It was very easy to park at Eveready Square. The selection of shops was amazing. Not only did they have some large National chains like Talbots, but they also had small independent shops including quilt and knitting stores, a specialty tea shop, cute little boutiques with handmade items including jewelry and home decor.

Celebrated downtown Frederick’s annual Fire &Ice show at Everedy Square this year. We sold my husbands paintings @paintedbyawildling (Etsy), and he talked with guests about his time being in Game of Thrones. Great turn out and people so nice and genuinely excited to meet him. Event coordinator so welcoming. Strongly recommend visiting the the square for that yearly event and year round to eat, shop and get your hair done at Unique!

Stopped by the coffee cafe after dropping off some artwork at the Delaplaine and walking along Carroll Creek. We got something to go but could have eaten outside as they have doubled the tables outside. I felt like I had a normal doing what I like to do. The first normal day since early March. On the way home, I told my wife about Hardings campaign slogan, return to normalcy. Think this is a correct quote.

This is one of my favorite places in Frederick. Some amazing coffee and shopping. The parking is a bit challenging but cheap if you park on the street. Not too far a walk from Market and E. I have been a regular customer for the past several years but no longer. Yesterday the owner had my car towed, which was a $200 fee on my part, from his parking lot, even though I was parked in a legitimate spot. The lot was crowded so I did my best to give other cars in front of me room to get out. A sign stated that all non-paying customers will be towed however I had bought a tea and was sitting upstairs in the building for at least two hours.Apparently, the owner had also had the police out there looking at my car to make a big scene. I was informed by the manager at the Frederick Coffee Company next door that the owner has made a habit of doing this to customers for years now. I will never be a customer at Shab Row again and will continue to spread the word to others!

Kathy Markers the owner, was extremely helpful in showing and sharing all kinds of tips & techniques.Kathy went out of her way to give information, history & to give several demonstrations of her tools and needlework techniques. She was also very accommodating if we needed patterns or specific thread color.I would highly recommend her shoppe. You should plan ahead by bringing any of your project patterns and supply lists with you when you visit Kathys.
