This is a Toys R Us and Babies R Us combo, but the baby side is very limited. The toys are great though, and employees are friendly and helpful!
Make plans on paying full price for a dirty display model, with no paperwork.. We were going to purchase a graco pack and play, We asked if they could find us another one and they couldnt but they would sell the display to us, I asked if we could get a discount and they said firmly NO, my wife wanted it so I asked them to pack it up because it had no paperwork and no box and we drive a car, they handed it to us in pieces and walked away, so I left it in the floor...
Great store good deals I will shop here forever!!!!!!! Oh wait theyre going out of business....
Sad to see this great store come to a humiliating end. We need more stores like this one.
